 Alwa s wear e e protection when ou use this
equipment or when ou are in vicinit where the
equipment is in use.
 Never move the machine b pulling on high
pressure hose. Use the handle provided on the top
of the unit.
 Use a respirator or mask whenever there is a
chance that vapors ma be inhaled. Read all
instructions with the mask so ou are certain the
mask will provide the necessar protection against
inhaling harmful vapors.
 High pressure spra ma damage fragile items
including glass. Do not point spra gun at glass
when in the high pressure mode.
 Keep the hose connected to machine or the spra
gun while the s stem is pressurized. Disconnecting
the hose while the unit is pressurized is dangerous.
 Hold the spra gun firml in our hand before ou
start the unit. Do not leave the pressure washer
unattended while the machine is turned on.
 Cleaning area should have adequate slopes and
drainage to reduce possibilit of a fall due to
slipper surfaces.
 Keep water spra awa from electric wiring or fatal
electric shock ma result.
 Do not b pass an safet device on this machine.
 Operate and store this unit on a stable surface.
 Inspect hose each time before using it. Check all
hoses for cuts, leaks, abrasions, bulging of cover,
damage or movement of couplings. If an of these
conditions exist, replace hose immediatel . Never
repair high pressure hose. Replace it with another
hose that meets minimum pressure rating of our
pressure washer.
 Store in a clean, dr area. Ideall , the unit should be
stored in a frostfree room.
Servicing of a Double Insulated Product.
In a doubleinsulated product, two s stems of
insulation are provided instead of grounding. No
means of grounding is provided on a
doubleinsulated product, nor should a means for
grounding be added.
Servicing a doubleinsulated product requires
extreme care and knowledge of the s stem and
should be done onl b qualified service personnel.
Replacement parts for a doubleinsulated product
must be identical to the parts the replace. Use onl
genuine replacement parts. A doubleinsulated
product is marked with the words DOUBLE
INSULATION or DOUBLE INSULATED.
The s mbol ma also be marked on the product.
Extension Cords
Use onl extension cords that are approved for
outside use. These extension cords are identified b
a marking ACCEPTABLE FOR USE WITH
OUTDOOR APPLIANCES; STORE INDOORS
WHILE NOT IN USE. Use onl extension cords
having an electrical rating greater than the rating of
the product. Do not use damaged extension cords.
Examine extension cord before using and replace if
damaged. Do not abuse extension cord and do not
ank on an cord to disconnect it. Keep cord awa
from heat and sharp edges. Alwa s disconnect the
extension cord from the receptacle before
disconnecting the pressure washer from the
extension cord.

HOW TO SET UP YOUR
PRESSURE WASHER
 Unwind the high pressure hose and attach it to
spra gun (Figure 1).
 Attach the high pressure hose to the high pressure
outlet and tighten b hand (Figure 2).
 Check the screen on the garden hose connector.
Make sure it is clean and check for damage. If ou
see an damage in the screen, do not use
(Figure 3).
 Attach the garden hose connector to the pressure
washer.
 Attach garden hose to the pressure washer.
DANGER! When connecting the unit to a
power suppl receptacle, use ONLY a
receptacle protected b a Ground Fault Circuit
Interrupter (GFCI). This will help protect
against electrical shock.

CAUTION! Before starting ou should be
sure the electrical suppl is rated at 120 volts,
15 amps.
WARNING! To reduce the risk of
electrocution, keep ALL connections dr and
off the ground. DO NOT touch plug with wet
hands.
Note: We do not recommend that ou use extension
cords with this pressure washer. If, however, our
application requires that ou need an extension cord,
use onl extension cords that are approved for
outside use. These extension cords are identified b a
marking ACCEPTABLE FOR USE WITH OUTDOOR
APPLIANCES; STORE INDOORS WHILE NOT IN
USE. Use onl extension cords having an electrical
rating not less than the rating of the product. Do not
use damaged extension cords.
DANGER! You must attach the spra gun
and all hoses before ou start the motor.
 Turn on the water.
NOTE: Inlet water temperature should not exceed
104°F.
DANGER! You must be careful at this point.
An time ou squeeze the trigger, the motor will
start and water will spra out of the gun.
 Squeeze trigger to purge pump of s stem air and
impurities.
 Attach the turbo nozzle extension to spra gun b
aligning the locking tabs on the extension with the
grooves in the gun. Push extension inward and twist
clockwise to lock in place (Figure 4).
 Press the master On/Off Switch to the On position
(Figure 5).
WARNING! Before starting the pressure
washer, be sure ou are wearing adequate e e
protection. Goggles are included with this unit.
WARNING! Gun kicks back. Use both
hands.
DANGER! Risk of injur or injection to
people and animals. DO NOT discharge
stream at people or animals.
 Squeeze trigger to produce spra .
NOTE: Behind the trigger to the gun is a SAFETY
LATCH. You can place this latch as shown (Figure 6)
to keep the washer from accidentall spra ing while
ou are changing the nozzle head or foamer or
performing other tasks.

STOPPING YOUR
PRESSURE WASHER
 If the pressure washer is running, release the
trigger.
DANGER! Releasing the trigger will shut off
the motor but does not shut off the unit. You
must also place the Master On/Off Switch to
the OFF position.
 Place Master On/Off switch in Off position.
Simpl shutting OFF motor will not release
pressure in the s stem. Squeeze the trigger on the
gun to relieve the pressure in the hose.
DANGER: Never leave our pressure
washer unattended even when turned off.
HOW TO USE YOUR
WASHER
You now should know how to START our pressure
washer and how to STOP it. The information in this
section will tell ou how to adjust the spra pattern
and appl detergent or an other cleaning chemicals.
How to Use the Turbo Nozzle
The turbo nozzle rotates the high pressure stream in
a rapid circular pattern. The high pressure spra is
most effective when the tip of the wand is held
between 8 to 24 inches from the surface being
cleaned.
Alwa s start the turbo nozzle at a distance, graduall
getting closer to the surface until ou get the cleaning
force ou want.
CAUTION! The turbo nozzle produces an
extremel high pressure spra which is
capable of removing paint and cutting holes
through surfaces if held too close. Alwa s
make sure the surface ou will clean will not
be damaged b the high pressure spra b
testing in a hidden area.
Note: You cannot appl detergent with the turbo
nozzle.
Applying Detergent With Foamer
IMPORTANT: Use soaps designed specificall for
pressure washers. Household detergents could
damage the pump.
NOTE: Never use garden hose inlet to siphon
detergent or wax.
DANGER: You MUST attach all hoses and the spra
gun before ou start the motor.
WARNING! Before removing an spra gun
extension, be sure to turn off the pressure
washer and relieve pressure b pressing the
trigger. You could be injured if ou tr to
remove an extension if the pressure washer is
running and there is pressure in the s stem.
Pressure washers are useful cleaning tools designed
to clean almost an surface in two eas steps.
 First, appl an appropriate detergent/solvent
solution to penetrate and loosen grime. Apply
detergent at low pressure to avoid splashing,
overspraying and waste. Leave the solution on
surface for 3 to 5 minutes to allow solution to work.
Reappl as necessar to keep solution from dr ing.
 The second step involves cleaning the surface ou
have prepared with the pressure washer and then
rinsing it clean.

To apply detergent follow these steps:
 Detach the turbo nozzle extension from the spra
gun.
 Remove the bottle from the foamer.
 Align the locking tabs on the foamer with the groves
in the gun. Push inward and twist clockwise to lock
in place. (Note: make sure that when ou lock the
foamer into place ou have the hose that connects
to the foamer bottle hanging downward.)
 Prepare our detergent solution as required b the
manufacturer and fill bottle with the solution.
 Attach bottle back onto foamer making sure the
bottle hangs down.
 Start washer and appl detergent to a dr surface,
starting from the bottom and working up.
 To rinse, YOU MUST, stop the pressure washer,
remove the foamer and connect the adjustable
nozzle extension.
Note Detergents are most effective applied to a dr
surface.
To Clean
Start at lower portion of area to be washed and work
upward, using long, even overlapping strokes.
Detergent or degreaser works best when ou appl it
to a dr surface first. Let it set for 35 minutes before
washing and rinsing.
Rinse
Start at the top of area to be rinsed, working down
with the same action as for cleaning.

MAINTENANCE
The warrant of the high pressure washer does not
cover items that have been subjected to operator
abuse or negligence. To receive full value from the
warrant , operator must maintain high pressure
washer as instructed in this manual.
BEFORE EACH USE
Check and Clean Inlet Screen
Remove garden hose connector and examine the
inlet screen. Clean if clogged or replace the inlet
screen if damaged.
Check High Pressure Hose
DANGER: Water spra ing from a leak is
capable of injecting material into skin. Inspect
hose each time before using it. Never repair
high pressure hose. Replace it with another
hose that meets minimum pressure rating of
our pressure washer.
High pressure hose can develop leaks from wear,
kinking, and abuse. Check all hoses for cuts, leaks,
abrasions or bulging of cover, or damage or
movement of couplings. If an of these conditions
exist, replace hose immediatel .
Check Gun and Wand
Examine hose connection and make sure it is secure.
Test trigger b pressing it and making sure it springs
back into place when released. Put safet latch in ON
position and test trigger. You should not be able to
press trigger.
PURGE PUMP OF AIR AND
CONTAMINANTS
To remove the air from the pump, follow these
steps:
 Set up the pressure washer as described in the
ASSEMBLY section and connect the water suppl .
 Remove the turbo nozzle extension from the gun.
 Pull the trigger on the gun and hold.
To remove the contaminant from the pump, follow
these steps:
 Set up the pressure washer as described in the
ASSEMBLY section, connect the water suppl and
start the pressure washer according to instructions
in the OPERATION section.
 Remove the turbo nozzle extension from the gun.
 Pull the trigger on the gun and hold.
 When the water suppl is stead and constant, ou
ma refasten the turbo nozzle extension and use
pressure washer normall .
PREPARING THE UNIT FOR
STORAGE
Water should not remain in the unit for long periods of
time. Sediments of minerals can deposit on pump
parts and freeze pump action. If ou do not plan to
use the Pressure Washer for more than 30 da s,
follow this procedure:
1. Shut off the pressure washer, unplug it and let it
cool, then remove all hoses.
2. Store the pressure washer and its components in
such a wa as to protect it from freezing.
5. Store in a clean, dr area. Ideall , the unit should
be stored in a frostfree room.
6. Coil the high pressure hose and inspect it for
damage. Cuts in the hose or fra ing of it could result
in leaks and loss of pressure. Should an damage be
found, replace the hose. DO NOT attempt to repair a
damaged hose. Replace the hose with the genuine
Generac part.
7. Drain water from hose and properl store it to
prevent cuts and general wear.

* NOTE: For the purpose of this warrant consumer use means personal residential household use b original
purchaser. Commercial Use means all other uses, including rental, construction, commercial and income producing
purposes. Once a pressure washer has experienced commercial use, it shall thereafter be considered a commercial use
pressure washer for the purposes of this warrant .
During said warrant period, Generac Portable Products will, at its option, repair or replace an part which, upon
examination b Generac Portable Products or Generac Portable Products Authorized Dealers, is found to be defective
under normal use and service**. All transportation costs under warrant , including return to the factor if necessar , are
to be borne b the purchaser and prepaid b the purchaser.
** NORMAL WEAR: As with all mechanical devices, pressure washers need periodic parts service and replacement to
perform well. This warrant will not cover repair when normal use has exhausted the life of a part or pressure washer
pump.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT INCLUDE: Used products and demonstration equipment. Parts such as GUNS, HOSES,
WANDS, NOZZLES or other wear items such as quick couplers, oil, gauges, belts, O-rings, filters, pump packing, etc.
Pumps which have been run without water supplied. Damage or malfunctions resulting from: accidents, abuse,
modifications, alterations, or improper servicing. Freezing or chemical deterioration. Normal maintenance such as
adjustments, fuel s stem cleaning and obstruction (due to chemical, dirt, carbon or lime, etc.).
THIS WARRANTY IS IN PLACE OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, SPECIFICALLY, Generac
Portable Products MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES AS TO MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE. The duration of an implied warranties which cannot be disclaimed is limited to the time period as specified
in the express warrant . LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES UNDER ANY AND
ALL WARRANTIES IS EXCLUDED, EVEN IF SUCH DAMAGES ARE A DIRECT RESULT OF Generac Portable
Products' NEGLIGENCE. Generac also disclaims an responsibilit for incidental or consequential damages such as the
loss of time or the use of the power equipment, or an commercial loss due to the failure of the equipment: and an
