OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Turn the timer over an open the battery compartment on the back by sli ing its
cover up.
2. Install the supplie “AAA” battery in the compartment, observing the polarity
markings insi e. A correct installation will pro uce four quick beeps.
3. Replace the cover, turn the timer over, an remove an iscar the protective
plastic film with the black “19:59” overlay.
4. Set the esire count own time by repeate ly pressing the HR an MIN buttons
on the front panel until the time shows on the LCD. The maximum count own
uration is 19 hours, 59 secon s.
5. Press the START/STOP button to begin the count own. The timer will pro uce
one beep, an the colon separating the hours an minutes fiel s on the LCD will
begin blinking once per secon .
6. When the count own completes (with the isplay showing 0:00), the alarm will
soun . To silence the alarm, press the MIN button (which has the wor s
ALARM STOP in re below it). The timer will return to i le mo e, with the colon
stea y (not blinking).
7. To pause an ongoing count own, press the START/STOP button. The colon will stop flashing.
To resume a paused countdo n, press the START/STOP button again. The colon will resume blinking.
8. To enter a new count own uration, first clear the isplay by pressing the HR button (which has the wor CLEAR
in re below it). Then enter the new uration by pressing the HR an MIN buttons.
