1. ECHTE BANKNOTEN
BANKNOTEN MIT FLUORESZIERENDEN ZEICHEN
Wird eine Banknote unter das „UV“-Licht des Geldscheinprüfers gehalten, leuchten die fluoreszierenden
Zeichen/Teile oder ein Bild auf.
BANKNOTEN OHNE FLUORESZIERENDE ZEICHEN
Wird eine Banknote unter das „UV“-Licht des Geldscheinprüfers gehalten, erfolgt keine merkbare Änderung in
Farbe oder Beschaffenheit. Das Wasserzeichen ist nicht sichtbar.
Der Metallstreifen erscheint als punktierte Linie auf der Vorderseite der Note, ist auf der Rückseite aber nicht
sichtbar.
2. DIE MEISTEN GEFÄLSCHTEN BANKNOTEN
die in den Geldscheinprüfer gelegt werden, zeigen sofort eine fluoreszierende blaue Farbe. Das Wasserzeichen ist
klar sichtbar und der Metallstreifen ist auf beiden Seiten sichtbar als ununterbrochene Linie. Nicht alle gefälschten
Banknoten fluoreszieren, falls Sie im Zweifel sind, prüfen Sie das Wasserzeichen und den Metallstreifen. Der
Druck sollte sehr klar sein mit genau festgelegten Farben. Wenn die Banknote in gutem Zustand ist, sollte sich das
Papier fest und leicht rauh in den stark bedruckten Bereichen anfühlen. Die Note sollte nicht schlaff,
durchscheinend oder wachsartig sein. Wenn die Note echt ist, werden das Wasserzeichen und der Metallstreifen
so erscheinen, wie oben unter ECHTE BANKNOTEN beschrieben.
DOKUMENTENPRÜFUNG
Die meisten Bankschecks / Kreditkarten / Dokumente / Eintrittskarten haben aufgedruckte fluoreszierende Bilder
und / oder Muster.
Sie erscheinen unter dem „UV“-Licht.
WARNUNG
Der Geldscheinprüfer arbeitet mit blauen oder schwarzen „UV“-Röhren, die in einem geschützten Plastikgehäuse
platziert sind.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in Augenhöhe, da längere Einwirkung von direktem „UV“-Licht Ihre Augen schädigen
kann.
Die durchschnittliche Lebensdauer der „UV“-Röhren beträgt 2.000 bis 4.000 Stunden Dauereinsatz. Bitte tauschen
Sie die UV-Lampe nur bei einem Elektrofachhandel.
3. GARANTIEABWICKLUNG UND UV-WECHSELSERVICE
Vielen Dank für den Kauf dieses GENIE Produktes. Sollte dieses Gerät wider Erwarten nicht einwandfrei
funktionieren, so beachten Sie bitte Folgendes:
Die Garantiezeit beträgt bei sachgerechter Nutzung 24 Monate ab Kaufdatum. Bewahren Sie bitte den Kaufbeleg
und die Originalverpackung auf. Die Garantieleistung gilt nur für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler, nicht aber für
Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z.B. am Gehäuse. Geräte, die von außen durch unsachgemäßen
Gebrauch beschädigt wurden, sind vom Umtausch ausgeschlossen. Eine Garantie erlischt, wenn Reparaturen
ohne ausdrückliche Einwilligung unseres Kundenservices durchgeführt wurden.

Garantiereparaturen können nur mit beigefügtem Kaufbeleg erfolgen – jede Rücksendung bitte telefonisch
anmelden! Es können nur ausreichend frankierte Rücksendungen mit entsprechender Retourennummer
angenommen werden. Bitte geben Sie immer Name, Straße, PLZ, Wohnort und Telefon mit Vorwahl und den
Grund Ihrer Reklamation an.
UV-Lampen Wechselservice
Aus Sicherheitsgründen sollten Sie die Lampen nicht selbst wechseln, da dazu das Gerät geöffnet werden muss.
Sollten die UV-Lampen defekt sein und ausgetauscht werden müssen, senden Sie das komplette Gerät – bitte gut
verpackt und frankiert – an nachstehende Anschrift:

Bitte fügen Sie EURO 8,- (bei Wechsel von 2 UV-Lampen Euro 12,-) der Sendung bei. Die Lampen werden dann

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE BANK NOTE & DOCUMENT VERIFIER
Please pay particular attention to the following cautionary notices. Please keep these instructions for subsequent
reference; when passing the product on, please include the instructions. Should you have any questions or
concerns regarding the device, you will find the service information at the end of these instructions.
1. AUTHENTIC BANK NOTES
BANK NOTES WITH FLUORESCING CHARACTERS
If a bank note is held under the “UV” light of the bank note verifier, the fluorescing characters/parts or an image will
illuminate.
BANK NOTES WITHOUT FLUORESCING CHARACTERS
If a bank note is held under the “UV” light of the bank note verifier, no noticeable change to the colour or
composition occurs. The watermark is not visible.
The metal strip is rendered as a dotted line on the front of the note, but is not visible on the reverse side.
2. MOST COUNTERFEITED BANK NOTES
which are inserted in the bank note verifier immediately display a fluorescing blue colour. The watermark is clearly
visible and the metal strip is visible on both sides as a continuous line. Not all bank notes fluoresce, if in doubt,
check the watermark and the metal strip. The print should be very clear with distinctly defined colours. If the bank
note is in good condition, the paper should be firm and slightly rough to the touch in the heavily printed areas. The

note should not droop, be translucent or wax-like. If the note is authentic, then the watermark and the metal strip
will appear as described above under AUTHENTIC BANK NOTES.
DOCUMENT VERIFICATION
Most bank cheques / credit cards / documents / admission cards have fluorescing images and / or patterns printed
on them.
They appear under the “UV” light.
WARNING
The bank note verifier works with blue or black “UV” tubes, which have been placed in a protected plastic case.
Do not use the device at eye level as the prolonged effect of direct "UV" light may cause injury to your eyes.
The average service life of the “UV” tubes ranges from 2,000 to 4,000 hours of continuous use. Please only replace
the UV light at an electrical retailer.
3. PROCESSING OF WARRANTY CLAIMS AND UV REPLACEMENT SERVICE
Thank you for purchasing this GENIE product. If the device fails to function properly contrary to expectations,
please observe the following:
The warranty period amounts to 24 months from the date of purchase in the event of proper use. Please keep the
proof of purchase and the original packaging. The warranty service only applies to material or manufacturer errors,
but not to damages to fragile parts e.g. the casing. Units, which have been damaged externally due to improper
use do not qualify for replacement. The warranty is forfeited if repairs were performed without the express consent
of our customer service department.
Warranty repairs may only be performed with an enclosed proof of purchase - please report all returns by phone.
Only prepaid returns with a corresponding return number can be accepted. Please always state the name, street,
postal code, domicile, and phone number including area code as well as the reason for your return.
UV light replacement service
For reasons of safety, you should not replace the lights yourself as the unit has to be opened for this. If the UV
lights are defective and have to be exchanged, forward the entire unit - please ensure that it is well packed and
postage is prepaid - to the following address.

1. BILLETS DE BANQUE AUTHENTIQUES
BILLETS DE BANQUE AVEC SIGNES FLUORESCENTS
Lorsqu'un billet est exposé à la lumière ultraviolette du détecteur de faux billets, des signes ou des parties ou une
image apparaissent par fluorescence.
BILLETS DE BANQUE SANS SIGNES FLUORESCENTS
Lorsqu'un billet est exposé à la lumière ultraviolette du détecteur de faux billets, une modification remarquable de
couleur ou de structure apparaît. Le filigrane est invisible.
Le bande métallique apparaît en pointillés au recto du billet mais n'est pas visible au verso.
2. LA PLUPART DES FAUX BILLETS
qui sont posés dans le détecteur présentent aussitôt une couleur bleue fluorescente. Le filigrane est bien visible et
la bande métallique apparaît au recto et au verso comme trait ininterrompu. Tous les faux billets ne sont pas
fluorescents. Dans le doute, vérifiez le filigrane et la bande métallique. L'impression devrait être très claire avec
des couleurs bien définies. Lorsqu'un billet est en bon état, son papier est rigide et ses surfaces fortement
imprimées sont légèrement rugueuses au toucher. Le billet ne doit pas être mou, transparent ou cireux. Si le billet
est authentique, son filigrane et sa bande métallique doivent apparaître comme décrit ci-dessus à la section
BILLETS DE BANQUES AUTHENTIQUES.
VÉRIFICATION DE DOCUMENTS
La plupart des chèques de banques, cartes de crédits, documents protégés, cartes d'entrée, présentent des
images et / ou des dessins fluorescents.
La lumière ultraviolette les met en évidence.
AVERTISSEMENT
Le détecteur de faux billets fonctionne avec des tubes à ultraviolets bleus ou noirs. Ces tubes sont placés dans un
boîtier en plastique protégé.
N'utilisez pas l'appareil à hauteur des yeux. Une exposition directe aux ultraviolets finit à la longue par nuire à la
vue.
En moyenne, un tube à ultraviolets dure de 2 000 à 4 000 heures lorsqu'il fonctionne en permanence. Pour
remplacer une lampe à ultraviolets, adressez-vous toujours à un électricien qualifié.
3. GARANTIE ET SERVICE DE REMPLACEMENT DES LAMPES
Toutes nos félicitations pour l'achat de ce produit de GENIE. Si, contre toute attente, l'appareil ne fonctionnait pas
correctement, reportez-vous à ce qui suit :
l'appareil est garanti 24 mois d'utilisation conforme à compter de sa date d'achat. Veuillez conserver le justificatif
de paiement et l'emballage d'origine. La garantie ne couvre que les vices de matériaux ou de main d'œuvre. En
sont exclus les dommages aux parties cassantes, au boîtier, par exemple. Un appareil présentant un dommage
extérieur suite à un usage incorrect ne sera pas remplacé. Une réparation effectuée sans l'accord explicite de notre
service après-vente annule tout droit à garantie.
Les réparations en garantie ne seront effectuées que sur présentation de la preuve d'achat – aucun retour sans
autorisation préalable demandée par téléphone. Seuls sont acceptés les retours affranchis suffisamment avec

Service de remplacement des lampes UV
Pour des raisons de sécurité, ne remplacez pas vous-même une lampe puisque ce remplacement demande
l'ouverture de l'appareil. Si une lampe à ultraviolets est défectueuse et doit être remplacée, envoyez l'appareil
complet – bien emballé et affranchi suffisamment – à l'adresse suivante

Traitement des déchets:
Directive 2012/19/EC relative aux déchets d’équipements électriques et électroniques (WEEE) concernant
la collecte sélective, le traitement de certains composants et la valorisation des déchets par recyclage
(waste electrical and electronic equipment –WEEE).
Le symbole barré d’un conteneur signale que l’appareil ne doit pas être collecté avec les déchets
ménagers, mais doit être rendu aux centres de collecte équipés, chargés du recyclage ou de l’élimination
conforme.

ISTRUZIONI PER L'USO DEL VERIFICATORE DI BANCONOTE E DOCUMENTI
La preghiamo di dedicare particolare attenzione alle precauzioni per la sicurezza esposte di seguito. Conservare
queste istruzioni per poterle consultare anche in futuro. In caso di cessione dell'articolo, La preghiamo di fornire al

1. BANCONOTE AUTENTICHE
BANCONOTE CON CARATTERI FLUORESCENTI
Quando una banconota viene tenuta sotto il raggio "UV" del verificatore, i caratteri e le parti fluorescenti o
l'immagine si illuminano.
BANCONOTE SENZA CARATTERI FLUORESCENTI
Quando una banconota viene tenuta sotto il raggio "UV" del verificatore, non si nota alcuna modifica significativa
nel colore o nello stato. La filigrana non è visibile.
Il filo metallico appare come una linea tratteggiata sul lato anteriore della banconota, ma non è visibile sul retro.
2. LA MAGGIOR PARTE DELLE BANCONOTE FALSIFICATE
che vengono inserite nel verificatore di banconote, mostrano immediatamente un colore blu fluorescente. La
filigrana è chiaramente visibile e il filo metallico appare su entrambi i lati della banconota come linea continua. Non
tutte le banconote false risultano fluorescenti. In caso di dubbio, controllare la filigrana e il filo metallico. La stampa
deve essere chiara, con colori molto marcati. Se la banconota è in buono stato, la carta deve risultare compatta e
leggermente ruvida al tatto nelle zone stampate. La banconota non deve essere floscia, trasparente o cerea. Se la
banconota è autentica, la filigrana e il filo metallico devono apparire esattamente come descritto sopra nel
paragrafo BANCONOTE AUTENTICHE.
VERIFICA DEI DOCUMENTI
La maggior parte degli assegni, carte di credito, documenti, biglietti d'ingresso presentano immagini e/o disegni
stampati fluorescenti.
Questi appaiono sotto il raggio di luce "UV".
AVVISO
Il verificatore di banconote è dotato di tubi "UV" blu o neri inseriti in una cassa di plastica protetta.
Non utilizzare l'apparecchio all'altezza degli occhi poiché l'esposizione prolungata alla luce diretta dei raggi "UV"
può danneggiare la vista.
La vita media dei tubi "UV" ha una durata da 2.000 a 4.000 ore circa di utilizzo continuato. Sostituire la lampada a
raggi UV solo presso negozi di componenti elettrici specializzati.
3. VALIDITÀ DELLA GARANZIA E SERVIZIO DI SOSTITUZIONE UV

La ringraziamo per avere acquistato questo prodotto GENIE. Nel caso l'apparecchio non funzionasse
correttamente, osservare quanto segue:
Con un utilizzo corretto dell'apparecchio, la garanzia corrisponde a 24 mesi dalla data di acquisto. Conservare lo
scontrino e la confezione originale. La garanzia è valida solo in caso di difetti nel materiale o nella fabbricazione,
non copre tuttavia eventuali danni a parti fragili, come la cassa esterna. È esclusa la sostituzione di apparecchi
danneggiati dall'esterno in seguito a un utilizzo non conforme. La garanzia decade se vengono effettuate
riparazioni senza l'espressa autorizzazione del nostro Servizio Clienti.
Le riparazioni in garanzia vengono accettate solo allegando lo scontrino di acquisto. Avvisare telefonicamente
prima di restituire il prodotto! Verranno accettate soltanto restituzioni via posta, affrancate e provviste di numero di
contrassegno. Indicare i propri dati: nome, via, CAP, località, numero di telefono con prefisso e il motivo del
reclamo.
Servizio di sostituzione delle lampade UV
Per motivi di sicurezza, non sostituire mai le lampade da soli, poiché è necessario aprire l'apparecchio. Se le
lampade UV dovessero risultare difettose e da sostituire, inviare l'intero apparecchio, ben imballato ed affrancato,
all'indirizzo indicato di seguito.

Smaltimento:
È applicabile la direttiva europea 2012/19/EC sull'uso, la raccolta, il riutilizzo e lo smaltimento di
apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche e dei relativi componenti (rifiuti di apparecchiature elettriche ed
elettroniche: WEEE). Il simbolo di un contenitore per rifiuti barrato da una croce significa che l'apparecchio
non può essere smaltito con la normale spazzatura, ma deve essere portato nei centri di raccolta attrezzati
per il corretto riutilizzo o smaltimento.

1. BILLETES BANCARIOS VERDADEROS
BILLETES BANCARIOS CON MARCAS FLUORESCENTES
Si se sostiene un billete bancario debajo de la luz "UV" del verificador de billetes, las marcas, los elementos
fluorescentes o una imagen resplandecen.
BILLETES BANCARIOS SIN MARCAS FLUORESCENTES
Si se sostiene un billete bancario debajo de la luz “UV” del verificador de billetes, no se produce ningún cambio
notable en cuanto al color o a sus características. La marca de agua no es visible.
La tira metálica aparece como línea punteada en el anverso del billete, pero no es visible en el reverso.
2. LA MAYORÍA DE LOS BILLETES BANCARIOS FALSIFICADOS
que se colocan en el verificador de billetes, muestran inmediatamente un color azul fluorescente. La marca de
agua puede verse claramente y la tira metálica aparece a ambos lados como una línea ininterrumpida. No todos
los billetes falsos son fluorescentes; si tiene dudas, verifique la marca de agua y la tira metálica. La impresión
debe ser bien clara y con colores precisamente determinados. Si el billete bancario está en buen estado, el papel
debe sentirse resistente y levemente rugoso en las áreas muy impresas. El billete no debe ser blando, translúcido

ni ceroso. Si el billete es verdadero, la marca de agua y la tira metálica deben aparecer como se describe más
arriba en BILLETES BANCARIOS VERDADEROS.
VERIFICACIÓN DE DOCUMENTOS
La mayoría de los cheques bancarios, tarjetas de crédito, documentos o entradas poseen imágenes o dibujos
impresos fluorescentes.
Y pueden verse bajo la luz “UV”.
ADVERTENCIA
El verificador de billetes trabaja con tubos “UV” azules o negros, ubicados en una carcasa plástica protegida.
Nunca utilice el aparato a la altura de los ojos, porque la acción prolongada de la luz “UV” directa puede dañar sus
ojos.
La vida útil promedio de los tubos “UV” es de 2.000 hasta 4.000 horas de uso permanente. Cambie la lámpara UV
únicamente en comercios especializados en electricidad.
3. GARANTÍA Y SERVICIO DE CAMBIO UV
Muchas gracias por haber adquirido este producto GENIE. Si, a diferencia de lo esperado, este aparato no
funcionara adecuadamente, le rogamos que tenga en cuenta lo siguiente:
Si el uso es apropiado, la garantía se extiende durante 24 meses a partir de la fecha de compra. Conserve el
comprobante de compra y el embalaje original. La garantía rige únicamente para defectos del material o de
fabricación, y no para daños en piezas frágiles, por ejemplo, en la carcasa. Los aparatos que hayan sido dañados
externamente debido al uso indebido, no pueden cambiarse. La garantía se extingue, si se han realizado
reparaciones sin el consentimiento expreso de nuestro servicio de atención al cliente.
Las reparaciones en el marco de la garantía sólo pueden realizarse presentando el comprobante de compra –
¡informar sobre cada devolución en forma telefónica! Sólo es posible aceptar devoluciones con el franqueado
correspondiente, que cuenten con el número de devolución respectivo. Le rogamos que siempre indique su
nombre, calle, código postal, lugar de residencia y teléfono con prefijo y el motivo de su reclamo.
Servicio de cambio de lámparas UV
Por motivos de seguridad, no debería cambiar las lámparas usted mismo, porque para hacerlo se debe abrir el
aparato. Si las lámparas UV estuvieran defectuosas y debieran cambiarse, envíe el aparato completo -bien
envuelto y con el franqueado correspondiente- a la siguiente dirección:

La retirada:
Directiva 2012/19/EC sobre el tratamiento, recogida, reciclaje y eliminación de aparatos eléctricos y
electrónicos y sus componentes (Residuos de aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos - WEEE). El símbolo
tachado de un contenedor de basura indica que el aparato no puede depositarse en un cubo para residuos
domésticos; en su lugar, debe llevarse a un centro de recogida debidamente equipado para su reciclaje o
eliminación.

NÁVOD K OBSLUZE TESTERU PRAVOSTI BANKOVEK A DOKUMENTŮ
Dbejte zejména následujících bezpečnostních pokynů. Uchovejte prosím tento návod k pozdějšímu nahlédnutí, při
předání přístroje dále přiložte prosím tento návod. V případě otázek k přístroji nebo reklamací vyhledejte prosím
informace o našem servisu na konci tohoto návodu.
1. PRAVÉ BANKOVKY
BANKOVKY S FLUORESCENČNÍMI ZNAKY
Pokud přidržíte bankovku pod „UV“ světlem, fluorescenční znaky/části nebo obrázky se rozsvítí.
BANKOVKY BEZ FLUORESCENČNÍCH ZNAKŮ
Pokud přidržíte bankovku pod „UV“ světlem, nezobrazí se žádná viditelná změna barvy nebo charakteru.
Vodoznak není viditelný.
Kovový pásek se zobrazí jako čárkovaná čára na přední straně bankovky, ale na zadní straně není viditelný.
2. VĚTŠINA PADĚLANÝCH BANKOVEK,
které jsou do testeru vloženy, zobrazují ihned fluorescenční modrou barvu. Vodoznak není jasně viditelný a kovový
pásek je z obou stran viditelný jako nepřerušená čára. Ne všechny padělané bankovky fluoreskují. Pokud máte
pochybnosti, zkontrolujte vodoznak a kovový proužek. Tisk by měl být velmi jasný s přesně určenými barvami.
Pokud je bankovka v dobrém stavu, měl by být papír na silně potištěných oblastech podle hmatu pevný a lehce
drsný. Bankovka by neměla být měkká, průhledná nebo voskovitá. Pokud je bankovka pravá, měl by se vodoznak
a kovový proužek zobrazit tak, jak je to popsáno výše v odstavci PRAVÉ BANKOVKY.
KONTROLA DOKUMENTŮ
Většina bankovních šeků / kreditních karet / dokumentů / vstupních karet má natisknuté fluorescenční obrázky
a/nebo vzory.
Pod UV světlem se zobrazí.
VÝSTRAHA
Tester bankovek pracuje s modrými nebo černými „UV“-lampami, které jsou umístěny ve chráněném plastovém
tělese.
Nepoužívejte přístroj ve výšce očí, protože delší působení UV světla může Vaše oči poškodit.
Průměrná životnost „UV“ lamp je 2.000 až 4.000 hodin trvalého provozu. UV lampy vyměňujte prosím jen v
odborném obchodě elektro.
3. ZÁRUKA A SERVIS NA VÝMĚNU UV LAMP
Mnohokrát děkujeme za koupi tohoto výrobku GENIE. Pokud přístroj oproti očekávání nepracuje bezvadně, dbejte
prosím následujícího:
Záruční doba je při správném používání 24 měsíců od data koupě. Uchovejte si prosím kupní doklad a originální
balení. Záruka platí na materiálové nebo výrobní vady, ale ne na poškození křehkých dílů, například na tělese.
Přístroje, které jsou poškozeny neodborným použitím, jsou z výměny vyloučeny. Záruka zaniká, pokud byla
provedena oprava bez výslovného schválení našeho servisu.
Záruční opravy mohou být provedeny pouze s přiloženým nákupním dokladem. Pro reklamaci vyplňte prosím
pečlivě reklamační formulář na níže uvedeném webu a vyčkejte na další pokyny.

Servis výměny UV lamp
Z bezpečnostních důvodů byste si neměli lampy vyměňovat sami, protože k tomu se musí přístroj otevřít. Pokud
jsou UV lampy vadné a musí být vyměněny zašlete kompletní přístroj - prosím dobře zabalená a ofrankovaný – na
následující adresu:

Do zásilky přiložte prosím 8,- EUR (při výměně 2 UV lamp 12 EUR). Lampy jsou potom odborně vyměněny a
přístroj je obratem bez dodatečných nákladů odeslán zpět. Uveďte prosím čitelně Vaši adresu, a pro případné
telefonické dotazy telefonní číslo. Dbejte prosím na to, že naše servisní centrum nemůže přebírat nevyplacené
zásilky.

symbol popelnice znamená, že přístroj nesmí být likvidován s domácím odpadem, ale má být odevzdán
do k tomu vybavených shromažďovacích center (sběrných dvorů) k odborné recyklaci, resp. likvidaci.
