Installation Site Requirements
It is important to carefully consider where you install the LSA6000 and to take precautions to secure the ATM.
This section covers the following topics:
LSA6000 Dimensions
Power and Network Requirements
Internet Connection
Physical Security Considerations
Dimensions
LSA6000 Dimensions
The LSA6000 weighs 350 lbs. (or more depending on dispenser option).
Height: 51 inches
Width: 18 inches
Depth: 21 inches
Power and Network
The LSA6000 must be connected to a dedicated power circuit. This circuit must consist of line, neutral and ground
leads connected directly to the power circuit breaker panel. This circuit should not be shared with any other
equipment. Use of a surge protector or uninterruptible power supply is recommended. The kiosk should be
attached to a power line that does not have a scheduled shutdown time for maintenance or other purposes.
Following are the power supply features:
Power Switch with Soft-Switch Shutdown
110/220 Volts
60/50 Hz
283 Watts (Max)
Built-in Surge Protection, Fuse Protection

Phone Line Requirements
If a dial-up connection is used, the LSA6000 should be connected to a dedicated phone line. This line must be a
direct dial analog line that is equipped with a standard telephone wall jack (RJ-11). This line cannot be shared
with any other equipment. Use of shielded (CAT5) phone cable is recommended for best performance and to
reduce the chance of interference.
Internet Connection
The Internet connection requires a Cat 5 or greater cable. The network line to the kiosk should not be included in
a domain which has automatic Windows updates or other automatic uploads.
Physical Security
Gaming Laboratories International, LLC (GLI) provides independent certifications to suppliers of equipment to the
gaming industry. GLI provides technical standards that cover criteria which impact the credibility and integrity of
the kiosk, from both revenue collection and security perspectives. Standards include kiosk hardware and software
requirements. For information on GLI standards, reference:
https://www.gaminglabs.com/pdfs/GLI-20_v1.5_Standard.pdf
The ATM Industry Association (ATMIA) published Best Practices for ATM Physical Security Version 3 for ATMIA
members. For a full reading of Best Practices for ATM Physical Security details and security guidelines, please
contact the ATMIA office, or visit their website at:
www.atmia.com
Note: GLI standards supersede ATMIA standards for the gaming industry.

Setting Up the LSA6000 Hardware
Follow these steps to set up the LSA6000:
1. Verify the incoming power voltage (115/220V) for
your location, and check the switch on the power
supply of the ATM (should be defaulted to 115V).
2. Verify that the telephone line or Internet connection for the ATM is in proper working order. Make sure
there is no voicemail on the line (pulse noise when you first lift the receiver). Note: Digital phone lines
(Voice over IP) are not supported by this ATM.
3. Open the security door. (See Opening the Security Door on page 10.)
4. Remove the cash cassette from its packing box (removable cassette dispensers only). Fill the cassette or
cash drawer with the appropriate amount of notes, and carefully place it in the Cash Dispensing Unit. (See
Loading Cash into the Cassette on page 18.)
5. Before closing the vault, thoroughly test the combination lock by locking and unlocking the lock several
times. It is much easier to diagnose potential lock problems before shutting the door.
6. Open the top of the ATM. Place the receipt paper in the Receipt Printer. The paper prints only on one side
(shiny side). Always check the roll when you install the paper. Place the roll so that the coated side (shiny
side) is facing up. (See Loading Receipt Paper on page 21.)
7. Connect the power cable and the telephone cable to the appropriate outlets on the wall. Verify the AC
power outlet is grounded (3-prong plug).
If you are installing an optional topper sign, install the power cord through the top housing, and plug the
topper into the open connector located on the front of the power supply. Make sure the cable has enough
slack to allow the slide tray to open completely.
8. Turn the power on, and verify that all systems are operational. If any part on the system or its
programming is not operational, an error code will display along with instructions. If the error cannot be
corrected, please call our 24/7 CAMS support desk (800-500-1973).
Use this key to open the top
and bottom bezels. (2 keys
are included.)

Unlocking from Default Combination
Follow these steps to unlock from the default combination:
1. Press the default combination, one button at a time. You will hear a beep following each key press.
See your lock manual for the default combination.
2. If the combination is entered correctly and you press #, you will hear a double beep, and the internal lock
solenoid will click, indicating that the lock is open and the vault handle can now turn.
3. If you enter the wrong combination, 3 beeps will sound. If the correct combination is not entered within 4
consecutive attempts, a 10-minute delay or lock-out will begin. During this time, the LED at the 10 o’clock
position on the face of the lock will flash at 10-second intervals. In addition, any key press will respond with
a triple-beep. Any attempt to use the lock while it is in this mode will cause the 10-minute timer to reset.
Warning: Always work with the vault door open while orienting yourself to the lock and making changes to the
lock programming (including changing the combination). Do not close the vault until the lock has been thoroughly
tested. Global Payments does not program a master combination.

1. Begin by entering 6 2 2 *
2. Enter the existing (default) combination one time and press #. You will hear 5 beeps.
3. Enter the new combination and press #. You will hear 2 beeps.
4. Enter the new combination a second time and press #. You will hear 2 more beeps.
5. If the procedure is not performed correctly, you will hear 3 beeps at the end, and the lock will revert back
to the previous combination.
** Important warning **
Remember to always test lock functions with the door open. Do not close and lock the door
until you are certain that the lock is functioning properly.
