Overview
A full service Ticket Redemption Unit, the LSK1500/1550 allows gaming patrons to access cash through a four-in-
one self-service solution:
Ticket Redemption and Bill Breaking
ATM
Credit Card and POS Debit Cash Advance
Electronic Check Cashing
The 1500 and the 1550 are identical in features and functions, with the exception that the 1500 has one bill
validator and the 1550 has two bill validators.
Features and Functions
Ticket Redemption and Bill Breaking
Patrons can redeem cash-out vouchers from the casino video gaming machine to receive the value of the ticket.
The LSK1500/1550 validates the ticket against the casino’s ticketing system.
The bill breaking feature allows patrons to insert paper currency and receive smaller bills:
5 X $20s for $100
2 X $20s and 2 X $5s for $50
4 X $5s for $20
2 X $5s for $10
5 X $1s for $5

The LSK1500/1550’s cash presenting unit includes:
Four Cassette Capacity
Front-Loading 2000 Note Locking Cassette
Locking Reject/Divert Cassette
Double Detection and Exit Sensor
Cassette-Integrated Pick Technology
One or Two Bill Acceptor Options
The LSK1500/1550 comes with the following options for bill accepting/validation:
The 2200 Note MEI SCNXL83 bill acceptor (one per 1500/two per 1550)
Optional 3000 Note JCM on the LSK1500 only
Both solutions provide:
Superior counterfeit detection technology, maximizing uptime and customer throughput
Lockable, removable cashbox for secure cash storage
Low jam rates, ensuring high uptime results
Ticket/Receipt Printer Combo
The LSK1500/1550 redeems tickets for cash and prints a receipt for the customer:
66mm thermal printer with 40 characters per line
Automatic paper loading and cutting
Paper-out status sensor
200 DPI monographic printing capability
ATM Cash Withdrawal
The LSK1500/1550 is also an ATM. Customers can withdraw cash using most bank cards and a valid PIN.

PlayerCash Credit Card Cash Advance
The fully electronic credit card cash advance service, PlayerCash, offers patrons access to cash through all major
credit card networks. Additionally, PlayerCash is a fully-electronic product that allows customers to complete
transactions on a signature capture device, eliminating the need to print and deposit paper drafts. Integrated
security features reduce fraud and help prevent chargebacks. Funds are deposited directly into the
establishment’s account via ACH.
POS Debit Cash Advance
The fully electronic POS debit card cash advance service offers patrons access to cash through all major debit
card networks.
Preferred Plus Electronic Check Cashing
Preferred Plus Electronic Check Cashing is a paper-less, check-less electronic check guarantee process. Using
their VIP Preferred Card, customers are able to cash Echecks at the kiosk without having to go to the cage for
payment, allowing customers to avoid lines at the cage. All Preferred Plus transactions are 100% guaranteed by
Global Payments.
LSK BusinessView Reporting/Portal
BusinessView is a secure, data retrieval and management tool that provides 24-hour online access to transaction,
funding and reporting information. The browser-based application, accessible through the LSK1500/1550 portal,
assists with reconciliation efforts by providing next-day transaction data as well as 18 months of historical data
through a robust search engine.
Choice4™
Choice4™ offers casinos the convenience of accepting Echeck transactions while allowing selected customers to
extend settlement terms up to 28 days. Customers can choose up to four personal accounts for payment of the
standard Echeck, along with the desired settlement term.
Choice4™ also eliminates the risk of returned checks –with every approved transaction 100% guaranteed by
Global Payments.

Installation Site Requirements
It is important to carefully consider where you install the LSK1500/1550 and to take precautions to secure the
kiosk. This section covers the following topics:

The height of the LSK1500/1550 is 61 inches.
The width of the LSK1500/1550 is 29.9 inches.
The depth of the LSK1500/1550 is 24.6 inches.
Power and Network
The LSK1500/1550 uses a standard wall outlet. However, the kiosk should be attached to a power line that does
not have a scheduled shutdown time for maintenance or other purposes. Following are the power supply features:

Internet Connection
The Internet connection requires a Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable. The network line to the kiosk should not be included in a
domain which has automatic Windows updates or other automatic uploads.
Physical Security
Gaming Laboratories International, LLC (GLI) provides independent certifications to suppliers of equipment to the
gaming industry. GLI provides technical standards that cover criteria which impact the credibility and integrity of
the kiosk, from both revenue collection and security perspectives. Standards include kiosk hardware and software

Setting Up the LSK1500/1550
This section includes helpful information when setting up the LSK1500/1550:
Loading cash into the cassette

Loading Cash to the Kiosk: Drop/Fill
Follow these steps to load cash into the LSK1500/1550:
1. Open the monitor door and enter your credentials. The Main Menu displays.
2. Press Drop Functions.
NOTE: If a drop has been completed, the Drop Functions button displays “Fill Functions.”
3. To purge/dump coins in the hopper, select the appropriate denomination, and press Purge.

4. Pull all the cassettes (Remove cassette from HCDU). When complete, press Done. The status of the
cassettes displays on the right side of the screen, indicating if the cassette has been pulled.
5. Pull the stacker cans, and press Done.

6. The Drop is now complete. The kiosk prints a Drop Receipt, and the Initial Fill Amounts screen displays.
7. To change the fill amount, select the appropriate denomination and press Modify. The Modify Fill Amount
screen displays. You can increase or decrease the amount by 1, 10, or 100 increments. To change the actual
dollar amount, press Denomination.

8. Press Done.
9. Select the denomination you want, and Press Done. The system confirms the changed currency and displays
the modified denominations.
10. When you complete the fill, press Done. The kiosk prints a Fill Receipt and displays the Main Menu.
Performing a Sub Drop
1. While on the Main Menu, pull the desired can.
2. If inserting a new can, highlight the can pulled, and select New before inserting the new can.
3. If replacing the can, highlight the can pulled, and select Replace before inserting the new can.

Loading Cash into the Cassette
Follow these steps to load cash into the cassette:
1. Remove cassette from HCDU:
Hold the handle and lift the front end so
that it is released from its dropped
position.
Pull straight and support the cassette
body with the other hand before it
comes out of the HCDU.
2. Pull the push plate all the way back to the case in
which it can be locked to its open position. The
push plate moves forward by its own force from
spring action when it is released after cash
loading.
3. Inspect the note pickup mechanism for foreign
objects before loading cash.

4. Load cash into the cassette. Please refer to the
warning label inside the cassette lid when loading
cash for additional information.
5. Insert cassette into HCDU by pushing it all the
way in until it slides and drops.
Removing Cash from the Cashbox
Follow these steps to remove cash from the Cashbox:
1. Remove cashbox from Bill Acceptor:
Hold the handle and pull straight out of
the bill acceptor.
Turn the cashbox upside down.

2. Lift lock up from rear corner, and pull the base
plate all the way back to its open position.
3. Remove cash through the open area.

Loading Receipt Paper
Follow these steps to load receipt paper into the LSK1500/1550:
1. Check the paper roll to ensure you have
the appropriate type of paper. The roll
should be 66mm in width and coated
side out (CSO).
2. Position the paper roll with a spindle on
top.

3. Pull the loose end of the paper to the
rear in clockwise direction.
4. Turn the paper around flexible shaft “A”
and move it forward.
5. Insert the tip of the paper into the printer
head and cutter module “B.”
6. The printer will feed the paper and
discharge after cutting.

Inserting Promotional Materials
The LSK1500/1550 includes 2 display panels for the marketing designs of your choice.
The G6000 candle and kiosk –Side A. The sheet size and laminate specs are as follows:
Sheet Size = (15.75" x 4.33") 400 * 110mm
View Area = (15.01" x 3.54") 381.2 * 90mm
The GK5000 Sidecar –Side B. The sheet size and laminate specs are as follows:
Sheet Size = (9.45" x 4.33") 240 * 110mm
View Area = (8.72" x 3.54") 221.5 * 90mm
Size Needed to Fit into Window = 145mm wide X 176mm high
Global Payments recommends printing on thin transparency film substrate such as Duratrans.
Dimmer Switch
Signage lights are located behind the two signage panels. On the back side of each panel is a blue dial dimmer
switch to increase or decrease the brightness of the lights.
Installing Graphics
To install graphics, remove the two screws on the panel, and drop the Duratrans graphic into the open slot
between the glass and the light box.
