the most complete contraction.
- Connect the device to one of the two plugs at the end of the cable for electrode connection of the Globus stimulator.
- Connect an electrode to the other plug to stimulate (chosen according to the size recommended for the treatment
that you plan to carry out).
- Place the electrode on the muscle area to be stimulated, as suggested in the section on positioning electrodes in
the operating manual of the stimulator.
- The area on which to apply the search for the motor point is the area corresponding to where it is recommended
the positioning of the other electrode. It is advisable to prepare the area by covering it with gel.
- Place the tip of the pen on a point of the area previously identified.
- Select the motor point pen program from the menu of the stimulator (alternatively, one of the warm-up programs).
- Raise the intensity of the channel on which the cable is connected. The recommended intensities are:
• 4-6 mA for the muscles of the upper limbs and trunk;
• 5-9 mA for the muscles of the lower limbs.
