Here’s what you need to know before we begin:
1. Do not look at the UV lamps directly in case the Godrej UV Case is switched on.
2. The UV Case must be installed in a dry place.
3. Refrain from using the case if found damaged during transit.
4. Improper electrical installation increases the risk of electrical shock. Check
the earthing before you plug in the UV Case.
5. Do not modify/ alter the design of the product.
6. Clean the UV case once in a month as dust can lower the UV output.
7. Ensure that the position of the UV lamp is not altered while cleaning.
8. Use a sponge or a soft cloth to clean the product.
9. Carefully read the maintenance instructions before removing the lamp from the
UV case.
10. Do not touch the lamp unless it has to be replaced.
11. Do not blow air directly into the lamp.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:

12. Keep out of reach of children.
13. Do not tamper with the door lock of the product.
14. Do not place anything on the case.
15. Do not pour hot water/ any other hot liquid on the surface of the product.
16. Do not touch the lamps immediately after switching off the product as
the high temperature of the lamp can cause severe burns if touched.
17. Do not operate the UV case control panel with wet hands.
Do not keep corrosive objects in the UV case.
Do not throw the accessories in a dustbin; dispose of them
in an eco-friendly manner.
In case of fire, unplug the Godrej UV Case & use a CO based

fire extinguisher. Do not use water for extinguishing electrical
fires. Contact the local authorities immediately if the fire is not
under control.

OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION
Model : UV Case 15L
Sanitisation time: 12 minutes
Loading capacity on tray - 2kg
Manually controlled
1. Connect the case to the AC mains. The On/Off switch on the control panel
makes the operation easier.
3. Close the lid and switch on the UV case.
2. Pull the knob to open the lid and put your objects like mobile phone, watches,
keys etc. inside the cabinet.
4. For best result, the recommended sanitisation time is 12 minutes.
5. Switch off the case after 12 mins.

3. Pull the knob to open the lid and put your objects like mobile phones, watches,
keys etc. inside the cabinet.
2. The UV Case has an in-built analog timer with the default time set to 5 minutes.
4. Close the lid and switch on the UV Case.
6. It is recommended to switch off the case using the power button before
opening the lid.
5. After 5 minutes, the UV Case switches off automatically. A beep is heard to notify
the user about the successful sanitization.

OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION
Model : UV Case 54L
Sanitisation time: 5 minutes
Loading Capacity on tray - 5Kg
Programmable timer
1. Connect the case to the AC mains. The programmable timer panel is located next
to the On/Off switch on the control panel.
2. The programmable time is set to 5 minutes by default. To reprogram the
sanitization time, simply press ‘+’ or ‘-’ button and set your customized time.
(Time can be set between 0.01 sec to 999 hrs)
6. For best results, the recommended sanitisation time is 5 minutes.
3. Pull the knob to open the lid and put your objects like mobile phones, watches,
keys etc. inside the cabinet. You can place multiple objects at once; ensure that
they are not kept on one another.
5. After 5 minutes, the UV Case switches off automatically. A beep is heard to notify
the user about the successful sanitization.
4. Close the lid and switch on the UV Case.

There is an auto cut-off for safety purposes. If the user opens the lid during the
sanitization process, the UV lamp goes off automatically.

Here’s what you need to keep in mind while installing the UV Case:

1. Always keep the UV Case over a proper levelled surface.
2. Ensure that all 4 base supports touch the surface properly.
3. Improper electrical installation increases the risk of an electrical shock.
Check the earthing before you plug in the UV case.
4. Keep out of reach from children.
Here are tips to maintain the UV case:

2. The shelf life of the UV lamp is 11,000 hours post which the lamp should be
replaced.
3. Always replace the faulty UV lamp with a certified lamp of the following
specifications only:
- Operating voltage: 230 V AC
- Wattage: 11W
- UV radiation: 253.7nm
4. Switch off the main power supply to remove the lamp from the product. Hold the
lamp that needs to be replaced and rotate it clockwise to pull it out gently.
5. Clean the case regularly for its consistent performance. 14

1. Should be repaired/ serviced by qualified personnel only.
2. Should be placed on a levelled surface.
3. The case has multiple switches/ indicators. Avoid tampering with
them.
4. Maintain the case in a clean condition.
5. Dispose off the replaced UV lamp in an eco-friendly manner.
6. Ensure the power socket is disconnected before cleaning the UV Case.
7. Ensure proper earthing practices before connecting the UV Case to the
mains.
DO’S

1. Do not try to operate the UV Case with the lid open. Do not tamper with the
safety lock of the lid.
2. Do not place the product on the edge of a surface.
3. Do not operate the UV Case if it is damaged. Ensure there is no damage
to the lid, hinges and the safety lock.
4. Do not place medicines inside the UV Case as it may be adversely affected
by the UV exposure.
5. Avoid eye contact with the UV lamp when the product is switched on.
6. Do not place batteries inside the UV case
7. Maintain the UV Case in a clean condition to avoid performance deterioration.
