CHARGING THE BATTERY
The unit is powered by its own built-in battery. Plug into power source via
USB-C cable to charge/recharge.
When the battery is low, the light indicator will be solid red.
When the battery is charging, the light indicator will blink red.
When the battery is fully charged, the light indicator will be solid white, and
the unit can be disconnected from the power source.
HOW TO USE
1. Wash soother (or small item to be sterilised)
toremove debris before sterilisation.
2. Place soother teat side up into unit
(refer to diagram a), then close the lid.
NOTE: This unit is only suitable for
sterilising 2 soothers at any one time.
3. Press the power button once and wait
49seconds, the 49s logo will be visible on the
screen. When sterilisation is complete the light
indicator will blink and automatically switch off.
4. Open lid and remove the items – with clean
hands.
IMPORTANT – if the lid is opened during a sterilisation cycle, the steriliser
cycle will need to begin again. Press the power button to switch off the
unit, then press the power button again to re-activate the sterilsation cycle.

• This appliance should not be used by children under the age of 16

reduced physical or sensory capabilities as long as they are under
supervision or after they have received instructions for the safe use of the

• Use the UV steriliser only for its intended use as described in this manual.
• Keep all components out of the reach of children. THIS IS NOT A TOY.
• Do not tug on the power cable, the steriliser or any of its components to
unplug from the wall.
• Never immerse or drop the steriliser or plug in water or any other liquids.
Keep the device dry - RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK.
• Do not attempt to disassemble the steriliser – RISK OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK.
• Before using the steriliser always check that all components are not
damaged. If damage is found do NOT use the product.
• Do not attempt to dismantle or repair the steriliser yourself.
• Never operate an electrical device if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it
is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped
into water.
• Do not place the appliance on or near hot surfaces or appliances such as
microwaves or ovens.
• Do not reach for any electrical device that has fallen into water.

• Do not pour water directly into the product.
• This appliance contains a UV emitter. Do not stare at the light source.
• Prolonged exposure can cause discomfort or retinal damage if the UV
light is directly stared at.
• UV LED radiation can cause serious skin burn and eye injury.
• Do not use this appliance with Latex items. Latex items can breakdown
and degrade when exposed to UV light.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before first use and after each use, clean all components thoroughly with
hot, soapy water. Wring excess water from the cloth before wiping the
appliance. After cleaning and before using for the first time, run a full 49
second cycle.
Do not use bleach, abrasive materials, abrasive solutions or scourers to
clean the product.
Before each use ensure that all items to be sterilised have been thoroughly
cleaned and roughly dried to remove water.
