IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
To prevent operator injury and damage to the equipment, please read and observe the
following basic safety precautions:
Warning: Read and understand all instructions before using.
1. Keep this manual with the unit at all times.
2. Service must be performed by qualied personnel.
3. Use only Goodway specied replacement parts.
4. Do not use tool if switch does not turn it off.
5. Store idle tool out of reach of children or untrained persons.
6. Use only Goodway specied charger.
7. Use only Goodway specied battery.
8. If the machine does not operate properly or has been damaged or exposed to
water, return it to factory for service.
9. Do not point light source directly into anyone’s eyes.
10. Hold the unit tightly to avoid causing damage to the unit or someone else.
11. Do not take out the SD card while taking pictures or recording videos. This can cause
damage to the display and/or SD card.
12. No not use in a hazardous environment or near hazardous or ammable substances.
13. Do not disassemble the machine. This can cause damage to the machine or an
electric shock.
14. Do not bend the exible probe more than 150 degrees.
15. Do not touch the lens of the probe after use as it can be too hot to touch after
extended use.
16. Do not expose the display or the probe to direct sunlight.
17. Do not operate this unit while charging the battery.

INSTALLATION
Connect the 10’ (3m) or 30’ (9,1m) probe that was purchased with the VS-B-DISPLAY
unit. Verify that the probe makes a good connection with the display, and that all
buttons operate properly. If any part does not function properly, please contact
Goodway Technologies at 1-800-370-2855.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Once the main screen is turned on, there will be a live image of what is seen by the
end of the probe. When the probe’s vision is in the desired location, press either:
1. Picture Key – Take a picture of the current screen image.
2. Record Video Key – Record a video.
EDITING THE SETTINGS
To go to the menu, press the OK button while on the preview screen. In the rst
screen, you will have the option to:
1. Turn sound on/off.
2. Turn the grid on the screen on/off.
3. Turn mirror mode on/off (This will ip the image along the vertical axis).
4. Change the factory set brightness/contrast.
4a. To adjust brightness or contrast, press the Record Video Key to choose
brightness or contrast.
5. Press OK on the option that needs to be adjusted.
6. Use the Up and Down keys to adjust the selected value.
7. Press OK when the settings are correct.
8. Press ESC to exit the settings.
VIEW IMAGES/RECORDED VIDEOS
While the display show preview mode, press the ESC key to enter the le list preview.
Use the Up and Down keys to select the le, then press OK to select the le.

HOW TO USE THE PLAY MENU
Once a le is selected, press the OK key again. That will bring you into the play menu.
The following options are available:
1. Delete current selection/all/select from the list
2. Slide Show 3 seconds/5 seconds/10 seconds
2a. This is only available when there are more than 2 images and videos saved.
3. Thumbnail list Execute/Cancel
3a. This will display the videos and the images in a 3x3 thumbnail view instead
of the list view with 3 options.
4. File list Execute/Cancel
4a. This will display the videos and the images in a list view with 3 options
instead of the 3x3 thumbnail view.
5. Volume 1-8
5a. The default for the volume level is 8.

HOW TO EDIT THE SETUP MENU OPTIONS
To access the Setup Menu, go to either the Play Menu or the Video Menu. Once in
the menu, press the Record Video Key to access the Setup Menu. In the Setup Menu,
the following will be available to edit:
1. Format Execute/Cancel
1a. This will reformat the display, deleting all saved changed to the menu
options and will delete all saved images and videos.
2. Language
3. Auto Off to 5/10/60 minutes or Off
4. System Reset Execute/Cancel
5. TV Output NTSC/PAL
6. Date Input Off/Set
6a. To set the date, select the set option. Once on the new screen, us the Picture
and Record Video keys to toggle between options, and use the Up and
Down keys to adjust the values. Then press OK to conrm settings.
7. USB PC-CAM/Disk Driver
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Before and after operation, wipe down the display and housing with a 75%
alcohol wipe. Store in a dry, well-ventilated area.
