Preparation
Fo ventilation, leave a space of at least 10
cm f ee all a ound the set. To p event any
fault and unsafe situations, please do not
place any objects on top of the set.

The eceive should be ope ated only f om a
230-240 V AC, 50 Hz. outlet. Ensu e you
select the co ect voltage setting fo you
convenience.

that it is not likely to be walked on o pinched
by items placed upon them o against it. Pay

Before Switching on your TV

 Connect the ae ial o cable TV plug to the
RF input socket located at the back of the TV
and connect the cable plug coming out f om
the TV out socket located at the devices
(VCR, DVB etc.) to this socket as well.
How to connect other dev ces
IMPORTANT: Switch off the TV befo e
connecting any exte nal device.
Socket fo exte nal connections a e at the
back and f ont of the TV. Fo connection of
othe devices via Eu oconnecto efe to the
manuals of the elated devices.
Insert ng batter es n the remote
control handset
 Place the batte ies in the ight di ections as
seen below.
 Remove the batte y cove located on the
back of the handset by gently pulling
upwa ds f om the indicated pa t.
 Inse t two MN2400 AAA o equivalent type
batte ies inside.
 Replace the batte y cove .
NOTE: Remove batteries from remote
control handset when it is not to be used for
a long period.Otherwise it can be damaged
due to any leakage of batteries.
Switching the TV ON/O
To sw tch the TV on
You TV will switch on in two steps:
1- P ess the powe button located on the f ont
of the TV. Then the TV switches itself to
standby mode and the RED LED located
below the TV tu ns on.
2- To switch on the TV f om stand-by mode
eithe :
P ess a digit button on the emote cont ol so
that a p og amme numbe is selected,
o ,
P ess P og amme Up o Down buttons on
the f ont of the TV o on the emote cont ol,
so that last switched off p og amme is
selected.
By eithe ways the TV will switch on and the
RED LED will tu n GREEN.
To sw tch the TV off
 P ess the stand-by button on the emote
cont ol, so the TV will switch to stand-by
mode and the GREEN LED will become
RED,
o ,
P ess the powe button located on the f ont
of the TV, so the TV will switch off and the
GREEN LED will tu n off.

appe on the sc een. In the p og amme list
you will see the p og amme numbe s and
names assigned to the p og ammes.
If you do not accept the locations and / o the
p og amme names of p og ammes, you
can change them in P og amme menu.

The emote cont ol handset of you TV is
designed to cont ol all the functions of the
model you selected. The functions will be
desc ibed in acco dance with the menu
system of you TV.

Volume Setting

volume level scale (slide ) will be displayed

Programme Selecting (direct access):
P ess digit buttons on the emote cont ol
handset to select p og ammes between 0
and 9. TV will switch to the selected
p og amme. To select p og ammes
between 10 - 99, you must use the double
digit button "- -".
this OSD is displayed at the left
hand uppe on the sc een.
Afte then, p ess the digit buttons
consecutively which p og amme you want to
select (eg. fo p og amme 27, fi st p ess 2
and then 7). When it is late to p ess any digit
button this function will be igno ed and the
display will be e ased. In the same way it
must not be late to p ess any digit button
afte ente ing the fi st digit. The limit of the
delay time is 3 seconds.

eselect single digit p og ammes.
Programme Swapping
 P ess "P<P" (p og amme swap) button to
select the last selected p og amme. This
button p ovides swapping between last two
selected p og ammes. Fo example, select
p og amme 8, then select p og amme 2.
Now, if you p ess "P<P" button, p og amme
8 will be selected. If you p ess the same
button again, p og amme 2 will be selected
and so on.
Menu System
You TV has been designed with a menu
system, to p ovide an easy manipulation of a
multi-function system. The TV is cont olled
by choosing the commands, which a e
displayed on the sc een.
P ess the " " button. The Main
menu will be displayed at the middle on the
sc een.
All the selected items in this menu system
is indicated with CYAN cha acte s and with
an a ow on the leftside of items.
To select a sub-menu use   o   button,
and p ess   o   button. Each option
can also be selected with the colou ed
button and "INFO " button on the emote
cont ol.
MAIN MENU
The menu system is desc ibed below.

Menu button has two functions; fi st is
opening o closing the "MAIN MENU", and
the second is closing the sub-menu and
then opening its pa ent menu.

To change sound settings
 Ente the Sound Menu di ectly, p essing the
Red button o ,
 As you ente the main menu, sound will be
the fi st selected option. In the main menu,
select SOUND using   o   button, then

Setting Effect
You can use this featu e to switch the sound
effect on and off. P essing   o   button
will tu n on and off this featu e. If the cu ent
sound system is MONO and the sound
effect is set ON, then the sound will be hea d
as if it is STEREO. If the cu ent sound
system is STEREO, switching this effect on
will make the sound deepe . Switching it off
will make no change in MONO and STEREO.

In MODE item the e a e five p edefined and
one use defined options. These a e USER,
CLASSIC, JAZZ, ROCK, POP and FLAT. The
p edefined options can not be changed by
the use . If you change one of the f equency
values of the p edefined options, the MODE
is switched automatically to USER option.
The USER option may be adjusted by the
use .
The 5 items below the MODE a e available
to adjust the sound settings in
5 f equency values: 120 Hz, 500 Hz, 1.5 kHz,
5 kHz and 10 kHz. To change the values of
5 f equency options, select one of the
options by   o   button, and then p ess
 to inc ease the value, o   to
dec ease the value. In mid position, cu so
is displayed with the two ecip ocal a ows.
To sto e the Equalize settings, p ess   o
 button on STORE option.
Du ing the sto e p ocess all the items a e
sto ed, mo eove , the USER mode
info mation would not be lost. In othe
wo ds, when the use mode is selected
again, afte sto ing the MODE with one of the
p edefined options, the use definde
f equency values would be set.
To Change Headphone Sound Settings
P essing   o   button on HEADPHONE,
ente the Headphone menu. This is a sub-
menu of Sound menu, and all options in this
menu a e wo king as the same in the
Sound menu.

 As you ente the Headphone sound menu,

In case of bilingual b oadcast, you can
select o iginal o dubbed language again
using mode menu. So when somebody
listens to the o iginal language f om the
loudspeake s, somebody else can listen to
the dubbed language f om headphone.
To Store the Settings
 Using   o   button select Sto e. P ess

headphone volume and balance. The
sto ed values will be valid fo all the
p og ammes.

 As you ente the pictu e menu, B ightness
will be the fi st selected option.

Mode
This item is used to change the pictu e size.
By p essing   o   button you may
choose one of these options: 4:3, 16:9,
14:9, Cinema, Subtitle and AUTO. It is
also possible to change pictu e modes
di ectly by p essing button   on you
emote cont ol.
 4:3 This option fo ces the pictu e atio to 4:3
mode.
 16:9 This option fo ces the pictu e atio to
16:9 mode.
 14:9 This option fo ces the pictu e atio to
14:9 mode.
 Cinema This option fo ces the pictu e atio
to Cinema mode.
 Subtitle This option fo ces the pictu e atio
to Subtitle mode.
 AUTO This allows to change the pictu e
mode automatically, acco ding to the
t ansmission of the selected channel. Fo
example, you TV is 4:3 mode, but the
t ansmission of that channel is in 16:9
mode. If you select the AUTO mode, the TV
is switched to 16:9 mode automatically. If the
TV is in 4:3 mode and the pictu e atio of the
channel is also 4:3, the e will be no affect
selecting the pictu e mode to AUTO mode.
WSS featu e is only used in TV and FAV /
BAV modes. Fo the Pictu e Mode selection
in AV1 and AV2 the pin 8 (of Sca t) value is
used. In RGB and S-VHS modes the Pictu e
Mode can be 4:3, 16:9, 14:9, Cinema,
Subtitle. (Auto mode is not available.).
When the menu appea s on sc een, pictu e
mode will automatically change to its default
tube mode (4:3 o 16:9) but it will tu ned to
its sto ed mode when the menu
disappea s.

To Store the Settings

Feature Menu
 To ente the Featu e menu di ectly, p ess the
YELLOW button, o
 P ess " " button, now you a e in
Main menu. In the Main menu, select
FEATURE using   o   button. Then
ente the Featu e menu p essing   o  
button.
Sleep Timer
As you ente the Featu e menu, SLEEP
TIMER will be the fi st selected option. Use
 o   button to change the Sleep Time
values between OFF, 0:15:00, 0:30:00,
0:45:00, 1:00:00, 1:15:00, 1:30:00, 1:45:00
and 2:00:00.
It is displayed on the uppe ight of the
sc een. If sleep time is activated it is
displayed with the TV status and e ased with
it afte 3 seconds.

If the e is left only one minute of the down
counting of the time , it is displayed
automatically on the uppe ight of the
sc een, and stayed the e until finishing.
Then TV goes automatically to stand-by.
Child Lock

above). NAME allows changing the
p og amme name. By DELETE you can

selecting AUTOSTORE section, A.P.S. menu
will be available.
To change the name of a decided
p og amme, that p og amme is selected
and p essed to the RED button (NAME). The
fi st lette begins to blank on the selected
name. To change that lette   o   button
can be used, and to select the othe lette s,
 o   button can be used. If the cu so
is at the last lette of the P og amme Name,
p essing   button moves the cu so at the
beginning. On the cont a y, if the cu so is at
the beginning of the P og amme Name,

Afte changing the name by p essing the
RED button (STORE) it is sto ed. Afte
activating the name p ocess the INSERT,
DELETE and AUTOSTORE p ocesses will
be inactive and "CANCEL" option will be
valid. This option cancels the name
p ocess, if the new name do not want to be
sto ed.
When it is p essed to GREEN button
(INSERT), "NAME", "AUTOSTORE" and
"DELETE" functions a e e ased, the selected
p og amme (A) is displayed with g een
cha acte s. F om now on, the automatic
selection is canceled. Cu so s moves a e
indicated with CYAN cha acte s. With
navigation buttons, the decided p og am
space (B) can be selected and by p essing
the g een button again inse ting is occu ed
to that space (B).
"CANCEL" function cancels the activated

late to p ess any digit button afte ente ing
the fi st digit. The limit of the delay time is 3
seconds.
Personal Preferences (PP)
All the p eset values will be esto ed, when
p essing "PP".
Sound Ind cator
This is a ste eo option. The alte natives of
the indicato a e Mono, Ste eo, Dual I and
Dual II. This indicato is displayed unde the

Sleep T mer Last M nute Ind cator
It is displayed on the uppe ight of the
sc een. If sleep time is activated it is
displayed with the TV status and e ased with
it afte 3 seconds.
If the e is left only one minute of the down
counting of the time , it is displayed
automatically on the uppe left of the sc een,
and stayed the e until finishing. Then TV
goes automatically to stand-by.
Mute Ind cator
It is placed in the uppe middle of the sc een
when enabled, and it stays the e until it is
disabled.
To cancel mute, the e is two alte native; the
fi st one is p essing to " " button, thus
volume is set to the p eceding value, and the
second one is inc easing the volume level,
thus it sta ts at the minimum level to
inc ease. By dec easing the volume level in
mute state, mute will not be igno ed, only the
volume level will dec ease. If mute canceled
afte dec easing the volume level, the
volume will valid with the dec eased level.
No-S gnal
No-Signal Timer Indicator
It is displayed in the middle of the sc een
when no valid signal detected. It shows the
emained time fo the switching to the
Stand-By mode (it takes 5 minutes when
any signal detected o no any Remote
Cont ol command is accessed). The
indicato is displayed in 3 seconds when
the e is no valid signal.
Afte an Remote Cont ol command (if No-
Signal Time is active) the time stops and if
no signal detected again the time is
initialized to 5 minutes and sta ts 3 seconds
late again to count down.
It is not valid in AV mode.
Blue Background Dur ng No-S gnal
In case, no valid signal is detected (in AV
mode) Blue Backg ound is activated.Du ing
sea ch p ocess Blue Backg ound is not
active. But instead of it the e is anothe
featu e given; the semi-t anspa ent menu
backg ound is made blue.
Volume Bar
It is displayed in the lowe middle of the
sc een. When a volume command is
eceived (p essing V+ o V- by Remote
Cont ol o F ont panel) and no menu is
active, it stays on the sc een fo 3 seconds,
afte the last volume command o until
anothe command is eceived in between.
