This system is a HDMI video demo for 90-degree rotation based on
DK-VIDEO-GW2A18-PG484. The 1280*720 video signal is sent to the
development board via the HDMI interface on the PC host and received by
the development board via the HDMI1 RX interface. The video signal is
then converted to RGB data format by ADV7611 HDMI chip and sent to
FPGA. The FPGA first rotate the video data by 90 degrees, and then
caches the video data to DDR3, and at last sends it to the display screen
through ADV7513 HDMI chip.
Connection Mode
1. Connect the PC host and the HDMI1 interface of the development
board using a HDMI cable.
2. Connect the PC screen and the HDMI2 interface of the development
board using the other HDMI cable.
3. Connect the PC and the development board using a USB Mini-B cable.
4. Connect to12V power supply.
5. Set MODE to“000” , turn on the power switch.
6. Download the FPGA running program. The LED2 on the development
board blinks after the download is complete.
7. Turn on the PC/laptop and the displayer and set the resolution of video
output as 1080*720. After rotating through the FPGAon the
development board, the resolution displayed on the screen is
1280*720.
8. Adjust the rotation direction as clockwise or counterclockwise by SW1.
