SAFETY GUIDELINES - PLEASE READ BEFORE USE
• DO NOT use this product without rst completely reading and
understanding these instructions and any additional instructional
material such as owner’s manuals, service manuals or instruction
sheets supplied with this product. If you are unable to understand the
warnings, cautions or instructions, contact a healthcare professional,
dealer or technical personnel before attempting to use this equipment -
otherwise, injury or damage may occur.
• Users with limited physical capabilities should be supervised or
assisted when using the commode.
• This product has a maximum weight capacity of 300lbs - EVENLY
DISTRIBUTED.
• GF Health Products, Inc. assumes no responsibility for any damage or
injury caused by improper installation, assembly, or use of this product.
• Leg extensions with rubber tips MUST be in contact with the oor at all
times.
• Ensure that the push buttons fully protrude through the same height
adjustment hole of each leg extension. This ensures that the leg
extensions are securely locked in position and that an even height
adjustment is achieved.
• Make sure that all attaching hardware, screws, nuts and/or bolts are
tight at all times.
• Inspect rubber tips on the leg extensions for rips, tears, cracks or wear
or if they are missing. Replace them IMMEDIATELY if any of these
conditions exist.
• The commode seat MUST be installed before sitting on the commode.
• If components are damaged or missing, contact your GF Health
Products, Inc. distributor immediately.

MAINTENANCE
• Use a mild soap and water solution, rinse with clear water, then dry with
a soft cloth. Ensure that product is well rinsed before using.
• Never use organic solvents, abrasive cleaners, or scouring pads on any
part of the product.
• Check t and tightness of all nuts, bolts and knobs weekly to ensure
that product is safe to use.
• To guarantee the best service from your product, always specify
Lumex replacement parts, available from your GF Health Products, Inc.
authorized distributor.

SETUP
1. Remove frame, seat, lid, pail, cover, and splash shield from carton.
2. Attach seat and then lid to rear support of frame. Place splash shield
or pail and cover in frame.
NOTE: When installing the seat onto the frame, make sure that the seat is
evenly spaced between the side frames to ensure proper stability.
NOTE: Push down firmly until the seat snaps into place.
NOTE: DO NOT use excessive force when installing the seat and lid.
ADJUSTING LEG HEIGHT
1. Depress the height adjustment button and slide the lower leg upward
or downward until the height adjustment button is fully engaged in the
desired hole.
NOTE: An audible “click” will be heard.
2. Repeat for other 3 legs.
CAUTION: Ensure that all four commode legs are adjusted to the
same height, and that all height adjustment buttons protrude fully
through adjustment holes before use.
REMOVE BACK SUPPORT
1. If it is desired to remove the back support, use a Phillips-head
screwdriver to remove the two attachment screws.
USING COMMODE OVER TOILET
1. Set commode to desired height (described in previous steps).
2. Remove commode pail and lid.
3. Position splash shield in place onto pail supports.
4. Remove back support (described in previous steps).
5. Lift toilet bowl seat.
6. Place commode over toilet with splash shield positioned over the
center of the toilet bowl. Commode is now ready for use. Clean seat
and splash guard with disinfectant after each use.

USING AS BEDSIDE COMMODE
1. Set commode to desired height (described in previous steps).
2. Lift commode seat and lid and place Commode pail onto pail supports.
Ensure that pail is properly positioned below commode opening.
3. Place commode seat down. Commode is now ready for use.
4. When user is nished using commode, place commode pail lid over
commode pail to contain odors.
5. Remove pail and lid simultaneously to empty pail. Clean seat and pail
with disinfectant after each use.

LIMITED WARRANTY
GF Health Products, Inc. (“GF”) warrants this product to be free from defects in
materials and workmanship to the original retail purchaser or original lessee only
(“Customer”) for:
Frame: ve (5) years
Tips, Wheels/Casters, and Handgrips: three (3) months
The warranty does not cover: 1) other non-durable components; 2) defects,
damage or other conditions caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration,
accident, freight damage, tampering or failure to seek and obtain repair or
replacement in a timely manner; and 3) products not installed, used, or properly
cleaned and maintained in accordance with the applicable GF instructions.
Product provided to a lessee must be inspected prior to delivery and must be
maintained by the Dealer. The lessee must be properly trained on the operation
and safety of this product prior to use.
GF will, at its option, repair or replace the defective product. Warranty issues
must: 1) be reported to the Dealer from whom the Customer purchased the
product within the applicable warranty period and 2) upon examination by
GF or its authorized representative, prove to be a warranty item. GF is not
responsible for freight or labor charges associated with the warranted item.

will be provided.
TO THE GREATEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY IS GF’S
ONLY WARRANTY AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED. EXCEPT IN CASES WHERE IMPLIED WARRANTIES MAY NOT
BE VALIDLY WAIVED, GF MAKES NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. GF’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR THIS PRODUCT
IS LIMITED TO THE COST OF THE PRODUCT(S) GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
IN NO EVENT WILL GF BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, SPECIAL, INDIRECT,
INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. CERTAIN
LAWS MAY CONFER ADDITIONAL RIGHTS REGARDING WARRANTIES FOR
SPECIFIC PRODUCTS AND IN THOSE INSTANCES GF’S LIABILITY AND THE
LIABILITY OF GF’S SUPPLIERS, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT
PERMITTED BY LAW. This warranty gives you specic legal rights. You may also
have other rights, which vary from state to state or country to country.

MANTENIMIENTO
• Utilice una solución de jabón suave y agua, enjuague con agua limpia y

parte de este inodoro.
• Cheque seminalmente que los tornillos y perillas están apretados para
asegurar que el inodoro esta bueno para utilizar.

MONTAJE
1. Saque el marco, asiento, tapa, balde, tapa del balde y el escudo de
salpicadura del cartón.
2. Sujeta el asiento y después la tapa al soporte trasero del marco.
Coloque el escudo de salpicadura o el balde con tapa en el marco.
Nota: Cuando estas instalando el asiento en el marco, asegurase que el
asiento esta puesto dentro el centro de los marcos del lado para asegurar
estabilidad apropiado.
Nota: Apreté firmemente hasta que el asiento se asegurar en puesto.
Nota: NO utilice esfuerzo excesivo cuando instalando el asiento y la tapa.
AJUSTANDO LA ALTURA DEL INODORO
1. Apriete el botón de ajustamiento de altura y deslice la parta inferior de
la pata hacia arriba y abajo hasta que el botón de ajustamiento esta
asegurado en el hueco deseado
Nota: Se oye un “clic” cuando esta puesto.
2. Repita para las otras 3 patas.
CAUCION: Asegure que todas cuatros patas están ajustados a la
misma altura y que todos los botones de ajustamiento sobresalen por
los huecos de ajustamiento antes de uso.
REMOVER EL SOPORTE DE ESPALDA
1. Si es deseado remover el suporte de la espalda, utilice un destornillador
de cabeza- Phillips para remover los tornillos.
UTILIZAR EL INODORO SOBRE EL INODORO DE CASA
1. Ajuste el inodoro a la altura deseada (describido en los pasos anteriores)
2. Retira el balde y la tapa del inodoro.
3. Posicione el escudo de salpicadura en sitio en los suportes de balde.
4. Retira el soporte de espalda (describido en los pasos anteriores)
5. Levante el asiento de la taza de servicio
6. Ponga el inodoro sobre la taza de servicio con el escude de
salpicadura sobre el centro de la taza de servicio. El inodoro esta
listo para utilizar. Limpie el asiento y el escude de salpicadura con
desinfectante después de cada uso.

UTILIZAR COMO INODORO DE USO DE DORMITORIO
1. Ajuste el inodoro a la altura deseada (describido en los pasos anteriores)
2. Levante el asiento y la tapa y ponga el balde del inodoro en
los soportes del balde. Asegure que el balde esta posicionado
apropiadamente debajo de la abertura del inodoro.
3. Ponga el asiento del inodoro abajo. El Inodoro esta listo para uso.
4. Cuando has terminado de usar el inodoro, ponga la tapa del balde
para contener olor.
5. Retira el balde y la tapa al mismo tiempo para vaciar el balde. Limpie
el asiento y balde con desinfectante después de cada uso.
