SAFETY GUIDELINES - PLEASE READ BEFORE USE
• DO NOT install or use this equipment without rst reading and
understanding these instructions. If you are unable to understand the
Warnings, Cautions or Instructions, contact a healthcare professional,
dealer or technical personnel before attempting to use this equipment -
otherwise, injury or damage may occur.
• Item has a maximum weight capacity of 600 lb - EVENLY DISTRIBUTED.
• GF Health Products, Inc. assumes no responsibility for any damage or
injury caused by improper installation, assembly or use of this product.
• ALWAYS inspect the bath seat to ensure that it is properly positioned
and stable before using. DO NOT use if bath seat is wobbly or unstable.
• If components are damaged or missing, contact your GF Health
Products, Inc. distributor immediately. DO NOT use substitute parts.
• Check leg tips for rips, tears, cracks or wear. If any of these conditions
exist, replace leg tips IMMEDIATELY.
• DO NOT use this as a transfer bench or climbing device.
• To avoid falling or tipping: Have someone help you until you know the
balance points of your Bath Seat and how to avoid tipping. Do not put
downward weight on one side or corner of the Bath Seat. Do not put
downward weight on the backrest. Do not reach or lean if you must shift
your weight to do so. Ask for help or use a device to extend your reach.
Never try to reach an object if you must move forward in your seat and
your buttocks does not stay in full contact with the seat. Never lean
backward to reach an object.
• All four leg tips MUST be in contact with shower/tub oor at all times.
• Ensure that the four chair legs are adjusted to the same height and that
the push buttons fully protrude through their respective adjustment
holes BEFORE use.
• Only use GF Health Products, Inc. accessories with this product.
• This product should only be used with tub oors wider than 18 ¾ inches.
• Users with limited physical capabilities must be supervised or assisted
when using the bath seat.
• Make certain ALL screws and nuts are tight at all times.
• DO NOT submerge product in water, otherwise damage may result.

MAINTENANCE
• Use a mild soap and water solution, rinse with clear water, then dry with
a soft cloth. Ensure that product is well rinsed before using.
• Never use organic solvents, abrasive cleaners, or scouring pads on any
part of the product.
• Check t and tightness of all nuts, bolts and knobs weekly to ensure
that product is safe to use.
• To guarantee the best service from your product, always specify
Lumex replacement parts, available from your GF Health Products, Inc.
authorized distributor.

INSTALLING THE BACK (ONLY FOR 7939A)
1. Place bath seat on its side on a at working surface.
2. Locate the channel guides (4 each) on underside of seat. Align
backrest support tubes with channel guides.
3. Slide backrest seat support tubes through channel guides until seat
support tube push buttons protrude fully through channel guide holes.
NOTE: Ensure seat support tube buttons protrude fully through channel
guide holes.
CAUTION:Backrest is not designed to support the full weight of the user.
ADJUSTING LEG HEIGHT
Legs are already installed on the bath seat.
To adjust leg height:
1. Press push button and slide leg extension up or down to desired
adjustment hole.
2. Ensure push button fully protrudes through the leg adjustment holes of
the leg extension.
NOTE: An audible “click” will be heard.
3. Repeat STEPS 1 and 2 for the other three legs.
NOTE: Ensure all four legs are adjusted to the same height and that all
height adjustment buttons protrude fully through the adjustment holes
before use.

LIMITED WARRANTY
GF Health Products, Inc. (“GF”) warrants to the original retail purchaser or
lessee (either is the “Customer”) only, that it will replace or repair components,
at GF’s sole discretion, that are defective in material or workmanship under
normal use and service. The warranty is for parts only and does not include
labor or costs of shipping. All warranties are conditioned upon the proper
use of the product strictly in accordance with applicable GF instructions.
Product provided to users as rentals must be serviced by the provider
and inspected prior to delivery. Each user must be properly trained on the
operation and safety of this product prior to use. Within the guidelines set
forth in this document, the frame is warranted for ve (5) years and the normal
wear components such as tips, wheels/casters, and handgrips are warranted
for three (3) months. The applicable warranty period shall commence from
date of shipment to the Customer, unless there is an expiration date on
the component in which case the warranty shall expire on the earlier of the
warranty period or the expiration date.
OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE
This limited warranty shall only apply to defects that are reported to
the Dealer from whom the Customer purchased the product within the
applicable warranty period. If there is not a Dealer, you must contact GF
directly by calling [phone], sending a fax request to [phone]
or by e-mailing a request to cs@grahamfield.com. Specic directions will
be provided by the Customer Service Representative.
EXCLUSIONS
The warranty does not cover and GF shall not be liable for the following:
1) Defects, damage, or other conditions caused by misuse, abuse,
negligence, alteration, accident, freight damage, tampering or failure to seek
and obtain repair or replacement in a timely manner; 2) Products not installed,
used, or properly cleaned and maintained; and 3) Labor or shipping charges.
Other exclusions apply. Additional limitations relative to this warranty may be
found on www.grahameld.com Terms and Conditions page.
State laws governing the warranty of this product may provide more
expanded rights than those set forth in this warranty.
ENTIRE WARRANTY, EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AND CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES DISCLAIMER
THIS WARRANTY IS GF’S ONLY WARRANTY AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL
OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

GARANTIA LIMITADA
GF Health Products, Inc. (“GF”) garantía al comprador original o
arrendatario (cual quiera is el “Cliente”) solamente, que va reemplazar
o reparar componentes, a la decisión solo de GF, cuales son defectos
en material o calidad utilizado normalmente y con servicio. La garantía
es para partes solamente y no incluye fuerza laboral o el costo de
transporte. Todas garantías con condicionales por el uso apropiado del

Producto próvido a usuarios como réntales deben ser serviciados por
el proveedor y inspeccionado antes de entrega. Cada usuario debe ser
preparado en la operación y seguridad de este producto antes de uso.
Dentro las reglas normales en este documento, la estructura tiene garantía
por cinco (5) anos y los componentes de uso normal como puntas, ruedas
y manijas tienen garantía por tres (3) meses. El periodo de garantía se

EXCLUSIONES

incline si debe cambiar su peso para hacerlo. Pida ayuda o utilizar un
dispositivo para ampliar su alcance. Nunca trate de alcanzar un objeto si
tiene que seguir adelante en su silla y los glúteos no se quedan en pleno
contacto con la silla. Nunca se incline hacia atrás para llegar a un objeto.

MANTENIMIENTO
• Utilice una solución de jabón suave y agua, enjuague con agua limpia y
seca con una toalla suave. Asegure que el inodoro esta enjuagado bien

• Nunca utilice solventes orgánicos, limpiadores abrasivos en cual quiere
parte de este inodoro.
• Cheque seminalmente que los tornillos y perillas están apretados para

INSTALANDO EL RESPALDO (SOLAMENTE PARA 7921A-4)
1. Coloque la silla de bañera en su lado en un supercie de trabajar nivel.
2. Localice las guías de canal (4) abajo del asiento. Alinea los tubos de
soporte del respaldo con las guías de canal.
3. Deslice los tubos de soporte del respaldo dentro de las guías de canal
hasta que los botones de apretar sobresalen completamente por los
huecos de las guías de canal.
NOTA: Asegure que los botones del tubo de suporte del respaldo sobre-
salen completamente por los huecos de las guías de canal.
CAUCIÓN:El respaldo no es diseñado soportar todo el peso del usuario.
ADJUSTING LEG HEIGHT
Las patas vienen instaladas en la silla de bañera.
Para ajustar la altura:
1. Apreté el botón y deslice la extensión de pata hacia arriba o abajo al
hueco de ajustamiento deseado.
2. Asegure que el botón sobresale completamente por los huecos de
ajustamiento de la extensión de pata.
NOTA: Un “clic” audible se oye cuando el botón de apretar sobresale
completamente por el hueco de ajustamiento.
3. Repite PASOS 1 y 2 para las otras tres patas.
NOTA: Asegure que todas 4 patas están ajustadas a la misma altura y que
