SAFETY GUIDELINES - PLEASE READ BEFORE USE
• DO NOT use this product without rst completely reading and
understanding these instructions and any additional instructional
material such as owner’s manuals, service manuals or instruction
sheets supplied with this product. If you are unable to understand the
warnings, cautions or instructions, contact a healthcare professional,
dealer or technical personnel before attempting to use this equipment -
otherwise, injury or damage may occur.
• Users with limited physical capabilities should be supervised or
assisted when using the transfer bench.
• Maximum Weight Capacity 600 lb - EVENLY DISTRIBUTED.
• GF Health Products, Inc. assumes no responsibility for any damage or
injury caused by improper installation, assembly or use of this product.
• Leg extensions with rubber tips MUST be in contact with the oor at
all times.
• Make sure that all attaching hardware is tight at all times.
• Inspect rubber tips on the leg extensions for rips, tears, cracks or wear
or if they are missing. Replace them IMMEDIATELY if any of these
conditions exist.
• The transfer bench seat MUST be installed before sitting on the
transfer bench.
• If components are damaged or missing, contact your GF Health
Products, Inc. distributor immediately. DO NOT use substitute parts.

MAINTENANCE
• Use a mild soap and water solution, rinse with clear water, then dry with
a soft cloth. Ensure that product is well rinsed before using.
• Never use organic solvents, abrasive cleaners, or scouring pads on any
part of the product.
• Check t and tightness of all nuts, bolts and knobs weekly to ensure
that product is safe to use.
• To guarantee the best service from your product, always specify
Lumex replacement parts, available from your GF Health Products, Inc.
authorized distributor.

SETUP
1. Remove frame and back from box.
2. Place frame on side on a working surface.
3. Attach the leg extensions to the transfer bench, if not attached already.
Depress the buttons and slide the legs onto the frame until the buttons
protrude fully from the desired holes.
ATTACHING THE BACKREST (IF NOT ATTACHED ALREADY)
1. Determine the side on which the backrest should be mounted by knowing
which direction the user will face when sitting on the bench in the tub.
2. Position the bench upright on a level surface.
3. Locate the channel guides (4 each) on underside of seat. Align
backrest support tubes with channel guides in position appropriate to
step 1.
4. Slide backrest seat support tubes through channel guides until seat
support tube push buttons protrude fully through channel guide holes.
CAUTION: Backrest is not designed to support the full weight of the user.
ADJUSTING LEG HEIGHT
1. Depress the height adjustment button and slide the lower leg upward
or downward until the height adjustment button clicks into place in the
desired hole.
2. Repeat for other 3 legs.
CAUTION: Ensure that all four legs are adjusted to the same height.
USING YOUR TRANSFER BENCH
NOTE: Be sure to move slowly throughout use to prevent injuries.
NOTE: Children or those who need assistance should NOT be left
unattended during use of this product.
From a seated position (such as a wheelchair):
1. Place your wheelchair next to the bench, facing the front of the bathtub.
2. Engage wheelchair locks.
3. Transfer your torso to the transfer bench rst, and then lift your legs
into the tub. Move slowly to prevent injuries.
4. After bathing, lift your legs out of the tub rst, then your torso.

From a standing position:
1. Sit on the side of the transfer bench that is outside of the tub.
2. Extend your arms to grab the support arm of the bench and slide your
body over onto the bench. Lift each leg over the tub slowly.
3. Position yourself to a comfortable position in center of bench.
4. After bathing, lift your legs out of the tub rst, then your torso slowly.

LIMITED WARRANTY
GF Health Products, Inc. (“GF”) warrants this product to be free from defects in
materials and workmanship to the original retail purchaser or original lessee only
(“Customer”) for:
Frame: ve (5) years
Tips, Wheels/Casters, and Handgrips: three (3) months
The warranty does not cover: 1) other non-durable components; 2) defects,
damage or other conditions caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration,
accident, freight damage, tampering or failure to seek and obtain repair or
replacement in a timely manner; and 3) products not installed, used, or properly
cleaned and maintained in accordance with the applicable GF instructions.
Product provided to a lessee must be inspected prior to delivery and must be
maintained by the Dealer. The lessee must be properly trained on the operation
and safety of this product prior to use.
GF will, at its option, repair or replace the defective product. Warranty issues
must: 1) be reported to the Dealer from whom the Customer purchased the
product within the applicable warranty period and 2) upon examination by
GF or its authorized representative, prove to be a warranty item. GF is not
responsible for freight or labor charges associated with the warranted item.

will be provided.
TO THE GREATEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY IS GF’S
ONLY WARRANTY AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED. EXCEPT IN CASES WHERE IMPLIED WARRANTIES MAY NOT
BE VALIDLY WAIVED, GF MAKES NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. GF’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR THIS PRODUCT
IS LIMITED TO THE COST OF THE PRODUCT(S) GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
IN NO EVENT WILL GF BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, SPECIAL, INDIRECT,
INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. CERTAIN
LAWS MAY CONFER ADDITIONAL RIGHTS REGARDING WARRANTIES FOR
SPECIFIC PRODUCTS AND IN THOSE INSTANCES GF’S LIABILITY AND THE
LIABILITY OF GF’S SUPPLIERS, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT
PERMITTED BY LAW. This warranty gives you specic legal rights. You may also
have other rights, which vary from state to state or country to country.

MANTENIMIENTO
• Utilice una solución de jabón suave y agua, enjuague con agua limpia y

ESTABLECERSE
1. Quite el marco y la espalda de la caja
2. Coloque el marco en el lado en una supercie de trabajo.
3. Conecte extensiones de la pierna a la banca la transferencia, si no
está colocada ya. Presione los botones y deslice las patas sobre
el marco hasta que los botones sobresalen completamente por los
huecos. de altura apropiada.
COLOCAR EL RESPALDO
1. Determine el lado en que se debe montar el respaldo por saber la dirección
en que el usuario se enfrentará al sentarse en el banco en la tina.
2. Coloque el banco vertical en una supercie nivel.
3. Busque las guías de canal (4) en la parte inferior del asiento. Alinee los
tubos de soporte del respaldo con las guías de canal en una posición
adecuada para el paso 1.
4. Deslice el apoyo del respaldo tubos del asiento a través de guías de
canal hasta que de soporte del asiento pulsadores tubo sobresalen
completamente a través de los agujeros guía de canales.
CAUCIÓN: El respaldo no es diseñado soportar todo el peso del usuario.
AJUSTE DE ALTURA DE LAS PATAS
1. Apriete el botón de ajustamiento de altura y deslice la parta inferior de
la pata hacia arriba y abajo hasta que el botón de ajustamiento esta
asegurado en el hueco deseado.
NOTA: Se oye un “clic” cuando esta puesto.
2. Repita para las otras 3 patas.
CAUCIÓN: Asegure que todas cuatros patas están ajustados a la misma
altura y que todos los botones de ajustamiento sobresalen por los huecos
de ajustamiento antes de uso.
UTILIZANDO SU BANCO DE TRANSFERIR
NOTA: Asegure moverse despacio durante uso para prevenir heridas.

De la posición sentado (como una silla de rudas):
1. Ponga su silla de rueda al lado al banco hacia la parte de frente de la
