3Installation

Points to be considered
when re-transporting your
refrigerator
1. Your refrigerator must be
emptied and cleaned prior to any
transportation.
2. Shelves, accessories, and etc.
have to be fastened securely by

3. Packaging must be tied with thick
tapes and strong ropes and the
rules of transportation printed on the
package must be followed.

you can get further information from
the environmental bodies or local
authorities.
Before operating your
refrigerator

5IFJOUFSJPSPGUIFGSFF[FSIBTUPCFdry and it is possible for the air to
circulate freely at the back of the
appliance.
2. You can install the 2 spacers as
showed in the illustration. The spacers
will provide the required distance
between your refrigerator and the wall
in order to allow the air to circulate.
(The illustration is only an example
and does not match exactly with your
product.)
3. Plug the refrigerator into the outlet.
When the door is open the interior light in
the refrigerator compartment will be
switched on.
4. You will hear a noise as the
compressor starts up. The liquid and
gases sealed inside the refrigeration
system may also give rise to noise,
even if the compressor is not running
and this is quite normal.
5. The front edges of the refrigerator
may feel warm. This is normal. These
areas are designed to be warm to
avoid condensation.

Connect your product to a grounded
socket which is protected by a fuse
with the appropriate capacity.

refrigerator
Dispose of your old refrigerator without

Placing and installation
1. There must be appropriate air
ventilation around your refrigerator in
order to achieve an efficient operation.
2. Place your refrigerator on an even

ambient temperatures under 10°C.
Adjusting the legs
If your refrigerator is unbalanced
you can balance your refrigerator by
turning the front legs as shown in the
illustration below. The corner where
the leg exists is lowered when you turn
it in the direction of the black arrow
and raised when you turn it in the
opposite direction. Getting help from
someone to slightly lift the refrigerator
will facilitate this process.
Changing the door opening
direction
Door opening direction of your
refrigerator can be changed according

The ambient temperature of the room
where you install your refrigerator
should at least be 10°C. Operating
your refrigerator under cooler
conditions this is not recommended
with regard to its efficiency.
Please make sure that the interior
of your refrigerator is cleaned
thoroughly.
If you want to place two products
side by side, e.g. a refrigerator and
BGSFF[FSBTBTJEFCZTJEFTPMVUJPOyou have to use a decoration kit
which contains a small mat and a
decoration part. The mat is mounted
on the side of one of the products
to create a space between the
products. The decoration part is
placed between the products to hide
the gap between the products (Fig.
2). The decoration kit is not a part of
the product but can be delivered as
an accessory.
4Preparation
When you operate your refrigerator
for the first time, please observe the
following instructions during the initial
six hours.
- The door should not be opened
frequently.
- It must be operated empty without
any food in it.
- Do not unplug your refrigerator . If
a power failure occurs out of your
control, please see the warnings in
UIFi3FDPNNFOEFETPMVUJPOTGPSthe problems” section.
Original packaging and foam
materials should be kept for future
transportations or moving.
Clean the interior of the refrigerator

5Using your refrigerator
1. SuperCool Function:
The SuperCool indicator is turned on
when the SuperCool function is on.
Touch the SuperCool sensor again to
cancel this function. The SuperCool
indicator will be turned off and the
normal settings will be resumed. The
SuperCool function will be cancelled
automatically 34 hours later if you do
not cancel it manually. If you want to
cool a large amount of fresh food,
press the SuperCool sensor before
placing the food in the refrigerator.
If you press the SuperCool sensor
repeatedly with short intervals, the
electronic circuit protection will be
activated and the compressor will not
start up immediately.
2. SuperCool Indicator
This icon flashes in an animated style
when the SuperCool function is active.
3. Fridge Set Function
This function allows you to make the
refrigerator temperature setting. Press
the temperature sensor(3) to set the
temperature of the refrigerator to
8,7,6,5,4,3 and 2 respectively.
4. Refrigerator Temperature
Setting Indicator
The temperature Setting Indicator
indicates the temperature set for the
refrigerator.
5. Temperature Inside the Fridge
Pressing and holding the temperature
sensor (3) will activate a brief
long acoustic signal and the real
temperature inside the refrigerator
will be shown on the display for 10
seconds.

Indicator
While the Temperature Inside the

10 seconds.
7. Key Lock Mode
Press ,FZ-PDLTFOTPSconcurrently
for 3 seconds. The Key lock icon will

9. Economic Usage Indicator
The Economic Usage Indicator is
turned on when the refrigerator is set
to 8°C.
10. High Temperature/Error
Warning Indicator
If your refrigerator does not cool ad-
equately or if there is a sensor failure,
this indicator will be activated. When
UIJTJOEJDBUPSJTBDUJWFUIF3FGSJHFSBUPSTemperature indicator will display “E”
BOEUIF3FGSJHFSBUPS5FNQFSBUVSFIndicator will display numbers such
as “1,2,3…”. These numbers on the
indicator provides information about
the the error.
11. Display Off (Energy-Saving
Function)
When you press this sensor, the
Energy-Saving icon will light up and
the Energy-Saving will be activated.
If the Energy-Saving Function is
active, all icons on the display other
than the Energy-Saving icon will turn
off. If any sensor is pressed or the door
is opened while the Energy-Saving
Function is active the function will be
exited and the icons on the display will
return to the starting position. If you
press this sensor again, the Energy-
Saving icon will be turned off and the
Energy-Saving Function will not be
active.

This icon lights up when the Energy-
Saving Function is selected

Glass shelves: The distance between

warning signal will mute when any
button on the indicator is pressed or
when the door is closed.

This compartment has been

FreshZone is the coldest place
in your refrigerator in which dairy
products (cheese, butter), meat, fish or
chicken may be kept at ideal storage

6Maintenance and cleaning

purposes.
BWe recommend that you unplug the
appliance before cleaning.
BNever use any sharp abrasive
instrument, soap, household
cleaner, detergent and wax polish for
cleaning.
Use lukewarm water to clean the
cabinet of your refrigerator and wipe it
dry.
Use a damp cloth wrung out in
a solution of one teaspoon of
bicarbonate of soda to one pint of
water to clean the interior and wipe it
dry.

Protection of plastic
surfaces
Do not put the liquid oils or oil-cooked
meals in your refrigerator in unsealed
containers as they damage the
plastic surfaces of your refrigerator. In
case of spilling or smearing oil on the
plastic surfaces, clean and rinse the
relevant part of the surface at once
with warm water.
