1. About these operating instructions and symbol descriptions
Incorrect operation can lead to serious injury or death
Incorrect operation or negligence may result in personal injury,
damage to the equipment or faulty measurements.
Instructions and tips for operation.
• Numbers in illustrations (1, 2, 3 ...) refer to the corresponding numbers in
brackets (1), (2), (3) ... in the text next to the item numbers in the tables.
• Instructions for which the order must be followed are numbered (1, 2, 3, ...).
• Lists are marked with bullet points (•, •, ...).
2. Safety and accident prevention rules
• Do not open the device.
• Do not look directly into the light or dazzle others to prevent damage
to the eyes. Protection against retina damage!
• Do not use the device in intense sunshine or extreme temperature conditions.
• The working temperature is between -10°C and +40°C
• Keep a safe distance away from children!
Before using the device, children must receive instruction.

4. Operation and charging instruction
Operating instruction:
• Press the switch to switch on the top work light
• Operate the switch a second time to switch on the main work light.
• Press the switch again to switch off the lamp.
Charging instruction:
• Charge the device with the USB charger when it is switched off.
• During charging the battery indicator illuminates red.
• As soon as charging is completed, the battery indicator illuminates green.
If this is not the case, remove the USB charger and try again.
• Use the recommended charger for charging the lamp.
Using a different charger can cause fi re and destruction of the lamp
• Before fi rst use, charge the device for 4-5 hours.
• Charging should only be done supervised, avoid charging in a workshop
overnight or similar.
• Before storing the lamp for a long period, fully charge the device.

5. Safety instructions
• Do not use the device if there is damage on the housing, plug or cable.
In this case, contact your authorised specialist!
• Do not open the device! Repairs or replacement of the battery should only
be done by a trained specialist.
• Only clean the device once the main plug has been unplugged from the power socket.
• There is a risk that damage caused by dropping the device could lead
to the battery overheating and auto-igniting.
• There is a risk of short-circuit. Repairs on the device should only be carried out
by trained specialists. In this case, contact your nearest approved dealer.
• Protect the battery against heat, continuous and intensive sun exposure,
fi re, water and moisture. Risk of explosion!
• The work light must not be used in areas containing explosive atmospheres.
• If the battery is damaged or not used correctly, liquids can escape
from the battery. Avoid touching any liquids. Escaping battery liquids
can cause skin irritation or burns. Rinse your skin off with water if you should come
into contact with battery liquids. Should the battery liquid enter your eye, make sure
that you seek medical advice.
• The lamp must not be placed on the light surface while in operation.
6. Disposal
• The device must never be disposed of with household waste.
• Dispose of the device via an approved disposal centre or your municipal waste facility.
Please follow the currently applicable regulations.
If in doubt, please contact your waste disposal facility. Dispose of all packaging
materials via an environmentally-friendly waste disposal facility.
Rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of in household waste
• Give your used rechargeable batteries back to your dealer or to an approved
battery collection point.
