product could be used for Graupner HoTT 2.4GHz mz series Transmitter. And it is
NOT compatible with the other branded 2.4GHz Transmitter. Prior to use this product,
please read this manual for correct use and operation. Otherwise, this product would

2. External Bluetooth module Installation
This Graupner S8351 External Bluetooth module is used in connecting with Graupner
HoTT mz series Transmitter. And the communication could be with Android smart
phone by Bluetooth. Therefore, various telemetry data could be transferred to the
smart phone from the TX in real-time. These real-time telemetry data could be supplied
in voice and graphic and also could be edited by the user for the required data.
Regarding the Graupner HoTT mz-10, mz-12, mz-18 and mz-24 Transmitters, the
S8351 External Bluetooth module could be connected at the data input as the below
photo. Regarding the Graupner HoTT mz-10, mz-18 and mz-24 could be used without
any additional conguration.
As for the mz-12, you could congure the related function on the TX program. At the
DATA sele item of Basic sett function, please change Telemetry to BLUETOOTH.

3. Android Application
4. Graupner HoTT Meter Viewer
The formal name of Graupner Android Application is “Graupner HoTT Meter Viewer”.
At the play store of smart phone, please search Graupner and download the Graupner
HoTT Meter Viewer.

To make the Bluetooth module activated, please tap the Bluetooth on and there will be
Bluetooth connecting message. Please tap “connect” and it will be activated. Please
tap “Bluetooth Device Search” and there will be Bluetooth device list after 10 – 15
seconds. And please designate “Graupner HoTT BT2” and tap “Connect”. For the
initial connection, there will be required for the PIN number. Then, press “0000” or
“1234”. After conguration, tap “Setup Finish” and the screen will be move to the main
Manu page.
When you download the application, the initial screen will be presented. Please tap the
Bluetooth Setup button and the screen will be moved to the setting mode.

5. Voice Setup
5-1. Warning
Voice Setup is for the editing of voice guide function. At the main page, please tap
“Voice Setup” for the conguration.
The rst conguration is for Warning Display Enable. Please check this item for
activation.

This is for editing function of Receiver Telemetry Voice guide. There is an entire clear
function and each item could be picked - the each RF Strength, Temperature, Voltage,
Low Volte, etc. Please tap “Receiver” from the top side and it could be moved to the
conguration page. Please check the items for the activation.
This is for editing function of General Air module Voice guide. There is an entire clear
function and each item could be picked - Cell 01~Cell 06, Sensor1 Volt, Sensor2
Volt, Sensor1 Temp, Sensor2 Temp, Altitude, Current, Input Volt, Capacity, RPM, etc.
Please tap “General” from the top side and it could be moved to the conguration
page. Please check the items for the activation.
This is for editing function of Electric Air module Voice guide. There is an entire clear
function and each item could be picked - Cell 01~Cell 14, Sensor1 Volt, Sensor2 Volt,
Sensor1 Temp, Sensor2 Temp, Altitude, Current, Input Volt, Capacity, etc. Please tap
“Electric” from the top side and it could be moved to the conguration page. Please
check the items for the activation.

This is for editing function of “Brushless Control +T” ESC Voice guide. There is an
entire clear function and each item could be picked - RPM, Current, Voltage, Capacity,
etc. Please tap “Air ESC” from the top side and it could be moved to the conguration
page. Please check the items for the activation.
This is for editing function of standard units of Graupner HoTT Meter Viewer Data.
At the main page, tap “Display Setup” and the screen will be moved to the congura-
tion page for the rst function of Data unit. This is for unit conguration of Graupner
HoTT Meter Viewer - Metric
(℃ , m, km) or English( ℉ , ft, mile).
This is for RPM unit conguration for the related module - 0~10,000, 0~20,000,
0~50,000 and 0~100,000. Please tap “RPM” from the top side and it could be moved
to the conguration page.

This is for Voltage unit conguration for the related module - 0~20V, 0~40V and
0~80V. Please tap “Voltage” from the top side and it could be moved to the congura-
tion page.
This is for Current unit conguration for the related module - 0~10A, 0~25A, 0~50A,
0~100A, 0~200A and 0~300A. Please tap “Current” from the top side and it could be
moved to the conguration page.

This is for Current unit conguration for the related module - 0~2500mAh, 0~5000mAh,
0~7500mAh, 0~10000mAh, 0~20000mAh and 0~30000mAh. Please tap “Capacity”
from the top side and it could be moved to the conguration page.
This is for review the data of Graupner HoTT Meter Viewer by graph, gauge and map.
At the related screen, the voice guide function shall be activated. Moving the smart
phone screen, all data of sensors and modules could be monitored. The screens for
each device are following.

8. Safety Approval

• FCC radiation exposure statement
This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled
environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with minimum distance of
20 cm between the radiator and your body.

• Caution
- This equipment’s aerial must be at least 20 cm from any person when the system is in
use. We therefore do not recommend using the equipment at a closer range than 20cm.
- Ensure that no other transmitter is closer than 20cm from your equipment, in order to
avoid adverse effects on the system’s electrical characteristics and radiation pattern.
- The radio control system should not be operated until the Country setting has been set
correctly at the transmitter. This is essential in order to fulll the requirements of various
directives - FCC, ETSI, CE, KC and etc. Please refer to the instructions for your particu-
lar transmitter and receiver for details of this procedure.
- Check all working systems and carry out at least one full range check on the ground
before every ight, in order to show up any errors in the system and the models program-
ming.
- Never make any changes to the programming of the transmitter or receiver whilst
operating a model.
