The air conditioner is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without
supervision.
Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the air conditioner.
If the power cord is to be replaced, replacement work must be performed by

The Refrigerant
Compared to common refrigerants, R32 is a nonpolluting refrigerant with no harm to
the ozonosphere. The influence upon the greenhouse effect is also lower. R32 has got
very good thermodynamic features which lead to a really high energy efficiency. The
units therefore need a less filling.

Any repairs carried out by unqualified personnel may be dangerous.

To realize the function of the air conditioner unit, a special refrigerant circulates in the
system. The used refrigerant is the fluoride R32,which is specially cleaned. The refrigerant
is flammable and inodorous. Furthermore, it can leads to explosion under certain conditions.
But the flammability of the refrigerant is very low. It can be ignited only by fire.

The Refrigerant

Any person who is involved with working on or breaking into a refrigerant circuit
shouldhold a current valid certificate from an industry-accredited assessment
authority, whichsuthorizes their competence to handle refrigerants safely in
accordance with an industry recognized assessment specification.
Servicing shall only be performed as recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
Maintenance and repairrequiring the assistance of other skilled personnel shall be
carried out under the supervision of the person competent in the use of flammable
refrigerants.
Do not use means to accelerate the defrosting process or to clean, other than those
recommended by the manufacturer.
The appliance shall be stored in a room without continuously operating ignition
sources (for example: open flames, an operating gas appliance or an operating
electric heater.)
Do not pierce or burn. Be aware that refrigerants may not contain an odor.
Adopt R32 flammable refrigerant. When maintaining or disposing the unit, the
refrigerant inside the system must be eliminated. Refrigerant should be recovered,
which can’t be discharged freely.
Keep ventilation opening clear of obstruction.
The unit can only be maintained according to the method suggested by manufacturer.
Appliance shall be stored in a room without continuously operating open flames (for
example an operating gas appliance) and ignition sources (for example an operating
electric heater) close to the appliance. No open fire (fired equipment such as electrical
heater and gas stove etc. ) or any equipment (e.g. switch) that might generate arc
around the appliance.

Recommended ground method
For your personal safety, this air conditioner must be grounded.
This air conditioner is equipped with a power supply cord having
a grounded 3 prong plug. To minimize possible shock hazard, the
cord must be plugged into a mating, grounded 3 prong outlet,
grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances. If a
mating outlet is not available, it is the customer's responsibility to
have a properly grounded 3 prong outlet installed by a qualified
electrical installer.
It is the customer's responsibility:
To contact a qualified electrical installer.
To assure that the electrical installation is adequate and in
conformance with National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70 -
latest edition, and all local codes and ordinances.

Power Supply Cord
NOTE: Your unit’s device may differ from the one shown.
This room air conditioner is equipped with a power supply cord
required by UL. This power supply cord contains state-of-the-art
electronics that sense leakage current. If the cord is crushed, the
electronics detect leakage current and power will be
disconnected in a fraction of a second.
To test your power supply cord:
1. Plug power supply cord into a grounded 3prong outlet.
2. Press RESET (on some devices, a green light will turn on).
3. Press TEST (listen for click; Reset button will trip, and on
some devices, a green light will turn off).
4. Press and release RESET (listen for click; Reset button will
latch, and on some devices, a green light will turn on). The
power supply cord is ready for operation.
NOTES:
The Reset button must be pushed in for proper operation.
The power supply cord must be replaced if it fails to trip when
the test button is pressed or fails to reset.
Do not use the power supply cord as an off/on switch. The
power supply cord is designed as a protective device.
A damaged power supply cord must be replaced with a new
power supply cord obtained from the product manufacturer
and must not be repaired.
The power supply cord contains no user serviceable parts.
Opening the tamper-resistant case voids all warranty and
performance claims.

airflow through the condenser,for heat removal.The rear

How to In stall
Storm Window Requirements
A storm window frame will not allow the air conditioner to
tilt properly which in turn will keep it from draining properly.
To adjust for this, attach a board or piece of wood to the
sill. The board or wood piece should have a depth of at
least 1 1/2”. Make sure the board or piece of wood is ap-
proximately 1/2” higher than the storm window frame. This
will allow the air conditioner to tilt enough for proper drain-
age. (See FIG. 5).
Placing the Unit Inside a Window
1. Place the air conditioner on the sill with the bottom
mounting rail against its back edge. Center the air con-
ditioner and close the window securely behind the top
mounting rail. The air conditioner should be slightly
tilted to the outside area. Use a level; about a 1/3 bub-
ble will be the correct case slant to the outside. (See
FIG. 5 & FIG. 6)
2. Once the air conditioner is placed, extend both the left
and right accordion panels to the width of the window.
Accordion Panel Installation
Now that you have installed the top rail, you can now install
the accordion panels on each side.
1. Place the air conditioner on a hard flat surface.
2. Locate the accordion panels in the box.
3. Gently pull the free end of the accordion panel (See
FIG. 2). Do this for both panels.
4. Slide the free end of the accordion panel into the side
panel of the air conditioner (See FIG. 3). Do this for
each side.
5. Once the accordion panels are slid into place adjust
the top and bottom rails of the accordion panels into
the top and bottom rails of the air conditioner (See FIG.
4).

Installation
1. Drive 3/4” screws into the top of the accordion panel
frame and the top rail to securely attach the window
air conditioner tothe lower sash. (See FIG. 9/10)
2.Tosecure the lower sash into place, use the sash lock
and a 3/4” screw as shown below (See FIG. 11)
3.For added insulation, cut the supplied insulation foam to
the width of the window. Insert the foam between the
window sashes to prevent air and objectsfrom getting
into the room.(See FIG. 12)
Removing the Air Conditioner from the
Window
Drain water
1.Turn the air conditioner off, and disconnect the power
cord.
2.Remove the sash seal from between windows, and
unscrew sash lock.
3.Remove the screws installed through the frame and
frame lock.
4.Close (slide) the side panels into frame.
5.Keeping a firm grip on air conditioner, raise the sash
and carefully “rock” air conditioner backward to drain
any condensate water in base of unit. Becareful not to
spill any remaining water while lifting unit from window.
6.Store parts WITHthe air conditioner in the box
To get the maximum cooling efficiency , the air conditioner is
designed to splash the condensate on the condenser coil. If the
splashing sound annoys you, you can provide an outside drain by
using the following procedure, which may however cause a small
loss of performance.
1. The air conditioner have the drainage gasket-FIG a.

AIR CONDITIONER USE
The display always shows the room temperature except when setting the Set temperature or the Delay timer.
Lights next to the touch pads on the air conditioner control panel indicate the selected settings.
Operating your air conditioner properly helps you to obtain the
best possible results.
This section explains proper air conditioner operation.
IMPORTANT:
If you turn off the air conditioner, wait at least 3 minutes
before turning it back on. This prevents the air conditioner
from blowing a fuse or tripping a circuit breaker.
Do not try to operate your air conditioner in the cooling mode
when outside temperature is below 65 °F (18°C). The inside
evaporator coil will freeze up, and the air conditioner will
operate properly.
NOTE: In the event of a power failure, your air conditioner will
operate at the previous settings when the power is restored.
This is a general use remote controller, it could be
used for the air conditioner swith multifunction; For some
function, which the model doesn't have, if press the
corresponding button on the remote controller that the unit
will keep the original running status.

Press this button can your required operation mode in turn. Corresponding indicator will be on.
●Cool:Under this mode, air conditioner operates under cooling mode. Cooling indicator will be on. Press “Fan Speed”
●Fan Only:Under this mode, air conditioner will not cool or heat, only blow wind. Fan indicator will be on. Press “Fan
●Energy Save:Under this mode, air conditioner operates under SE mode. SE indicator will be on. Press “Fan Speed”

Press this button to go into the SLEEP operation mode. Press any button to cancel this function. This function can be
started up under fan mode and cooling mode. Under cooling mode, the unit operates at low fan speed and it
automatically adjusts the temperature; under fan mode, the unit operate at low fan speed.
5Delay 1-24hr button
Press this button can set TIMER ON and TIMER OFF. During setting process, setting indicator will be on.

Timer preview:Under timer status, press “Delay 1-24hr” button to enter into timer preview. Dual-8 nixie tube displays residual time.
Cancel timer:During timer preview or timer setting process, press “Delay 1- 24hr” button to cancel timer setting.
Timer indicator will be off.

Under temperature setting status, after each pressing of “ +” or “ ” button,temperature will increase or decrease 1°F.
Temperature setting range: 64~86°F
Under timer setting status, after each pressing of “ +” or “ ” button, time will increase or decrease 1h.
After timer function is started up, press Delay 1-24hr button to display residual time.
Dual-8 nixie tube defaults to display Fahrenheit temperature. If it needs to display centigrade temperature,
press temperature +and buttons simultaneously for 3s. If it needs to display Fahrenheit temperature, repeat
this operation.

5SLEEP button
Press this button to go into the SLEEP operation mode. Press any button to cancel this function. This function can be
started up under fan mode and cooling mode. Under cooling mode, the unit operates at low fan speed and it
automatically adjusts the temperature; under fan mode, the unit operate at low fan speed.
TIMER ON: At off status, press this button and press “+” or “-” button within 5s can set time for TIMER ON. After each
pressing of “+” or “-” button, time will increase or decrease 0.5h or 1h. If hold “+” or “-” button, time will change quickly
after 2s. Loose the button until reaching to your required time. 5s later,

Press this button can set TIMER ON and TIMER OFF.

Air Conditioner Features
Please always wait 3 minutes when turning unit off and then on again, and when changing from cool to fan
and back to cool. This prevents the compressor from overheating and possible circuit breaker tripping.
Cool Mode
The desired cool setting is selected by rotating the knob to the right to the appropriate location.
“high cool” has maximum cooling effect and airflow.
“low cool” has minimum cooling effect and airflow.
Note: If your unit is equipped with a vent handle, keep it closed for maximum efficiency.
Fan Mode
Rotate the knob to the left to select your choice of fan speeds for air circulation.
Note: When selecting a fan speed, the compressor will not run.

AUGER WHEEL
Air Directional Louvers
Air directional louvers control air flow direction. Your air conditioner has
the louver type described below.
Auger Type
Rotate the Auger Wheels until the desired Left/Right direction is obtained.
Thermostat
The thermostat is used to set the desired room temperature when the unit is being operated in the “COOL MODE”.
To set the desired room temperature, rotate the thermostat switch to the desired setting. After the set temperature is achieved the
thermostat will automatically start and stop the compressor in order to maintain the desired set temperature.
Rotate the thermostat selector clockwise for higher cool settings. Higher cool settings will provide lower room temperature.
Rotate the thermostat selector counter clockwise for lower cool settings. Lower cool settingswill provide higher room temperature.

Fan and compressor on & off at the same time.
“med cool” has medium cooling effect and airflow.

Clean your air conditioner occasionally to keep it looking new. Be sure to unplug the
unit before cleaning to prevent shock or fire hazards.
Air Filter Cleaning
The air filter should be checked at least once a month to see if cleaning is necessary.
Trapped particles in the filter can build up and cause an accumulation of frost on the
cooling coils.
•Remove filter by sliding out from the right-hand side.
•Wash the filter using liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water. Rinse filter thor-
oughly. Gently shake excess water from the filter. Be sure filter is thoroughly dry before
replacing.
•Or, instead of washing you may vacuum the filter clean.
Cabinet Cleaning
•Be sure to unplug the air conditioner to prevent shock or fire hazard. The cabinet and
front may be dusted with an oil-free cloth or washed with a cloth dampened in a solution
of warm water and mild liquid dishwashing detergent. Rinse thoroughly and wipe dry.
•Never use harsh cleaners, wax or polish on the cabinet front.
•Be sure to wring excess water from the cloth before wiping around the controls. Excess
water in or around the controls may cause damage to the air conditioner.
•Plug in air conditioner.
Winter Storage
If you plan to store the air conditioner during the winter, remove it carefully from the
window according to the installation instructions. Cover it with plastic or return it to the
original carton.
Care and Cleaning
Normal Sounds
Repairing Paint Damage
When your air conditioner is operating normally, you may hear sounds such as:
Droplets of water hitting the condenser, causing a pinging or clicking sound. The water droplets help cool the condenser.
Air movement from the fan.
Clicks from the thermostat cycle.
Vibrations or noise due to poor wall or window construction.
A high-pitched hum or pulsating noise caused by the modern high-efficiency compressor cycling on and off.
Cleaning the Front Panel
1. Unplug air conditioner or disconnect power.
2. Clean front panel with a soft, damp cloth.
3. Air dry front panel completely.
4. Plug in air conditioner or reconnect power.
Check once or twice a year for paint damage. This is very important, especially in areas near oceans or where rust is
problem. If needed, touch up with a good grade enamel paint.
NOTE: To reduce paint damage during the winter, install a heavyduty cover over air conditioner cabinet. For information on
ordering a heavy-duty cover, see “Accessories.”
Annual Maintenance
Your air conditioner needs annual maintenance to help ensure steady, top performance throughout the year. Call your local
authorized dealer to schedule an annual checkup. The expense of an annual inspection is your responsibility.
