Bucket
Grease Pumps
High volume - High Pressure grease pump,
optimal for greasing earth moving & agricultural
equipments, automobile applications & also
where quick greasing is required.
Delivers upto 9 gms. of grease per stroke, which
is twice the amount of grease discharge by any
other pump.
Pump develops pressure up to 4,000 PSI
(275 bar).
Some models are equipped with wheels for
ease of use.
Swivel connector for easy maneuverability of
high pressure hose.
Built-in Lift Handle.
Variable handle setting permits convenient use
of the pump with wide range of greases.
Air Release Valve fitted on aluminum ie cast
Pump Head for removing air pockets in grease.

INSTALLATION
1. Remove the pump assembly from the box.
2. Assemble the pump handle with the connecting link.
3. Handle settings can be varied depending on the grease to
be pumped:
• High Pressure Setting: Assembly of the Piston Rod with
this hole allows the pump to develop High pressure upto
4000 PSI (275 BAR) and delivers upto 4 gm of grease per
stroke. This position is advised while using thick grease.
• Middle Pressure Medium Volume Setting: Assembly of
Piston Rod into this hole allows the pump to develop upto
3000 PSI (206 bar) and delivers upto 7 gms. of grease per
stroke. This position is good for all general purpose grease
applications.
• High Volume Setting: Assembly of Piston Rod into this hole
allows the pump to deliver high volume of grease (Upto 9
gm per stroke) and a pressure upto 2000 PSI (138 bar). This
position is best while using thin grease.
4. Open the three cover clamp and pull out the pump
assembly.
5. Clean the inside of the steel drum,ensuring that no foreign
particles stay inside.
6. Fill the steel drum with clean grease.
WARNING
Do not fill the drum till the top, but only till the Max. grease level marked
on the drum.
7. Insert the whole drum cover assembly into the bucket
keeping the follower plate horizontal.
8. Push the follower plate downward to spread the grease
uniformly inside the bucket.

9. Lock the cover plate with the bucket using the clamps.
OPERATION
1. Place one of your foot on the foot rest.
2. Hold the Pistol nozzle in one hand.
3. Start operating the lever handle till grease starts coming
out of the grease coupler. This may take 20 strokes when
using the pump for the first time.
4. If even after 20 strokes the pump does not dispense
grease, then shake the bucket and prime the pump. (Refer
“Priming”)
5. Connect the grease coupler with the grease fitting of the
equipment that needs to be lubricated.
6. Start operating the pump again till grease starts coming out
from the coupler.
7. Once the greasing is done, detach the Grease Coupler from
the grease fitting.
PRIMING
When using the pump after a refill, sometimes there is a
possibility that grease does not come out of the coupler even
after repetitive strokes. There might be a possibility of air pockets
trapped inside the bucket or the pump assembly. To remove
these pockets priming is required:
1. Unscrew the Air Release Valve cap on the pump head.
2. Operate the pump using the lever.
3. When the grease starts coming out smoothly from the air
release valve, tighten the valve cap.

CONNECTING THE GREASE COUPLER
The Grease Coupler provided at the end of the nozzle has jaw
type construction. The coupler jaws will snap on to a grease
fitting and maintain a tight fit.
1. When connecting the coupler to a grease fitting, press the
coupler straight on to the grease fitting to form a snug
fit.
2. Once greasing is completed, slightly tilt the coupler, twist
and pull back.
3. The tilt and twist action will allow easy removal of the
coupler from the grease fitting.

CAUTIONS
1. Do not point the discharge nozzle towards yourself or
anyone as there is a potential hazard for injection into the
skin or eyes.
2. Before operating the pump check the hose for signs of
wear, leaks or loose connections. If hose is weak, worn or
damaged, replace the hose immediately.
3. In case of an accident, immediately seek medical attention.
Do not try to treat the injury yourself.
