FB 101, to which this declaration relates, is in conformity with the
Council Directives on the approximation of the laws of the EC Member
States relating to

– Electrical equipment designed for use within certain voltage limits

1. Applications
The FB 101 is an impedance protection module
which is mounted before the IO 401 phase sequence
input.
2. FB 101 module
Prior to installation, read these installation
and operating instructions. Installation and
operation must comply with local regula-
tions and accepted codes of good prac-
tice.
All wires to units outside the control panel
must be of the type H05VV-F according to
CENELEC HD21 (to avoid injury from
touching wires).

The FB 101 module is an input circuit for measuring
the phase sequence in the IO 401 module. The
FB 101 module contains protective impedance. The
input cable must be sized according to the tables
below.

• Plastic type: Black PC / ABS.
Internal resistances
The module has three resistance chains which con-
nect the six terminals.
The resistance value for a resistance chain is
2.9 MΩ.
Voltage range
115-400 VAC.
The FB 101 module must be mounted on a 35 mm standard DIN rail (EN 50022).
Recommended height 7.5 mm.

normal use and operation.
