Airflow direction of the switch交换机的风向设计
The switch provides front-to-back (port side to power module side) or back-to-front (power
module side to port side) airflow depending on the fan trays. This guide uses the S6300-
42QT switch as an example. The fan trays LSWM1HFANSC and LSWM1HFANSCB are
available for the S6300-42QT switch. S6300系列以太网交换机采用前后风道设计，通过
配置不同的风扇模块，可提供“端口侧到电源侧”和“电源侧到端口侧”两种通风方式，满足
不同环境下的散热要求。此处以S6300-42QT为例介绍交换机的风向设计，S6300-42QT
支持LSWM1HFANSC和LSWM1HFANSCB两款型号的风扇。

The switch comes with the two fan tray slots empty. You must install two fan trays of the
same model on the switch. Do not power on the switch when no or only one fan tray is
installed. 交换机出厂时两个风扇插槽均为空，为保证设备的正常散热，用户必须安装
两个相同型号的风扇模块，否则禁止交换机上电运行。
If both fan trays fail when the switch is operating, finish replacing the fan trays within 2
minutes. 交换机运行过程中，如果两个风扇模块均出现故障，则必须在2分钟内完成故障
风扇模块的更换。
If one fan tray fails when the switch is operating, replace the fan tray within 24 hours
when the ambient temperature is below 27°C (80.6°F). Do not remove the failed fan tray
before replacement. Replace the failed fan tray immediately when the ambient
temperature is above 27°C(80.6°F). 交换机运行过程中，如果一个风扇模块出现故障，
则当环境温度不高于27°C时，必须在24小时内完成故障风扇模块的更换，且更换前必须
保持故障风扇模块在位；当环境温度高于27°C时，请立即进行更换。
Before installing the fan tray, make sure the airflow direction marked on the fan tray
meets the ventilation requirement of the installation site. 安装风扇模块前，请根据
风扇模块的风向指示，确认气流方向和安装环境的通风要求一致。
Install a filler panel to the empty power module slot to ensure good ventilation and
prevent dust from entering the chassis. 若电源模块插槽没有安装电源模块，请及时安装
假面板，以保证设备的良好通风散热并防止灰尘进入交换机。
