Principe de fonctionnement
Ce compteur d’énergie mesure l’énergie électrique
active consommée par un circuit électrique.
Il est équipé d’un afcheur digital qui permet de
visualiser l’énergie consommée et la puissance.
La conception et la fabrication de ce produit
sont conformes aux exigences de la norme
IEC 62053-21.

Communication M-BUS
MEDIA M-BUS
Dans une conguration standard, une liaison
M-BUS permet de mettre en relation jusqu’à 250*
produits avec un PC ou un automate sur une
distance de 1000 mètres**.
* dépendant du maître M-BUS
** dépendant du nombre de produits et de la
vitesse de communication.
Recommandations : il est recommandé d’utiliser
une paire torsadée nonblindée type JYSTY
Nx2x0,8 mm (0,5 mm²).
Si la distance de 1000 m et/ou le nombre de
250 produits est dépassé, il est nécessaire de
raccorder un répéteur.
-> si le nb 250 est dépassé : utilisation de
l’adresse secondaire uniquement.
Le protocole M-BUS
Le protocole M-BUS
fonctionne selon une
structure maître/esclave.
Les appareils (esclaves)
sont compatibles avec
les 2 modes d’adressage
primaire et secondaire.
L’adressage primaire est
congurable via l’interface du produit. L’adressage
secondaire est une adresse xe et unique inscrite
sur la face avant du produit ( A ).
Les appareils M-BUS possèdent également la
fonctionnalité « Wildcard addressing » permettant
la recherche des produits sur le réseau M-BUS.
Possibilité de broadcast aux adresses 254 et 255.
De plus, les appareils M-BUS sont compatibles
OMS (Open Metering Systems).

Lecture des valeurs
Par appuis successifs sur la
touche «lecture» faire déler
les différentes valeurs. Par
défaut, le compteur afche
l’énergie consommée dans
le tarif en cours.
Le compteur détaille les
consommations d’énergie
actives totales par tarif (T1,
T2, T3 ou T4) et au total (T).
Note : l’information
sur l’afcheur indique que la
phase correspondante (1, 2,
3) est sous tension.
Remise à zéro du compteur partiel
- Appuyer sur la touche lecture an d’afcher à
l’écran une energie partielle.
-
Faire un appui prolongé (> 3s) sur le bouton reset.
Le compteur partiel est remis à zéro.
Message d’erreur : en cas de mauvais
raccordement, «ERROR» est afché à l’écran.
- Vérier pour chacune des phases que le
sens du courant est conforme au schéma de
raccordement.
- Vérier que l’ordre des phases L1, L2, L3 est
conforme au schéma de raccordement.
Note : l’information sur l’afcheur indique
que la phase correspondante (1, 2, 3) est sous
tension.
Vérication du raccordement et
afchage des messages d’erreur
La fonction est accessible aux conditions
suivantes : mettre le produit sous tension, et le
circuit de mesure en charge.
Faire un appui long (> 3 sec) sur la touche
«lecture» du compteur.
Err 0 = aucune erreur
Err 1 = inversion raccordement phase 1 (L1 <=>L1’)
Err 2 = inversion raccordement phase 2 (L2 <=>L2’)
Err 3 = inversion raccordement phase 3 (L3 <=>L3’)
Err 7 = inversion entre V1 et Neutre
Err 8 = inversion entre V2 et Neutre
Err 9 = inversion entre V3 et Neutre.
Faire un appui long (> 3 sec) sur la touche
« lecture » du compteur pour sortir du mode.
Cette fonction est active uniquement si le
facteur de puissance de l’installation est
compris entre 0.6 et 1 et 20% de Imax sur
chaque phase (minimum 20A).
Programmation
Mode MANU
Ce mode permet de congurer manuellement tous
les paramètres de la communication M-BUS :
Adresse, Vitesse.
Mode AUTO
Ce mode permet de congurer automatiquement la
vitesse de communication.
Seule l’adresse primaire du compteur est à
renseigner.
Utilisation de l’adresse secondaire : si cette
fonctionnalité est utilisée, il est uniquement
nécessaire de congurer la vitesse (l’adresse
secondaire étant xe et unique, inscrite sur la face
avant du produit).

Que faire si ?
• A ppareil éteint
- Vériez le câblage des prises tensions
• C ommunication défectueuse
- Vériez la conguration : adresse, vitesse,
parité, bit de stop et le câblage.
• Message “error” afché
- Lancez la fonction de test du raccordement.
• Message “Err 01” afché
- Une erreur est survenue dans la gestion
du compteur, veuillez le débrancher et le
rebrancher. Si le signal du compteur reste
afché, remplacez le compteur.
• Message “Err CRC” afché
- Une erreur critique est survenue dans le
logiciel, l’appareil n’est plus fonctionnel,
veuillez le remplacer.
• P ictogramme présence phase éteint.
- Vériez le cablage.

Remise à zéro du compteur partiel
- Appuyer sur la touche lecture an d’afcher à
l’écran une energie partielle.

Faire un appui prolongé (> 3s) sur le bouton reset.
Le compteur partiel est remis à zéro.
Message d’erreur : en cas de mauvais
raccordement, «ERROR» est afché à l’écran.
- Vérier pour chacune des phases que le
sens du courant est conforme au schéma de
raccordement.
- Vérier que l’ordre des phases L1, L2, L3 est
conforme au schéma de raccordement.
Note : l’information sur l’afcheur indique
que la phase correspondante (1, 2, 3) est sous
tension.
Vérication du raccordement et
afchage des messages d’erreur
La fonction est accessible aux conditions
suivantes : mettre le produit sous tension, et le
circuit de mesure en charge.
Faire un appui long (> 3 sec) sur la touche
«lecture» du compteur.
Err 0 = aucune erreur
Err 1 = inversion raccordement phase 1 (L1 <=>L1’)
Err 2 = inversion raccordement phase 2 (L2 <=>L2’)
Err 3 = inversion raccordement phase 3 (L3 <=>L3’)
Err 7 = inversion entre V1 et Neutre
Err 8 = inversion entre V2 et Neutre
Err 9 = inversion entre V3 et Neutre.
Faire un appui long (> 3 sec) sur la touche
« lecture » du compteur pour sortir du mode.
Cette fonction est active uniquement si le
facteur de puissance de l’installation est
compris entre 0.6 et 1 et 20% de Imax sur
chaque phase (minimum 20A).
Programmation
Mode MANU
Ce mode permet de congurer manuellement tous
les paramètres de la communication M-BUS :
Adresse, Vitesse.
Mode AUTO
Ce mode permet de congurer automatiquement la
vitesse de communication.
Seule l’adresse primaire du compteur est à
renseigner.
Utilisation de l’adresse secondaire : si cette
fonctionnalité est utilisée, il est uniquement
nécessaire de congurer la vitesse (l’adresse
secondaire étant xe et unique, inscrite sur la face
avant du produit).

Que faire si ?
• A ppareil éteint
- Vériez le câblage des prises tensions
• C ommunication défectueuse
- Vériez la conguration : adresse, vitesse,
parité, bit de stop et le câblage.
• Message “error” afché
- Lancez la fonction de test du raccordement.
• Message “Err 01” afché
- Une erreur est survenue dans la gestion
du compteur, veuillez le débrancher et le
rebrancher. Si le signal du compteur reste
afché, remplacez le compteur.
• Message “Err CRC” afché
- Une erreur critique est survenue dans le
logiciel, l’appareil n’est plus fonctionnel,
veuillez le remplacer.
• P ictogramme présence phase éteint.
- Vériez le cablage.

Operating principle
This kilowatt hour meter measures the active
electrical energy used in an electrical installation.
This device has a digital LCD to display energy
used and power.
The design and manufacture of this meter comply
with Standard IEC 62053-21 requirements.

M-BUS MEDIA
In a standard conguration, an M-BUS connection
can be used to link up to 250* products with a PC
or PLC, over a range of 1000 metres**.
* depending on the M-BUS master
** depending on the number of products and the
communication speed.
Recommendations: the use of a JYSTY Nx2x0.8
mm (0.5 mm²) unshielded twisted pair is
recommended.
If the range of 1000 m and/or the limit of 250
products are exceeded, a repeater will need to be
connected.
-> f the 250 limit is exceeded: only use the
secondary address.
M-BUS protocol
The M-BUS protocol operates using a master/
slave structure.
EC368 (slave) units are compatible with both
primary and secondary addressing modes.
Primary addressing can
be congured via the
product interface.
Secondary addressing
uses a xed, unique
address shown on
the front face of the
product ( A ).
M-BUS EC368 units also have the «Wildcard
addressing» function which allows products to be
searched for on the M-BUS network.
Option to broadcast to addresses 254 and 255.
In addition, M-BUS product units are
OMScompatible (Open Metering Systems).

The EC368 provides
detailed display of the total
consumptions according to

To reset the partial meter
- Press the scrolling key several times in order to
display partial energy.
- Press the reset button during 3 sec.
The partial meter will be set to zero.
ERROR message: in case of bad wiring, an
«ERROR» message will be displayed.
- Check for each phase that current direction is in
line with wiring diagram.
- Check that the phase order L1, L2, L3 is in line
with the wiring diagram.
Note: the information on the display indicates
that the corresponding phase (1, 2,3) is under
voltage.
Connection test and error displaying
The energymeter must be under voltage and the
measured circuit must be loaded.
Press the «reading» key during 3s to enter into the
connection test mode.
• Err 0 = no error
• Err 1 = inverted connection of phase 1 (L1 <=> L1’)
• Err 2 = inverted connection of phase 2 (L2 <=> L2’)
• Err 3 = inverted connection of phase 3 (L3 <=> L3’)
• Err 7 = voltage inversion between V1 and Neutral
• Err 8 = voltage inversion between V2 and Neutral
• Err 9 = voltage inversion between V3 and Neutral
Press the «reading» key during 3s to leave the
connection test mode.
This function can only be used if the installation
power factor is between 0.6 and 1 and 20% of

Programming
MANUAL Mode
This mode allows all the M-BUS communication
parameters to be congured manually: Primary
address, Speed.
AUTO Mode
This mode allows the communication speed to be
congured automatically.
Only the devices primary address needs to be
entered.
Using the secondary address: if this function is
used, only the speed needs to be congured (the
secondary address is xed and unique, and is
shown on the front face of the product).

This device has a digital LCD to display energy
used and power.

with Standard IEC 62053-21 requirements.

M-BUS MEDIA
In a standard conguration, an M-BUS connection
can be used to link up to 250* products with a PC
or PLC, over a range of 1000 metres**.
* depending on the M-BUS master
** depending on the number of products and the
communication speed.
Recommendations: the use of a JYSTY Nx2x0.8
mm (0.5 mm²) unshielded twisted pair is
recommended.
If the range of 1000 m and/or the limit of 250
products are exceeded, a repeater will need to be
connected.
-> f the 250 limit is exceeded: only use the
secondary address.
M-BUS protocol
The M-BUS protocol operates using a master/
slave structure.
EC368 (slave) units are compatible with both
primary and secondary addressing modes.
Primary addressing can
be congured via the
product interface.
Secondary addressing
uses a xed, unique
address shown on
the front face of the
product ( A ).
M-BUS EC368 units also have the «Wildcard
addressing» function which allows products to be
searched for on the M-BUS network.

To reset the partial meter
- Press the scrolling key several times in order to
display partial energy.
- Press the reset button during 3 sec.
The partial meter will be set to zero.
ERROR message: in case of bad wiring, an
«ERROR» message will be displayed.
- Check for each phase that current direction is in
line with wiring diagram.
- Check that the phase order L1, L2, L3 is in line
with the wiring diagram.
Note: the information on the display indicates
that the corresponding phase (1, 2,3) is under
voltage.
Connection test and error displaying
The energymeter must be under voltage and the
measured circuit must be loaded.
Press the «reading» key during 3s to enter into the
connection test mode.
• Err 0 = no error
• Err 1 = inverted connection of phase 1 (L1 <=> L1’)
• Err 2 = inverted connection of phase 2 (L2 <=> L2’)
• Err 3 = inverted connection of phase 3 (L3 <=> L3’)
• Err 7 = voltage inversion between V1 and Neutral
• Err 8 = voltage inversion between V2 and Neutral
• Err 9 = voltage inversion between V3 and Neutral
Press the «reading» key during 3s to leave the
connection test mode.
This function can only be used if the installation
power factor is between 0.6 and 1 and 20% of
Imax on each phase (minimum 20 A).
Programming
MANUAL Mode
This mode allows all the M-BUS communication
parameters to be congured manually: Primary
address, Speed.
AUTO Mode
This mode allows the communication speed to be
congured automatically.
Only the devices primary address needs to be
entered.
Using the secondary address: if this function is
used, only the speed needs to be congured (the
secondary address is xed and unique, and is
shown on the front face of the product).
