This series is cooling and heating heat recovery models.
Only when the system is equipped with VP device, indoor
units under dierent VP device can achieve cooling and
heating simultaneously. The modes of the indoors which
under the same Valve Package (following text called VP)
device should be the same. If the indoors connected without
VP device, the indoors only can do cooling mode.
Two-generation valve boxes VP*-*A and VP*-*B can’t be
mixed used in one system.
To protect compressor, before startup, the unit should be
electried for over 12 hours. If the unit is not used for a long
time, please cut o the power to save energy, or the unit will
consume the power.
Operation condition:
To use the air conditioner normally, please perform as to the
right conditions.
Warning
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied persons
in order to avoid a hazard.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
• Means for disconnection having a contact separation in all poles that provide full disconnection under overvoltage
category III conditions must be incorporated in the xed wiring in accordance with the wiring rules.
• The appliance shall be installed in accordance with national wiring regulations.
• Before connected to the supply mains, the supply cord of the units shall be connected to an all-pole full disconnection
cricuit breaker, which has has been approved per IEC 60898. Please refer to "Electric wiring and the application" on
page 23 for details.
• The installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is
advisable.
• The maximum working pressure is 4.15MPa. This maximum working pressure shall be considered when connecting
the outdoor unit to indoor units.
• The refrigerant used in the outdoor unit is R410A. Please refer to "Installation procedure" on page 20-21 of this manual
for the refrigerant charging.
• The outdoor unit shall only be connected to indoor units suitable for the same refrigerant.
• The unit is a partial unit air conditioner, complying with partial unit requirements of the International Standard, and must
only be connected to other units that have been conrmed as complying to corresponding partial unit requirements of
the International Standard.
