Whenservicingof PDPModule,it shouldbenotenforcedintoanotherway
asidenextrule,oraunaccustomed personshouldnotrepairing.When
using/handlingthisPDPModule,payattentiontothebelowwarningand
cautions.

Indicatesahazardthat mayleadtodeathorinjuryifthe warningisignored
and the productishandled incorrectly.

1)WARNING
(1)Donot touchSignaland PowerConnectorwhilethisproduct operates.
Donot touchEMI ground part and Heat Sinkof FilmFilter.
(2)Donot supplyavoltagehigherthanthat specifiedtothisproduct. Thismay
damage the productand maycauseafire.
(3)Donot usethisproductinlocationswherethe humidityisextremelyhigh,
whereit maybe splashed withwater,orwhereflammablematerialssurround
it.
Donotinstallorusethe productinalocationthat doesno satisfythe specified
environmentalconditions.Thismaydamage the productand maycauseafire.
(4)If aforeign substance(suchaswater, metal,orliquid)gets
inside the product,immediatelyturnoff the power.
Continuing tousetheproduct, itismaycausefireorelectricshock.
(5)If the productemitssmoke, and abnormalsmell,ormakes
an abnormalsound,immediatelyturnoff thepower.

connecting the connector.
(7)Donotpulloutorinsert the powercablefrom/toan outlet withwet hands. It
maycauseelectricshock.
(8)Donot damage ormodifythe powercable.It maycausefireorelectric
shock.
(9)If the powercableisdamaged, orif theconnectorisloose, donot usethe
product: otherwise, thiscanlead tofireorelectricshock.
(10)Ifthe powerconnectororthe connectorof the powercablebecomesdirty
ordusty, wipeit withadrycloth.0therwise, thiscan lead tofire.
(11)PDPModuleusesahigh voltage (Max.450Vdc). Keep thecautions
concerningelectricshock anddo not touchtheDevicecircuitrywhen handling
the PDPUnit. And becausethe capacitorof theDevicecircuitrymayremain

charged at the moment of PowerOFF, standing byfor1minuteisrequiredin
ordertotouchthe Devicecircuitry.
2)CAUTIONS
(1)Donot placethisproductinalocation thatissubject toheavy vibration, or
on an unstablesurfacesuchasan inclined surface.The product mayfalloff or
fallovercausing injuries.
(2)Beforedisconnecting cablefromthe product, be suretoturnoff the power.
Besuretoholdthe connectorwhen disconnectingcables. Pulling acablewith
excessiveforcemaycausethe coreof the cabletobe exposed orbreakthe
cable, and thiscan lead tofireorelectricshock.
(3)Thisproduct shouldbe moved bytwoormorepersons. Ifone person
attemptstocarrythisproduct alone, he/she maybe injured.
(4)Thisproductcontainsglass.The glass maybreak,causinginjuries,ifshock,
vibration, heat, ordistortion isapplied tothe product.
(5)The temperatureof the glass of the displaymayriseto80°Cormore
dependingon theconditionsof useIf you touchthe glass inadvertently, you
maybe burned.
(6)If glass surfaceof the displaybreaksorisscratched,do nottouchthe
broken piecesorthe scratcheswithbarehands.You maybe injured.
(7)PDPModulerequirestobehandled withcarenottobe touchedwithmetal
orhardmaterials, and must not be stressed byheat ormechanicalimpact.
(8)Therearesomeexposed componentson the rearpanelof thisproduct.
Touching thesecomponentsmaycausean electricshock.
(9)Whenmoving the product,be suretoturnoff the poweranddisconnect all
the cables.Whilemoving the product, watchyourstep.The product maybe
droppedorallleading toinjuriesof electricshock.
(10)Inordertoprotect staticelectricitydue toC-MOScircuitryof
the Drivepart, wearawrist band toprotect staticelectricity
when handling.
(11)If cleaning thePanel, wipe itwithasoft clothmoistened withwaterora
neutraldetergent and squeezed, being carefulnot totouchtheconnectorpart
of the Panel.And don’t usechemicalmaterialslikethinnerorbenzene.
(12)Ifthisproductisused asadisplayboardtodisplayastaticimage, “image
sticking”occurs.Thismeansthat theluminanceof areasof the displaythat
remainlitforalongtimedropscompared withluminanceofareasthatarelit for
ashortertime, causing unevenluminanceacross the displayThe degreeto
whichthisoccursisinproportion totheluminanceatwhichthe displayisused.
Toprevent thisphenomenon, therefore,avoidstaticimagesasmuchas
possibleand design yoursystemsothatitisused at alowluminance, by
reducing signalleveldifferencebetween bright area and less bright area
throughsignalprocessing.
(13)BecausePDPModuleemitsheat fromthe Glass Panelpartand the Drive
circuitry, the environmentaltemperaturemust not be over40°C.

internalDrivecircuitry.And becausethe PDPModuleisdrivenbyhigh voltage,
it must avoidconductivematerials.
(14)Ifinsertingcomponentsorcircuitboardinordertorepair, be suretofixa
leadline tothe connectorbeforesoldering.
(15)Ifinsertinghigh-powerresistor(metal-oxide filmresistorormetalfilm
resistor)inordertorepair,insertitas10mmawayasfromaboard.
(16)During repairs, highvoltage orhightemperaturecomponentsmust be put
awayfromalead line.
(17)ThisisaColdChassisbutyou had betteruseacoldtransformerforsafety
during repairs. Ifrepairing electricitysourcepart, you must usethe cold
transformer.
(18)Donot placean object on the glass surfaceof the display.Theglass may
breakorbe scratched.
(19)Thisproduct maybe damaged ifitissubject toexcessivestresses(such
asexcessivevoltage, current, ortemperature).
The absolutemaximumratingsspecifythelimitsof thesestresses.
(20)The recommended operating conditionsareconditionsinwhichthe
normaloperation of thisproductisguaranteed.Allthe rated valuesof the
electricalspecificationsareguaranteed withintheseconditions.
Always usethe product withinthe range of therecommended operating
conditions. Otherwise, the reliabilityof theproduct maybe degraded.
(21)Thisproduct hasaglass displaysurface.Design yoursystemsothat
excessiveshock and load arenot appliedtothe glass. Exercisecarethat the
vent at thecornerofthe glass panelisnot damaged If the glasspanelorvent
isdamaged, the productisinoperable.
(22)Donot coverorwrap the product withaclothorothercovering while
powerissupplied tothe product.
(23)Beforeturning onpowertotheproduct, check the wiringof theproduct
and confirmthat the supplyvoltage iswithintherated voltage range.If the
wiringiswrong orif avoltage outsidethe ratedrangeisapplied,the product
maymalfunction orbe damaged.
(24)Donotstorethisproductinalocation wheretemperatureand humidityare
high.Thismaycausethe product tomalfunction. Becausethisproduct usesa
discharge phenomenon,it maytaketimetolight (operation maybe
delayed)when theproductisusedafterithasbeen stored foralongtime. In
thiscase,itisrecommended tolightallcellsforabout 2hours(aging).
(25)Thisproductismade fromvariousmaterialssuchasglass metal, and
plastic. When discarding it,be suretocontactaprofessionalwastedisposal
operator.
(26)Iffaultsoccurdue toarbitrarymodificationordisassembly,
HAIERisnot responsibleforfunction, qualityorotheritems.
(27)Useof the product withacombination ofparametersconditionsorlogic
not specified inthe specificationsof thisproduct isnot guaranteed. If intending
tousetheproductinsuchaway, be suretoconsult HAIERinadvance.
