When using the remotecontrol, aim it

2.Load two 5#alkaline batteries inthe compartment. (plusand minus polesto
respective mark)

Ensure that you connect the grounding / earth wire to prevent possible
electrician install aseparatecircuit breaker. Donot try to ground the
unit by connectingit to telephone wires, lighteningrods, or gaspipes.

Youcan use yourLCD-TVasamonitor for yourpersonal computer usinga VGA
cable (not supplied).
VGA Input
Connection anduse steps:
1.Read the userguide supplied with
your computer and ensurethat it has
aVGAconnector;
2.Make surethat thepower of the LCD
3.Connect aDtype 15-pin VGAinterface
cable (not supplied ) to the VGAvideo
interface connector on thePC. Then
connect theother end to thePCvideo
interface connector on theback of the
LCD-TV.Tighten the screwson the VGA
connected;
and then turn on the power of thePC;
5.Press theTV/AVbutton to set thevideo
input modeof theLCD-TV to PC;
6.Check theimage onyour TV. Theremay benoise associated with theresolution,
vertical pattern,contrast or brightness in PC mode.If noiseis present,change
the PCmode to another resolution,change therefresh rateto another rate or
adjust thebrightness and contrast on the menu until thepicture isclear.If the
refresh rateof thePCgraphiccard can not bechanged,change thePCgraphic
card or consult themanufacturer of the PCgraphic card.

Connection and use steps:
1.Read the user guide supplied with your AV devices and ensure that it has
S-Video connectors;
and then turn on the power of the AV
device;
4.Press the TV/AV button to set the video
input mode of the LCD-TV to SVIDEO
mode .
Connection Option 1
Set VCR output switch to 3 or 4 and then
tune TV to the same channel number.
Connection Option 2
1. Connect the audio and Svideo cables
from the VCR's output jacks to the TV
2. Insert a video tape into the VCR and
press PLAY on the VCR. (Refer to the
VCR owners manual.)

Basic OperatingInstructions
Turnon theLCD-TV
When the POWER button on the remotecontrol ispressed
and theLCD-TV isturned on,the indicator light onthe front of
the LCD-TV changesfrom red togreen. When theLCD-TV is
standby modeand theindicator light turns red.
Note:
The displayof theinput modewill disappear in about 8
seconds.
Youcan also turn onthe TVfrom standbymode bypressing
the digits(1-9) orP+/- .
Each time you press the TV/AV button, PC, COMPONENT,HDMI,TV ,SCART,
SVIDEO, will appear on the screen .

Audio Control
1.Press the V+ buttonto increasethe volume.Anumber will appear on
screen indicating the volumelevel.
2.Press the V- button to decrease thevolume.Anumber will appear on
screen indicating the volumelevel.
Mute
1.Press the MUTE button to mute thesound temporarily.Amute icon
appears on the screen.
2.Press the MUTE button again or V+/V- to restorethe sound.
The muteicon disappears.

Basic OperatingInstructions
Select theTV ChannelYouWant
You can use the number keys on the remote control to directly select TV
channels.
The LCD-TVcan store up to 100 channels, and you can press the keys on the
remote control or on the panel to makeaselection.
Picture Mode
Press PSM button on the remotecontrol for menu display.For desired modeas
follows:
PERSONAL STANDARD MILD FRESH
1.Press therelevant keyon theremote control if you want to choose anychannel
from 0to 9. for example:if you want to choose channel 8, just press thekey
number 0and 8.
Tochoose channels from0 to 9)
2.If youwant tochoose achannel biggerthan 9,please enterthe twodigitsofthe
channel number you want to watch within 3 seconds. for example: select
channel 16

1. Press MENU button to display the main menu, and V+/V-to select the
main menu .
2. Press P+/P- to scroll through the options
3. Press V+/V- buttons to make changes to the parameters
4. Press the OK button to exit the menu
because it is just an example to help you with the TV operation.
Picture quality can be adjusted for any input separately .
The picture quality on the screen can be adjusted as follows:
1. Press MENU button andV+/V- until the following menu appears
on the screen.
2. Press P+/P- button to enter the picture menu and to go up and down to
select the desired option .

selected option toyour preference .
4. Repeat step 2and step 3 until desired picturequality hasbeen achieved .
Function:
BRIGHTNESS:Adjust the brightness ofthe picture . By increasing the level,it
will add more light to dark parts of the pictureand bydecreasing thelevel ,it will
add moredark to light partsof thepicture.
CONTRAST :Adjust the contrast of thepicture .The imagebecomes higher as
the number increase.
SHARPNESS:Adjust the amount of thedetail enhancement , theimage
sharpness risesas thenumber increases(By increasing the level,it will show
cleaner and clearerimages and bydecreasing the level,it will makepicture
smoother).
COLOUR: Press V+/V- to adjust the colour
NOISEREDUCE:Adjust the qualityof the pictureby selecting OFF,LOW,MID,HIGH.
HUE:Adjust the toneof the picture. Appearand be adjustedonly under NTSC
mode
COLOURTEMP. :Press to select thecolour temperaturefrom WARM/NORMAL/
COLD .
H.POSITION :Picture horizontal adjust
V.POSITION: Picture verticalposition adjust .

BASS:Adjust the bassof thesound .Can onlybe adjust under PERSONALmode .
TREBLE:Adjust thetreble of thesound .Canonly be adjustunder PERSONAL
mode .
AUDIO MODE:Press V+/V- to select among PERSONAL,VOICE, MUSICand
THEATRE.

5.BLUESCREEN:To set On, thescreen will be inblue screen after 3seconds
if thereis no signal.

If lockon modeis set,child lock is inactivated automatically.In such case, buttons
on thetelevision isuseless and only buttonson remotecontrol can be used,if child
lock button(button on thetelevision) ispressed, thescreen will display
CHILD LOCK. The child lock modecan beresumed byentering lock set menu,
set child lock on .
