Your child’s safety depends on the proper installaon
and use of this booster seat. Even if this booster
seat seems easy to install and use on your own, it
is to read and understand these
instrucons and the vehicle owner’s manual.

wrien instrucons.

improve the chances for survival and reduce the risk of
serious injury in most crashes.
Carefully follow the instrucons in this manual and in
your vehicle owner’s manual. If there is a discrepancy
between the two, the vehicle owner’s manual must take
precedence with regards to seat belts and/or airbags.

(NHTSA) recommends keeping your child in a forward-
facing car seat with a harness unl they reach the top
height or weight limit allowed by your car
seat’s manufacturer. Once your child outgrows
the forward-facing car seat with a harness, it’s
me to travel in a booster seat, but sll in the
back seat. For more informaon, please visit

NHTSA and the U.S. Department of Transportaon
recommends that children under the age of 13 years be
placed in the back seat of the vehicle and away from

installed. In very few vehicles, the booster seat cannot
be properly installed because of the type of seat, seat
belt system and/or airbag system. Read and follow
these instrucons, and your vehicle owner’s manual
carefully.

This child restraint system conforms to Federal
Motor Vehicle Safety Standards secon 213.2, and
for use in passenger motor vehicles.
This restraint is for aircra use.
This booster seat must be used in homes, boats,
buses, motorcycles, motor homes, or any other vehicles
that have non-forward-facing seats, missing seat belts,
or whose seat belts do not meet the requirements of
this booster seat.
This booster seat is compable with vehicle child
restraint ower nchors and ethers for ildren
(LATCH).
An inang airbag may cause serious injury or death.
Refer to your vehicle owner’s manual for informaon
about airbags and booster seat installaon.
This booster seat may be used in a rear seang posion
equipped with side impact airbags providing they are:
• Roof mounted;
• “Curtain” type deployment;
• Will interfere with, impact or in any way
reposion the booster seat when inated.
Please refer to your vehicle owner’s manual for airbag
type, and for appropriate use with booster seats.

Some seang posions in your vehicle may be
safe for this booster seat. Some vehicles have
seang posions which are compable with this

Children aged 13 and under ride in the rear
seats, away from front airbags. The only excepon is
if the airbags are turned o. When using a booster
seat in a vehicle with airbags, refer to the vehicle
owner’s manual for addional

• Seats which face sides of vehicle.
• Seats which face rear of vehicle.
• Rear seats of small extended cab pickup trucks.

Only use this booster seat in forward-facing vehicle
seats. Side-facing or rear-facing seats in vans, staon
wagons or trucks be used.

Harmony Juvenile Products recommends that you
conrm state laws with local authories. Laws
vary from state to state regarding minimum / maximum
booster seat requirements for age, weight and height.
Your child must meet requirements:
• : Between 30 - 110 lbs. (13.6 - 50 kg).
• : Between 34 - 57 inches (86.4 - 144.8 cm).
• The shoulder belt lie across child’s shoulder and
the lap poron of the belt be posioned low on
the child’s hips.
• Child’s ears the top of the booster
seat (with backrest) ❶ or the top of the vehicle seat
back/vehicle headrest (without backrest) ❷. If tops
of ears are above the top of the booster seat or vehicle
seat back/vehicle headrest, child is too large for the
booster seat.

1. Idenfy both the headrest and backrest. Ensure that
the headrest and the backrest side impact
supports face you (both face the same direcon).
2. Push the Headrest Height Adjuster. While holding
the buon pressed in, insert
the rectangular extension of the
headrest into the opening at the
top of the backrest as far as it will
go ❶.
3. While holding the Headrest Height
Adjuster pressed in, push down
hard unl the headrest is fully
inserted. Press buon to lower the headrest to the
desired posion.
: If you have diculty inserng headrest, try
rocking headrest side to side
as you push down to insert
one side, then the other.
: If you are sll having problems
inserng the headrest, follow
steps #1-2 above, then turn
the enre unit upside-down
and, with the Headrest
Height Adjuster pressed in,
force headrest into backrest
by pressing down against the
oor. Turn unit upright and check if headrest is
properly inserted in backrest ❷.

1. Insert ‘T-Shape’ plasc extensions on base of backrest
into the corresponding slots on seat base ❶.
2. Push unl both insert ❷.
3. While holding fabric down at rear of seat base, slowly
swing the backrest upwards, whereby locking the
backrest into place ❸. The hook-and-loop poron
of the fabric at rear of seat should be the
backrest ❹.
3. Secure fabric ❺.
4. To remove backrest, repeat previous steps in reverse
order.

disable the airbag. Failure to disable the airbag system
can result in serious injury or death. Follow the vehicle
owner’s manual for instrucons on disabling the front
airbag system.

belt use with booster seat systems.

seat belts are compable for use with this booster seat.

This booster seat can be installed properly using
vehicle 3-point lap-and-shoulder seat belts. However,
some vehicle seat belts are not safe to use as their
anchoring points may not allow for a secure installaon.
use any unsafe vehicle seat belt systems.
use any of the following vehicle seat belt
systems with this booster seat:
use a non-locking, 2-point
vehicle seat belt (ELR). This seat
belt type locks only when the
vehicle slows, changes direcon or
stops suddenly.
use motor driven automac
seat belts.
use a vehicle seat belt
system where the lap and shoulder
belts have independent retractors.
use a vehicle seat belt
the vehicle shoulder belt’s posion is correct
for your child’s size. .
