belt types and/or airbag systems. Read and follow
these instrucons, and your vehicle owner’s manual
carefully.

your child is not properly secured in the booster seat.
leave folding vehicle seats unlatched. In
the event of a sharp turn, sudden stop or crash, a
loose seat back could prevent the booster seat from
protecng the child as well as it should.
leave loose objects, e.g. books, bags, etc.,
in the back of a vehicle. In the event of a sharp turn,
sudden stop or crash, loose objects will keep moving,
potenally causing serious injuries.
Store the booster seat in a safe place when not in use.
place heavy objects on top of the booster
seat while in storage.

touch the surface of any metal or plasc parts
before pung your child in the booster seat. Cover the
booster seat with a towel or blanket when the vehicle
is parked in direct sunlight.

This booster seat conforms to Canada Motor Vehicle
Safety Standard 213.2 and is cered for use in
passenger motor vehicles only. This restraint is
for aircra.
This booster seat must be used in homes, boats,
buses, motorcycles, motor homes, or any other vehicles
that have non-forward-facing seats, missing seat belts,
or whose seat belts do not meet the requirements of
this booster seat.

An inang airbag may cause serious injury or death.
Refer to your vehicle owner’s manual for informaon
about airbags and booster seat installaon.
This booster seat may be used in a rear seang posion
equipped with side impact airbags providing they are:
• Roof mounted;
• “Curtain” type deployment;
• Will interfere with, impact or in any way
reposion the booster seat when inated.
Please refer to your vehicle owner’s manual for airbag
type, and for appropriate use with booster seats.

extra padding could aect the safety of the booster
seat and result in serious injury or death in a crash.

tested accessories can aect the safety of the booster
seat.

safe for this booster seat. Some vehicles have
seang posions which are compable with this
booster seat. If in doubt, consult your vehicle owner’s
manual or call Harmony Juvenile Products.

Transport Canada reports that according to accident
stascs, children aged 12 and under are safest when
riding in the seats, away from front airbags. The
only excepon is if airbags are turned o. When using
a booster seat in a vehicle with airbags, refer to the
vehicle owner’s manual for addional booster seat
installaon instrucons and
precauons.

Only use this booster seat in forward-facing vehicle
seats. Side-facing or rear-facing seats in vans, staon
wagons or trucks be used.

1. Idenfy both the headrest and backrest. Ensure that
the headrest and the backrest side impact
supports face you (both face the same direcon).
2. Insert the rectangular extension
of the headrest into the opening
at the top of the backrest
(see illustraon).
3. With both hands, push down hard
and quickly unl the headrest is
fully inserted.
: If you have diculty inserng headrest, try rocking
headrest side to side as you push down to insert
one side, then the other.

1. Insert ‘T-Shape’ plasc extensions on base of
backrest into the corresponding slots on seat base
❶.
2. Push unl both insert with a ‘click’ ❷.
3. While holding fabric down at rear of seat base, slowly
swing the backrest upwards, whereby locking the
backrest into place ❸. The hook-and-loop poron
of the fabric at rear of seat should be the
backrest ❹.
3. Secure fabric ❺.
4. Reverse the above steps to unassemble backrest.
In very few vehicles, the booster seat cannot be
properly installed because of the type of seat, seat

disable the airbag. Failure to disable the airbag system
can result in serious injury or death. Follow the vehicle
owner’s manual for instrucons on disabling the front
airbag system.

belt use with booster seat systems.
. You must determine if your vehicle’s
seat belts are compable for use with this booster seat.

This booster seat can be installed properly using
vehicle 3-point lap/shoulder seat belts. However, some
vehicle seat belts are not safe to use as their anchoring
points may not allow for a secure installaon.
use any unsafe vehicle seat belt systems.

use a non-locking, 2-point
vehicle seat belt (ELR). This seat
belt type locks only when the
vehicle slows, changes direcon or
stops suddenly.

system where the lap and shoulder
belts have independent retractors.
use a vehicle seat belt
system with top or boom
anchorage points aached to the
door in any way.
use lap belts whose anchor
points are forward of the seat
