damaged.Thebatteriescanexplodeinafire.
The product does not have to be plugged into an
electrical outlet, therefore it is always in operating
condition.Beawareofpossiblehazardswhenusing
theproductorwhenchangingaccessories.
Remove battery when the spot cleaner is not in
use and before servicing. Disconnect the battery
pack from the appliance before making any
adjustments, changing accessories, or storing
appliance. Such preventative measures reduce
the risk of starting the appliance accidentally.

CHARGER TO WATER, MOISTURE, OR FLUIDS,
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CORROSIVE
OR CONDUCTIVE FLUIDS, OR ALLOW FLUIDS
TO FLOW INSIDE THESE ITEMS.
Corrosiveorconductivefluids,suchassaltwater,
chlorine, certain industrial chemicals, and bleach
or bleach containing products, etc., can cause a
shortcircuitinthebatterypack.Ifyourbatterypack
isexposed to a corrosiveor conductive fluid,do
notattempttouseorchargethebatterypackand
immediatelyperformthefollowingsteps:
• Wearappropriatepersonalprotectiveequipment,
includingeyeprotectionandrubbergloves.
• Placeyourexposedbatterypackinalargebucket,
suchasa5gallonorsimilarbucket,andfillthe
bucketwithregulartapwater.Donotplacemore
thantwopacksinthebucket.
• Locatethebucketoutdoorsinanareainaccessible
tochildrenandpetsandawayfromallbuildings,
garages/sheds, structures, vehicles, and
combustible/flammablematerials.
• Leavethebatterypack(s)inthebucketfilledwith
tap water and call Customer Service at 1-800-
776-5191foradditionalinstructionsontheproper
disposaloftheexposedbatterypack(s).
Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the
switch is in the off-position before connecting
to power source and/or battery pack, picking up
or carrying the product. Carryingbatteryproducts
withyourfingerontheswitchorenergizingbattery
productsthathavetheswitchoninvitesaccidents.
Recharge only with the charger specified by the
manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one
type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when
usedwithanotherbatterypack.
Use spot cleaner only with specifically designated
battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may
createariskofinjuryandfire.
When battery pack is not in use, keep it away
from other metal objects like: paper clips, coins,
keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects
that can make a connection from one terminal
to another. Shorting the battery terminals together
maycausesparks,burns,orafire.
Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected
from the battery; avoid contact. If contact
accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid
contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help.
Liquidejectedfromthebatterymaycauseirritation
orburns.
Do not use a battery pack or product that is
damaged or modified. Damaged or modified
batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior
resultinginfire,explosionorriskofinjury.
Follow all charging instructions and do not
chargethebatterypackorproductoutsideofthe
temperature range specified in the instructions.
Chargingimproperlyorattemperaturesoutsideof
the specified range may damage the battery and
increasetheriskoffire.
Have servicing performed by a qualified repair
person using only identical replacement parts.
This will ensure that the safety of the product is
maintained.
Do not modify or attempt to repair a product or
battery pack that has been damaged.
Use this product only with batteries and chargers
listed in tool/appliance/battery pack/charger
correlation supplement 995000850.
Always remove battery pack from your product
when you are assembling parts, making
adjustments, cleaning, or when not in use.
Removing battery pack will prevent accidental
startingthatcouldcauseseriouspersonalinjury.
To reduce the risk of serious personal injury,
never use or expose battery pack or any cordless
product in the presence of an open flame or
temperature above 265°F. Anexploded battery
canpropeldebrisandchemicals.Ifexposed,flush
withwaterimmediately.
Do not charge battery in a damp or wet location.
Do not use, store, or charge battery packs or
products in locations where the temperature is
less than 50°F or more than 100°F. Donotstore
outsideorinvehicles.
Duringcharging,thepackandambienttemperature
shouldbebetween41°to86°F(5°and30°C).
Protect your lungs. Wear a face or dust mask
if the operation is dusty. Following this rule will
reducetheriskofseriouspersonalinjury.

Remove to a hard surface and place unit on

ASSEMBLING THE SPOT CLEANER
See Figures 1 - 4, page 9.
Removethebatterypack.
Aligntheraisedtabontheendofthehosewiththe
latch on the pet tool and press together until the
latchsnapsintoplace.
Slidehoseclipsintothegroovesonthebottomof
thespotcleaner.Pressfirmlyuntilfullyseated.
Wrapthehosearoundthespotcleaner.
Placethehoseinsidetheclipsatthebottomofthe
spotcleanerandplacethepettoolinsidetheclip
onthebackofthespotcleaner.
