TO AVOID BATTERY LEAKAGE
1. Always follow the instructions carefully. Use only batteries specified and be sure to insert them correctly by matching the +
and – polarity markings.
2. Do not mix old batteries and new batteries or standard (carbon-zinc) with alkaline batteries.
3. Remove exhausted or dead batteries from the product.
4. Remove batteries if product is not to be played with for a long time.
5. Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
6. RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES: Do not mix these with any other types of batteries. Always remove from the product before
recharging. Recharge batteries under adult supervision. DO NOT RECHARGE OTHERTYPES OF BATTERIES.
Should this product cause, or be affected by, local electrical interference, move it away from other electrical equipment. Reset
(switching off and back on again or removing and re-inserting batteries) if necessary.

1. First, press Cavity Sam’s nose.
This starts a timer and turns
on the X-ray scanner!
2. Quickly take a card from the
top of the ailment card pile,
and place it face up in front
of you.

1. Choose a flat surface, such as
a table or the floor, where all
players can reach.
2. Place the X-ray scanner in the
centre of play.
3. Arrange the 10 X-ray cards in
2-3 rows next to the scanner.
4. Shuffle and place the 40
ailment cards face down in
a pile where all players can
reach them.

2. Attach the wheels to
the X-ray scanner.
3. Next, pick up any X-ray card
and place it on the scanner.

4. BZZZZT! When the buzzer
goes off and Sam’s red nose
lights up, your turn is over.
• Keep any matched ailment
cards in your pile to count at
the end of the game.
• If you have an unmatched
ailment card, put it back
at the bottom of the
unmatched ailment card pile.
5. Now it’s the next
player’s turn.
Keep playing until all of the
ailment cards have been
matched up.
