Testing of HAUG ring ionizer, air gate and annular electrode: l
Page 3
For testing, press the pushbutton and guide the test instrument vertically towards the ionizing
pins.
The LED will first light up RED; when the probe makes contact, the LED must be GREEN if the
ionizer is operating correctly.
Changing the battery: l
To change the battery, remove the two screws on the rear cover. Open the Multicheck and
replace the battery (9 V monobloc battery). Reclose the unit using the two screws.
Technical data: l
Housing dimensions: approx. 155 x 42 x 22 mm
Power supply: 9 Volt monobloc battery
General instructions: l
A defective ionizing bar may cause a short-circuit in the high voltage of the power pack.
The high voltage cannot be checked in this case. The ionizing units must therefore be
disconnected from the power pack. The power pack can then be checked for proper functioning.
If the power pack is ok, the ionizing units can be reconnected to the power pack and checked
one after another. This test sequence therefore allows both defective ionizing units and high-
voltage power packs to be identified.
INFORMATION!
To check the power packs, we recommend using the Powercheck or
Combicheck.
