A new generation of wireless LAN solutions is now
allowing dynamic mobile work forces the freedom to be
productive from any location within their business or
home. A wireless LAN standard called IEEE 802.11b has
emerged, delivering speeds up to 11 Mbps and the ability
to create wireless LANs that stretch from one end of the
company to another. This WU250 Compact USB Wireless
LAN Adapter with built-in Antenna is designed to connect
your Desktop or Notebook computer to Wireless LAN. It
can work with Ad-Hoc (Peer to Peer) and Infrastructure
(Access Point) Wireless LAN configurations. The WU250
is compliant with IEEE 802.11b standard and can work
with a multi-vendor Wireless LAN platform.
Fast, Reliable and Secure
The Hawking WU250 USB Wireless Adapter delivers
network speeds up to 11Mbps…. five times faster than
previous wireless LAN products. Using dynamic rate
shifting to create a reliable connection, each Wireless
Adapter supports up to 32 simultaneous users at a
distance of up to 1000ft (300m) for outdoor use and 328ft
(100m) for indoor use. It also features Wires Equivalent
Privacy (WEP) -compliant data encryption using
encryption keys, MAC Address Control and user
authentication to ensure a fast, reliable and secure
network connection.
Easy to Install, Use and Manage
The Hawking WU250 adapter can be easily installed on
your Windows 98/2000/ME/XP computers. The easy to
use Wireless Utility software allows you to configure and
manage your Wireless network easily.

automatically detect it and install

WEP security and you are ready
to go.
