1. InstallalkalinetypeA2312voltpushbutton
battery(included). Remove back of case by
pushingintabonbottomwithasmallscrew-
driver(seeFigure1).Seediagraminsidepush
buttonforcorrectbatteryorientation.Note: If
batteries are preinstalled, remove orange
batterytab.
2. Openchimecase. Press in both catches on
the bottom of the chime and lift the case open
(seeFigure2).
3. Install 3 alkaline “D” batteries. Make sure
batteriesareorientedproperly(seeFigure3).
4. Test range. Temporarily position chime and
pushbuttonwhereyouwantthemmounted.
Press push button to verify chime and push
buttonworkproperly.Ifchimedoesnotsound,
see Troubleshooting.
5. Adjust volume control. Adjust volume control
todesiredvolume(seeFigure3).

7. Mount chime. Chime can be mounted by using 3
holesinthebackofcase,orbyusing2screwswith
keyholes.

beforedrilling.
• Drilltwo7/32"diameterpilotholesforwallanchorsandinsertanchors.
• Mountkeyholescrewstowallleavingabout1/8"(3mm)ofthescrewthreads
exposed.
• Snapcoverontochimebase.Alignbottomedgeofcasewithbottomofbackplate.
Rotatetopofcasetowardbackplateandsnapintoposition(seeFigure7).
• Usingkeyholesonbackofchimebase,hangbaseonscrews(seeFigure5).

A. Chime does not sound:
• Makesurepushbuttonandchimecodesarethesame(seeFigure9).
• Checkorientationofpushbuttonandchimebatteries.(Seediagraminside
pushbuttonandchimeforcorrectbatteryorientation.)
• Checkchargeofpushbuttonandchimebatteries,replaceifnecessary.
B.Chimesoundswhennotintended(falsetriggers):Chime is receiving
interference from another wireless device; change the code setting (see
Code Settingbelow).
C.BatteriesseemOK,butthechimedoesnotworkwheninstalled:
• Donotmountchimeorpushbuttononmetalornearmetalstuds.This
reducesthetransmitterrange.Use1/4"to1/2"(6to13mm)woodshims
tomovechimeorpushbuttonoffmetalsurface.
• Concreteoorsmayreducerange.Movechimeawayfromoor.
• Trylocatingchimeclosertopushbutton.
D. Code Setting:
It is recommended to only change one code position at a time and then check
toseeifsystemisfunctioningproperly.
1. Openthecasesandlocatethejumpersonboththepushbuttonandchime
(seeFigure9).
2. Thepushbuttonandchimebothhaveeightdifferentjumperlocations.Jumper
positions1through7areusedforsettingthecode.

Esta campana requiere 3 pilas alcalinas tipo “D” (no incluidas). Con un
usonormal,laspilasalcalinasduraránhastatresaños.
1. InstalarpilaalcalinadebotóntipoA23de12
voltios(Seincluye). Extraer la parte posterior
de la caja presionando la aleta en el botón
conundestornilladorpequeño ( vea la Figura
1) .Veaeldiagramadentrodelpulsadorpara
laorientacióncorrectadelapila. Nota: Si las
bateríasestánpreinstaladas,quite la aleta
anaranjadadelasbaterías.
2. Abra lacajade la campana. Presione los
dos seguros que se hallan al fondo del timbre
y levante la caja ( vea la Figura 2) .
3. Coloque las 3 pilas alkalinas “D”. Asegú-
rese de que estén correctamente colocadas
( vea la Figura 3) .
4. Pruebe el alcance. Ponga provisionalmente
la campana y el pulsador en la posición donde
losquierainstalar.Presioneelpulsadorpara
verificar que la campanay el pulsador funcio-

5. Ajuste del control del volumen. Regule el control de
volumen al nivel deseado ( vea la Figura 3) .
6. Instale el pulsador. Use ya sean tornillos o cinta
adhesivaporambascarasparainstalarelpulsador.
• Montaje con tornillos: Para montar con tornillos,
quitelapartedeatrásdelacajaempujandohacia
adentro la lengüeta de abajo con un destornillador
pequeñoygirandolacuchilla(vealaFigura1).Nota:
Quite la suciedad de los orificios para tornillos (si es
necesario)antesdeponerlostornillos.Coloquela
partedeatrásdelacajacontralajambaolapared
(vealaFigura4).Encajeapresiónlapartefrontal
delpulsador.
• Montaje con cinta adhesiva: Cuando fije el
pulsador usando cinta adhesiva por ambas caras,

A. La campana no suena:
• Asegúresequeloscódigosdelpulsadorydelacampanaseanlosmismos
(vealaFigura9).
• Reviselaposicióndelpulsadoryladelasbateríasdelacampana.(Veael
diagrama dentro del pulsador y de la campana para la orientación correcta
delabatería.)
• Reviselacargadelasbateríasdelpulsadorydelacampana,reemplácelas
siesnecesario.
B.Lacampanasuenasinrazón(falsaactivación):Lacampanaestáreci-
biendointerferenciadeotrodispositivoinalámbrico;cambieloscódigos(vea
abajo la Configuración de Códigos).
C.Lapilasparecenestarbuenasperolacampananofuncionaunavez
instalada:
• Noinstalelacampanaoelpulsadorsobresuperciesmetálicasocercade

1. Installation de la pile alcaline 12V de type
A23 pour bouton-poussoir (Compris).Ôtez
la partie arrière du boîtier en enfonçant la patte
du bas au moyen d’un petit tournevis (voir la
Figure1).Voirlabonneorientationdelapilesurle
schémaàl'intérieurdel'unitédebouton-poussoir.
Note :Silespilessontdéjàenplace,retirez

2. Pour ouvrir le boîtier du carillon :Enfoncezles
deuxtaquetsdudessousdel’appareil,etsoulevez
leboîtierpourl’ouvrir(voirlaFigure2).
3. Installez 3 piles alcalines « D ».Prenez
soin d’orienter les piles correctement (voir
laFigure3).
4. Plage d’essai.Positionnez temporairement le
carillon et l’unité de bouton-poussoir à l’endroit
oùvousvoulezlesmonter.Enfoncezlebouton-
poussoir pour vous assurer que celui-ci et le
carillonfonctionnentcorrectement.Silecarillonne
retentitpas,consultezlasection«Dépannage».
5. Réglage du volume. Réglez le volumeà
l’intensité souhaitée (voirlaFigure3).

7. Montezl’unitélecarillon. Il est possible d’installer le carillon en utilisant les
3trousdudosduboîtierouenutilisantdeuxvisaveclestrousdeserrure.

• Marquezdeuxemplacementspourlesorices,séparésde6cm(23/8po).

celles-ci.
• Fixezlesvisdanslesancragesenlaissantdépasserenviron3mm(1/8po)

• Enclenchezlecouverclesurlabaseducarillon. Alignezlerebordinférieur
duboîtieraveclebordinférieurdelaplaquearrière.Faitestournerlehaut

Dépannage
A. Le carillon ne sonne pas:
• Assurez-vousquelescodesdel’unitédebouton-poussoiretducarillon
sontidentiques(voirlaFigure9).
• Vériezl’orientationdespilesdubouton-poussoiretducarillon.(Consultez
le diagramme à l’intérieur du bouton-poussoir et du carillon pour connaître
l’orientationappropriéedespiles.)
• Vériez l’état de charge des piles de l’unité de bouton-poussoir etdu
carillon,etremplacez-lessinécessaire.
B.Lecarillonsedéclenchesansraison(déclenchementsintempestifs):
