double sided tape, make sure the surface of the door

6. Mount chime. Determine mounting location.
 Thereare three differentways to mountthe chime
depending upon the model of chime purchased. De-
terminewhichmodelyoupurchasedbelow.Mountthe
chime according to the instructions for your chime.

Troubleshooting
Whenthepushbuttondesignatedforthe“Ding-Dong”
toneispressed,onlya“Dong”notewillplaywhenbatterypowerislowin
chime unit.
B. Chime does not sound:
• Makesurepushbuttonandchimecodesarethesame(seeFigure9).
• Checkorientationofpushbuttonandchimebatteries.(Seediagraminside
push button and chime for correct battery orientation.)
• Checkchargeofpushbuttonandchimebatteries,replaceifnecessary.
Chimeisreceiving
interference from another wireless device; change the code setting (see
Code Settingbelow).

• Donotmountchimeorpushbuttononmetalornearmetalstuds.This
reducesthetransmitterrange.Use1/4"to1/2"(6to13mm)woodshims
to move chime or push button off metal surface.
• Concreteoorsmayreducerange.Movechimeawayfromoor.
• Trylocatingchimeclosertopushbutton.
E. Code Setting:
It is recommended to only change one code position at a time and then check
to see if system is functioning properly.
1. Openthecasesandlocatethejumpersonthepushbuttonandtheswitches
onthechime(seeFigure9).
2. Thepushbuttonhaseightdifferentjumperlocationsandthechimehasseven
switches.Jumperpositions1through7onthepushbuttonandtheswitches
on the chime are used for setting the code.
3. Tochangethecode,either:
• Addajumpertothepushbuttonandsetthematchingchimeswitchto
“ON”or...
• Removeajumperonthepushbuttonandsetthematchingchimeswitch
to“OFF”or...
• Moveajumperonthechimefromonelocationtoanother.Setthematching
twodipswitchesonthepushbuttontomatchthejumpersettingsonthe
chime.
 Example:Inthechime,movethechimejumperatlocation“5”tolocation
“4”.Inthepushbutton,setthe“5”dipswitchtoOFFandthe“4”dipswitch
to ON.

Esta campana requiere 4 pilas alcalinas tipo “C” (no incluidas).Conuso

1. Instalar pila alcalina de botón tipo A23
de 12 voltios (Se incluye). Extraer la parte

5. Monte el pulsador. Use ya sean tornillos o cinta
adhesiva por ambas caras para instalar el pulsador.
•  Para montar con tornillos,
quitelapartedeatrásdelacajaempujandohacia
adentro la lengüeta de abajo con un destornillador
pequeño y girando la cuchilla (vea la Figura 1).Nota:
Quitelasuciedaddelosoriciosparatornillos(sies
necesario)antesdeponerlostornillos.Coloquela
partedeatrásdelacajacontralajambaolapared
(vea la Figura 4). Encaje a presión la parte frontal
del pulsador.
•   Cuando fije el
pulsador usando cinta adhesiva por ambas caras,

6. Monte la campana. Determine el sitio para el montaje.

debouton-poussoir.
• Au moyen de vis : Pour faire l’installation avec
lesvis,enlevezledosduboîtierenpoussantsur
les agrafes de la base avec un tournevis (voir la
Figure 1). Note :Enlevezlesdébrisdestrousde
vis(aubesoin)avantd’installerlesvis.Fixezledos
du boîtier au chambranle ou au mur (voir la Figure
4).Enclenchezlapartieavantdel’unitédebouton-
poussoir en place.
• Lorsquevousmon-
tezl’unitédebouton-poussoirenutilisantduruban
adhésifdoubleface,assurez-vousquelasurface
du montant de porte ou du mur est propre.
 Déterminezl’emplacementdel’installation.
