1. InstallalkalinetypeA2312voltpushbutton
battery(included). Remove back of case by
pushingintabonbottomwithasmallscrew-
driver(seeFigure1).Seediagraminsidepush
buttonforcorrectbatteryorientation.Note: If
batteries are preinstalled, remove orange
batterytab.
2. Install 3 alkaline “D” batteries. Make sure
batteriesareorientedproperly(seeFigure2).
3. Test range. Temporarily position chime and
pushbutton where youwant it mounted.
Press push button to verify chime and push
button work properly.Ifchimedoesnot
sound, see Troubleshooting.
4. Adjust volume control. Adjust volume control
todesiredvolume(seeFigure2).

5. Mount push button.Use either screwsordouble

• Screw Mounting: Tomountwith screws,remove
backofcasebypushingintabonbottomwithasmall
screwdriver(seeFigure1).Note: Remove material in
screwholes(ifneeded)beforemountingwithscrews.
Attachbackofcasetodoorjamborwall(seeFigure
3).Snapfrontofpushbuttonon.
• Tape Mounting:Whenattachingpushbuttonusing
double sided tape, make sure the surface of the door
jamborwallisclean.
6. Mount chime. Determinemountinglocation.
 Therearedifferentwaystomountthechimedepending
uponthemodelofchimepurchased.Determinewhich
modelyoupurchasedbelow.Mountthechimeaccording
totheinstructionsforyourchime.
ChimewithAttachedDecorativeCover:
1. Drill1/4"diameterpilotholeforwallanchor(provided)andinsertanchor.
2. Screw#8screw(provided)intoanchor.Leave1/16"gapbetweenscrewhead
andwall.
3. Placehangeroverscrewtomountchime(seeFigure4).

Thechimebasecanbemountedintwodifferentways.Thebasecanbemounted
usingthekeyholesorthethreemountingholes.Thebasemaybemountedhori-
zontallyorverticallydependinguponthespecicmodelpurchased.
KeyholeMounting:
• Usetemplateonbackcoverofmanualforscrewplacement.Note: Make
sureholesarelevelbeforedrilling.
• Drilltwo7/32"diameterpilotholesforwallanchorsandinsertanchors.
• Mountkeyholescrewstowallleavingabout1/8"(3mm)ofthescrewthreads
exposed(seeFigure5).
• Usingkeyholesonbackofchimebase,hangbaseonscrews.
• Placechimecoverovertab(s)ontopofchimebase.
ScrewMounting:
• Removebatteriesfromchime.
• Placechimeagainstwallandverifythechimeislevel.
• Usechimeholesasatemplate(seeFigure6).Drillthree7/32"diameterpilot
holesforwallanchors(provided)andinsertanchors.
• Insert3screws(provided)throughholesinbackofchime.
• Verifychimeislevelandtightenscrewssecurely.
• Replacebatteries(seeFigure2).
• Placechimecoverovertab(s)ontopofchimebase.

tunecanbechangedbyfollowingtheinstructionsbelow.

pushbuttonswillcomefactorysetforfrontandbackdoors.Decalsontherear
ofthepushbuttonwillindicateitssetting.

Troubleshooting
A. Chime does not sound:
• Makesurepushbuttonandchimecodesarethesame(seeFigure8).
• Checkorientationofpushbuttonandchimebatteries(Seediagraminside
pushbuttonandchimeforcorrectbatteryorientation.)
• Checkchargeofpushbuttonandchimebatteries,replaceifnecessary.
B.Chimesoundswhennotintended(falsetriggers):Chime is receiving
interference from another wireless device; change thecode setting (see
Code Settingbelow).
C.BatteriesseemOK,butthechimedoesnotworkwheninstalled:
• Donotmountchimeorpushbuttononmetalornearmetalstuds.This
reducesthetransmitterrange.Use1/4"to1/2"(6to13mm)woodshims
tomovechimeorpushbuttonoffmetalsurface.
• Concreteoorsmayreducerange.Movechimeawayfromoor.
• Trylocatingchimeclosertopushbutton.
D. Code Setting:
It is recommended to only change one code position at a time and then check
toseeifsystemisfunctioningproperly.
1. Openthecasesandlocatethejumpersonboththepushbuttonandchime
(seeFigure8).
2. Thepushbuttonandchimebothhaveeightdifferentjumperlocations.Jumper
positions1through7areusedforsettingthecode.

3. Tochangethecode,either(Formodelswith2pushbuttons,changecode
settinginbothpushbuttonstomatchchime.):
• Addajumpertothesamelocationonboththepushbuttonandthechime
or...
• Removeajumperfromthesamelocationonboththepushbuttonandthe
chime or...
• Moveajumperonthepushbuttonfromonelocationtoanother.Movethe
correspondingjumperonthechimetomatchthenewlocationinthepush
button.
 Example:Movejumperatlocation“5”tolocation“4”onboththepush
buttonandthechime.
Note:Codepositions1through7mustbeexactlythesameforboththe
pushbuttonandchimeforthissystemtofunction.
Note:Unitwillcomefactorysetwithjumpersinlocations5,6,and7onthe
pushbuttonandonthechime(seeFigure8).

4. Ajuste del control del volumen. Regule el control de
volumenalniveldeseado(vealaFigura2).
5. Instale el pulsador. Use ya sean tornillos o cinta
adhesivaporambascarasparainstalarelpulsador.
• Montaje con tornillos: Para montar con tornillos, quite
lapartedeatrásdelacajaempujandohaciaadentro
lalengüetadeabajoconundestornilladorpequeño
ygirandolacuchilla(vealaFigura1).Nota:Quitela
suciedaddelosoriciosparatornillos(siesnecesario)
antesdeponerlostornillos.Coloquelapartedeatrás
delacajacontralajambaolapared(vealaFigura3).
Encajeapresiónlapartefrontaldelpulsador.
• Montaje con cinta adhesiva: Cuando fije el
pulsador usando cinta adhesiva por ambas caras,
asegúresequelasuperciedelaparedoladel
batientedelapuertaesténlimpias.
6. Monte la campana.Determineelsitioparaelmontaje.
Hay varias formas de instalar la campana dependiendo del modelo que
hayacomprado.Determineabajocuálmodelocompró.Montelacampana
deacuerdoalasinstruccionesquecorrespondenasucampana.
