1. InstallalkalinetypeA2312voltpushbutton
battery(included). Remove back of case by
pushingintabonbottomwithasmallscrew-
driver(seeFigure1).Seediagraminsidepush
buttonforcorrectbatteryorientation.Note: If
batteries are preinstalled, remove orange
batterytab.
2. Openchimecase. Press in catch on bottom of
chimeandliftthecaseopen(seeFigure2).
3. Install 3 alkaline “D” batteries. Make sure
batteriesareorientedproperly(seeFigure3).
4. Test range. Temporarily position chime and
pushbuttonwhereyouwantthemmounted.
Press push button to verify chime and push
buttonworkproperly.Ifchimedoesnotsound,
see Troubleshooting.
5. Adjust volume control. Adjust volume control
todesiredvolume(seeFigure3).

A. Chime does not sound:
• Makesurepushbuttonandchimecodesarethesame(seeFigure9).
• Checkorientationofpushbuttonandchimebatteries.(Seediagraminside
pushbuttonandchimeforcorrectbatteryorientation.)
• Checkchargeofpushbuttonandchimebatteries,replaceifnecessary.
B.Chimesoundswhennotintended(falsetriggers):Chime is receiving
interference from another wireless device; change the code setting (see
Code Settingbelow).
C.BatteriesseemOK,butthechimedoesnotworkwheninstalled:
• Donotmountchimeorpushbuttononmetalornearmetalstuds.This
reducesthetransmitterrange.Use1/4"to1/2"(6to13mm)woodshims
tomovechimeorpushbuttonoffmetalsurface.
• Concreteoorsmayreducerange.Movechimeawayfromoor.
• Trylocatingchimeclosertopushbutton.
D. Code Setting:
It is recommended to only change one code position at a time and then check
toseeifsystemisfunctioningproperly.
1. Openthecasesandlocatethejumpersonboththepushbuttonandchime

5. Ajuste del control del volumen. Regule el control
de volumen al nivel deseado ( vea la Figura 3) .
6. Instale el pulsador. Use ya sean tornillos o cinta
adhesivaporambascarasparainstalarelpulsador.

Ôtezlapartiearrièreduboîtierenenfonçant
la patte du bas au moyen d’un petit tournevis
(voirlaFigure1).Voirlabonneorientationde
la pile sur le schéma à l'intérieur de l'unité de
bouton-poussoir.Note : Si les piles sont déjà
enplace,retirezlalanguetteorange.
2. Pourouvrirleboîtierducarillon: Presser
sur le loquet à la base du carillon et soulever
leboîtierpourouvrir(voirlaFigure2).
3. Installez3 piles alcalines« D ». Prenez
soin d’orienter les piles correctement (voir
laFigure3).
4. Plage d’essai.Positionnez temporairementle
carillon et l’unité de bouton-poussoir à l’endroit
oùvousvoulezlesmonter.Enfoncezlebouton-
poussoir pour vous assurer que celui-ci et le
carillonfonctionnentcorrectement.Silecarillonne
retentitpas,consultezlasection«Dépannage».

6. Montezl’unitédebouton-poussoir.Utilisezsoitdes
vis, soit du ruban adhésif double face pour monter
l’unitédebouton-poussoir.
• Aumoyendevis:Pour faire l’installation avec les
vis,enlevezledosduboîtierenpoussantsurles
agrafes de la base avec un tournevis (voir la Figure
1).Fixezledosduboîtierauchambranleouaumur
(voirlaFigure4).Note :Enlevezlesdébrisdestrous
devis(aubesoin)avantd’installerlesvis.Enclen-
chezlapartieavantdel’unitédebouton-poussoir
enplace.
• Aumoyenderubanadhésif:Lorsque vous mon-
tezl’unitédebouton-poussoirenutilisantduruban
adhésifdoubleface,assurez-vousquelasurface
dumontantdeporteoudumurestpropre.
7. Montezl’unitélecarillon. Il est possible d’installer le carillon en utilisant les
3trousdudosduboîtierouenutilisantdeuxvisaveclestrousdeserrure.
Installationau moyendestrousdeserrure :Déterminezl’emplacement
del’installation.
• Marquezl’emplacementdes deuxorices.Note : Assurez-vous que les
oricessontbiendeniveauavantdepercer.
• Modèles 6153 et 6162 (voir la Figure 5) : Espacement de 8,4 cm (3 5/16 po)
• Modèles6171et6172 (voir la Figure 5) : Espacement de 6 cm (2 3/8 po)
• Percezdeuxoricesde7/32podediamètrepourlesancrages,puisinsérez-y
celles-ci.
• Fixezlesvisdanslesancragesenlaissantdépasserenviron3mm(1/8po)
delets.
• Enclenchezlecouverclesurlabaseducarillon.
• Modèles6153et6162:Alignezlapartiesupérieureduboîtieravecla
partiesupérieuredelaplaquearrière.Faitespivoterlapartieinférieure
duboîtierendirectiondelaplaquearrière,puisenclenchez-laenplace
(voirlaFigure7).
• Modèles6171et6172:Alignezlerebordinférieurduboîtieraveclebord
inférieurdelaplaquearrière.Faitestournerlehautduboîtierverslaplaque
