The TowelRail cable should be connected tothe electricalsupplythrough ameans for disconnection inall
poles in accordance withthe wiringrules. The cable connected totheappliance must be fixed wiring.
If used in a bathroom it should be connected to anunswitched fused spur outlet.
In other roomsa switchedunit should be used.
The TowelRail is designedas a fixed electrical applianceforfixed wiring andmust be earthed.
IMPORTANT!A13-AMP PLUG SHOULD NOT BEFITTED TO THE MAINSLEAD.
A3-ampfuse must beused. As the colours in thewires in themains supplycord maynot correspond with the
coloured markings identifying theconnection terminals, make the electrical connections as:-
•The GREEN/YELLOWearth wire to the terminalmarkedor“E”.
•The BROWN (L)livewire to the terminalmarked “L”.
•The BLUE(N)neutralwire to theterminal marked “N”.
MOUNTINGINSTRUCTIONS
Your Towel Railis suppliedwiththe required number ofmounting brackets;
mounting instructions are detailedon thebracket fixing pack.
It is vital that the towel railis installedwith the heatingelementsupplycable at the
bottomofthe rail.

electricalappliances that are operatedbymains voltage, caremust be taken if you are to obtain thebest
results and safetyistobe assured.
•DONOTuse theappliance if damaged.
•If the supplycord is damaged, it MUST BEreplaced bythemanufacturer, its service agent orsimilarly
qualified persons in order toavoid a hazard.
•DONOTuse theappliance to carryarticles that have beencleaned withdrycleaning fluids.
•DONOTuse theappliance to carryarticles that have beenin contact with oil or petroleum based products.
•DONOTuse theappliance unless it hasbeen fittedto thewall as per these instructions.

The container ofthis heater is filled withaprecise quantityof special heat transfer fluid.
Anyleakage must be reported tothemanufacturer, its service agent or similarlyqualified person.
The system issealed, andanyattempt to break the seals willinvalidate the warranty
CLEANING
To cleanthe TowelRail, polish with a cleandrycloth whenthe Towel Rail isswitched off.
If a more thorough clean is required, theuse of non-abrasive wax polish (similarto those used to polish car
paintwork)will help to maintain the chromiumfinish).
Under no circumstances should anykind of abrasiveor spraycleaner be used to clean theTowel Rail.
These maycontain chemicals, which canaffect the surfacefinish and as suchmay invalidateyour warranty.
IF YOUR TOWEL RAILDOESNOT WORK
Check that thefusehas not blownatthe flex outlet, orat the distributionboard.
DO NOT attempt to repair the Towel Rail.
Should noneofthe aboveremedies work, then consult an accreditedservice agent.
