In this booklet you will find information on your
10 Year Residential Warranty (back page) and the
Care and Maintenance Instructions (inside pages)
for your new Hideaway Concelo unit.
Attached inside is the Actuator Release Tool.
Please keep this in a safe place as it is used to remove the
Active Lid from your Hideaway Concelo Bin.
HIDEAWAY CONCELO 10 YEAR
RESIDENTIAL WARRANTY:
Hideaway Concelo bins, manufactured by Kitchen King Limited, a New Zealand
registered company, are covered by a warranty which gives the original purchaser
protection against defective or faulty manufacture.
Should the Hideaway Concelo bin (Product) become defective in the first 10 years since
its initial purchase for use in a residential building, Kitchen King Limited (Kitchen King)
will at its option repair or supply replacement parts without cost.
This warranty does not cover:
• Any Product which was not installed in accordance with the “Installation
Instructions” or,
• Any Product which has not been maintained or cared for in accordance with the
“Care and Maintenance Instructions” supplied with the Product at time of purchase or,
• Any Product which has been exposed to loads in excess of specifications, damages
caused by accident, alteration, abuse or misuse or used for purposes other than that
for which they are intended, or general “wear & tear” or,
• Consequential or indirect loss, costs, liability or expenses of any kind or,
• Warranty claims made by anyone other than the original purchaser of the Product.
The above warranty is in addition to any imposed by law and in no way limits the
purchaser’s rights under any warranty imposed by law – no other additional warranties
apply to the Product. Kitchen King reserves the right to reject any warranty claim in the
event that it is determined by Kitchen King that any of the above circumstances giving
rise to damage applies.
All Products must be shipped to Kitchen King or the local supplier for assessment. A duty
of care is required that all Products shipped to Kitchen King are done so within a box
or container that suitably protects the Products from further damage during shipping.
All freight must be paid by the purchaser; freight will be reimbursed in the event of an
accepted warranty claim.
Proof of purchase must be supplied with the warranty claim.
If the Product is installed in a non-residential building, a 2 year warranty period applies.
If a warranty claim is accepted, the cost of supplying replacement Product or parts,
including the cost of shipping back to the purchaser and reimbursement for the freight
paid by the purchaser in shipping the Products to Kitchen King or the local supplier for
assessment, will be covered by Kitchen King.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS:
Your Hideaway Concelo Bin has been designed so that key
components can be easily removed for cleaning.
How to keep your Hideaway Concelo Bin clean:
• Remove the Active Lid, Liner Holders, Buckets, and Clip’n’Clean Trays.
• Use warm soapy water and a cloth to clean these parts.
• DO NOT WASH PLASTIC PARTS IN A DISHWASHER
• Avoid harsh abrasive cleaners.
• Once parts are clean and dry, fit all parts back into your bin.
• When cleaning other parts of your Concelo bin, try to avoid getting
the runners, door brackets and fixings wet. However, if this happens
ensure you dry these parts well to avoid any risk of corrosion.
Important information:
• Do not over fill your bin as contents could scratch the Active Lid.
• Refrain from pushing down on rubbish inside the buckets as this
creates extra pressure on the fixings inside your cabinet.
Replacement parts for your Hideaway Concelo Bin can also be
