CAUTION
Fatigue due to Long-Hour Operation
If you keep working with the display monitor and keyboard
for long hours, your eyes and body will be fatigued to
jeopardize your health. When working with the display
monitor for a long time, take a break for 10 to 15 minutes
per hour for health of your eyes and body.
Following are the features of AID:
(1) A maximum of two AIDs can be supported by one system.
One ChromAssist Data Station / Primaide System Manager
can support up to one AIDs (2 ch).
Upon combining AID with the Primaide 1000 series units, a
detector of Primaide 1000 series can be used for Ch1 and a
detector of other make for Ch2.
(2) Installable into an Primaide 1000 series unit.
An AID can be installed into the back of each unit of
Primaide 1000 series (except for an organizer, autosampler
and FL Detector).
(3) Power can be supplied to AID from Primaide 1000 series
unit. Since power can be supplied to AID from the Primaide
1000 series unit in which it is installed, the provision of an
AC adapter or other power supply components is
unnecessary.
(4) Acquisition of marker signal from L-5200 fraction collector
possible.
The marker signal output from an L-5200 fraction collector
can be converted into a peak signal for acquisition.
Figure 1 shows an example of an overlaid chromatogram
where a UV detector was used for Ch1 and an AID for
fraction marker signal acquisition was used for Ch2.
(A dedicated cable is required for connecting the AID with
the L-5200 fraction marker signal output.)
