1. OUTLINE
1.1 Optional Syringe
This product is an optional device specifically designed for Model
L-2200 autosampler. It provides a wide range of sample
injection from 50 µL to 4500 µL. For details of the L-
2200/2200U autosampler, refer to its instruction manual.
Table 1-1 lists optional syringe kits for the L-2200/2200U
autosampler.

1.2 Syringe-Piping Combination
1 - 2
1.2 Syringe-Piping Combination
Five kinds of syringes are available as shown in Table 1-2.
For each syringe capacity, a sample loop for “needle - injection
valve connection” and a connecting coil for “injection valve -
syringe valve connection” are provided (see Figures 1-1 to 1-3).
Be sure to use any one of the syringe-piping combinations
indicated in Table 1-2.
To install an optional syringe onto the L-2200U autosampler,
remove the stainless pipe (P/N 890-3452, 0.1 mm ID ×0.36 m)
connected between the injection port and the injection valve port
3 on the L-2200U autosampler, and instead of it, connect the
stainless pipe (P/N 890-3451, 0.17 mm ID ×0.36 m) included in
the accessory box accompanying the L-2200 autosampler.
In an application where a considerably high flow rate is used
(e.g., a flow rate of 6 mL/mm or higher), replace the stainless
pipe connected between the injection port and the injection valve
port 3 with the stainless pipe (P/N 890-3473, 0.5 mm ID ×
0.36 m) furnished together with the optional syringe.
