Installing the Grass Field Landing Gear
If you fly in high or rough grass, install the grass
field landing gear.
1. Trim the pre-installed stickers on each side
of the fuselage where the cowl meets the
fuselage.
2. Remove the cowl using the Disassembly
instructions on page 21 of the original manual.
3. Loosen the set screw from the steering arm
and remove the nose gear.
Tip: Turn the nose gear all the way to the left
to access the set screw.
4. Install the grass field nose gear and tighten the
set screw. Fully tighten the steering arm screw
against the flat surface of the nose gear strut.
5. Assemble the spinner, propeller, cowling, and
nose in reverse order.
6. Turn the model so you can see the bottom of
the fuselage.
- Install the left and right fairings (A) on the
respective sides of the landing gear strut as
shown.
- Install the main landing gear by inserting
the main gear strut (B) into the slot in the
fuselage as shown.
7. Install the left and right plates (C) on the
fuselage using 4 screws (D) as shown.

Compass Calibration Procedure
Perform compass calibration before first flight or to
correct the heading during Auto Landing if it differs
significantly from the heading set during takeoff.
1. Power on receiver and set the model on the
ground on its wheels.
2. With the transmitter trims centered, power ON
the transmitter and the aircraft while holding
the transmitter sticks as show until the ESC
sounds to enter compass calibration mode.
3. Wings on: The ESC will sound and the ailerons
will move up and down continuously, indicating
that compass calibration is activated.
Wings off: The visible blue and red LEDs on
the receiver will flash alternately indicating that
compass calibration is activated.
Once in calibration mode, the throttle is not
active and the transmitter sticks can be released.
The transmitter must remain powered on.
4. Once in calibration mode, rotate the plane twice
in position 1, then turn it 90 degrees and rotate
it twice in position 2.
5. Turn off the transmitter, then wait 3 seconds
and disconnect the flight battery.

Montage des Models
Montage des Graspistenfahrwerks
Für den Start von Graspisten montieren Sie bitte
das Graspistenfahrwerk.
1. Schneiden Sie die Aufkleber auf jeder
Rumpfseite an der Stelle ein wo die
Motorhaube auf den Rumpf trifft.
2. Entfernen Sie der Demontageabteilung auf
Seite 21 folgend die Motorhaube.
3. Lösen Sie die Madenschraube vom Lenkhebel
und entfernen das Bugrad.
Tipp: Drehen Sie das Bugrad ganz nach links
um an die Madenschraube zu gelangen.
4. Montieren Sie das Graspistenfahrwerk und
ziehen die Madenschrauben an. Ziehen Sie die
Schraube des Lenkhebels auf der flachen Seite
der Fahrwerksstrebe an.
5. Montieren Sie den Spinner, Propeller,
Motorhaube in umgekehrter Reihenfolge.
6. Drehen Sie das Modell auf den Rücken, so
dass die Unterseite nach oben zeigt.
- Setzen Sie wie abgebildet die beiden
Fahrwerksverkleidungen auf die linke und
rechte Strebe.
- Setzen Sie das Fahrwerk wie abgebildet in
den Schlitz am Rumpfboden ein.
7. Schrauben Sie beiden Halter (C) mit den vier
Schrauben (D) am Rumpf fest.

Kompass Kalibrierung
Führen Sie die Kompasskalibrierung vor dem
ersten Flug oder zur Korrektur der Richtung bei der
Automatischen Landung durch, wenn diese von den
Standardeinstellungen abweicht.
1. Schalten Sie den Empfänger ein und stellen
das Modell auf den Boden auf sein Fahrwerk.
2. Schalten Sie den Sender mit zentrierten
Trimmungen ein und halten dabei die
Steuerknüppel wie abgebildet, bis vom Regler
ein Piepton erfolgt und ihnen damit den
aktivierten Kompasskalibrierungsmode anzeigt.
3. Mit montierten Tragflächen: Der Regler gibt
Töne von sich und die Querruder bewegen sich
kontinuierlich rauf und runter. Sie zeigen damit an,
dass die Kompasskalibrierung aktiviert wurde.
Ohne montierte Tragflächen: Die sichtbaren
blaue und rote LED auf dem Empfänger
blinkt wechselnd und zeigt an, dass die
Kompasskalibrierung aktiviert wurde. Ist
der Kalibrierungsmode aktiviert, ist das Gas
deaktiviert und Sie können Steuerknüppel
loslassen. Der Sender muss jedoch
eingeschaltet bleiben.
4. Drehen Sie im Kalbrierungsmode das Flugzeug
zwei mal in Position 1 , drehen Sie es dann um
90° und drehen es dann zwei mal in Position 2.
5. Schalten Sie den Sender aus, warten 3
Sekunden und trennen dann den Flugakku.

Installation du train d’atterrissage
brousse
Si vous volez sur une zone gazonnée ou avec des
grandes herbes, installez le train d’atterrissage
brousse.
1. Découpez les autocollants pré-installés sur
chaque côté à l’endroit où le capot rejoint le
fuselage.
2. Retirez le capot à l’aide des instructions de
Démontage à la page 68 du manuel d’origine.
3. Desserrez la vis du palonnier de direction et
retirez la roulette de nez.
Conseil: Tournez la roulette de nez
complètement à gauche pour accéder à la vis.
4. Installez la roulette de nez brousse et serrez la
vis. Serrez complètement la vis du palonnier de
direction sur la partie plate de la jambe.
5. Assemblez le cône, l’hélice, le capot et le nez
en ordre inverse.
6. Retournez le fuselage de façon à avoir le
dessous face à vous.
- Installez les habillages de train gauche et
droit (A) sur les jambes de train comme sur
l’illustration.
- Insérez le train (B) dans la fente du fuselage
comme sur l’illustration.
7. Installez les pontets gauche et droit (C) sur le
fuselage en utilisant les 4 vis (D) comme sur
l’illustration.

Procédure de calibration du compas
Effectuez une calibration du compas avant
votre premier vol ou pour corriger le cap lors de
l’atterrissage automatique (Auto Landing) s’il est
différent de façon significative du cap réglé lors du
décollage.
1. Mettez le récepteur sous tension et posez
l’avion sur ses roues.
2. Mettez l’émetteur et l’avion sous tension en
maintenant les manches dans les positions
indiquées sur l’illustration pour entrer dans le
mode de calibration du compas(Les trims de
l’émetteur doivent être au neutre).
3. Avec l’aile installée: Le contrôleur va émette
une tonalité et les ailerons vont continuellement
se relever et s’abaisser pour indiquer l’activation
de la calibration du compas.
Sans l’aile installée: Les DELs rouge et
bleue clignotent en alternance pour indiquer
l’activation de la calibration du compas.
Relâchez les manche de l’émetteur une fois
entré dans le mode de calibration du compas.
Ne pas mettre l’émetteur hors tension.
4. Une fois en mode calibration, faites pivoter
l’avion deux fois en position 1, puis tournez-le de
90° et faites-le pivoter deux fois en position 2.
5. Mettez l’émetteur hors tension, attendez 3
secondes et débranchez la batterie.

Montaggio
Installazione del carrello per piste
erbose
Se si vola con erba alta o irregolare, installare
questo carrello particolare.
1. Tagliare gli adesivi pre installati sui due fianchi
della fusoliera nel punto in cui la capottina
motore si congiunge con la fusoliera.
2. Togliere la capottina seguendo le istruzioni per
lo smontaggio che si trovano a pagina 21 del
manuale originale.
3. Allentare il grano dal braccio sterzante e
togliere il carrello anteriore.
Consiglio: per accedere al grano, girare il
carrello anteriore completamente a sinistra.
4. Installare il carrello anteriore per piste erbose e
stringere il grano. Stringere completamente la
vite del braccio sulla parte piatta ricavata nella
gamba del carrello.
5. Rimontare ogiva, elica, capottina e naso in
ordine inverso.
6. Girare il modello in modo da vedere la pancia
della fusoliera.
- Montare le carenature di destra e di sinistra
(A) rispettivamente al loro posto sulle gambe
del carrello, come si vede in figura.
- Installare il carrello principale inserendo il
montante del carrello principale (B) nella sua
fessura sulla fusoliera, come si vede in figura.
7. Installare le piastrine destra e sinistra (C) sulla
fusoliera usando le 4 viti (D).

Procedura per la calibrazione
della bussola
Eseguire la calibrazione della bussola prima del
primo volo o per correggere la direzione durante
l’Auto Landing se cambia rispetto alla direzione
impostata durante il decollo.
1. Accendere il ricevitore e appoggiare il modello
a terra sul suo carrello.
2. Con i trim della trasmittente al centro, accendere
la trasmittente e l’aereo, tenendo gli stick della
trasmittente come illustrato fino a quando l’ESC
emette un suono segnalando l’entrata nella
modalità calibrazione della bussola.
3. Wings on: l’ESC emetterà un suono e gli alettoni
si muoveranno in continuazione per indicare che
la calibrazione della bussola è attiva.
Wings off: i LED blu e rosso visibili sul ricevitore
lampeggieranno alternativamente per indicare
che la calibrazione della bussola è attiva. Una
volta entrati nella modalità di calibrazione, il
comando motore non è attivo e si possono
rilasciare gli stick. Il trasmettitore deve restare
acceso.
4. Una volta entrati nella modalità di calibrazione,
ruotare due volte il velivolo nella posizione 1, poi
girarlo di 90° e ruotarlo 2 volte nella posizione 2.
5. Spegnere la trasmittente, poi aspettare 3
secondi e scollegare la batteria di bordo.
