Produktbeskrivning

Operating instructions
Connection to carrier
1. Connect the sweeper to the carrier by tilting the ma-
chine attachment forwards, coupling the hook sec-
tion, lifting and tilting back. The machine must then
be locked. See Instruction Manual for the carrier in
question.
2. Connect the power hoses' quick couplings to the third
function's hydraulic terminal or to the hydraulic
motor circuit on the carrier.
3. Start the roller brush by moving the lever for the third
hydraulic function to its locked position, or activate
the hydraulic motor circuit.
4. Check that the sweeper roller is rotating in the right
direction, see figure 6 If the roller brush rotates in the
wrong direction when in the locked position, change
the locked position for the lever or change the quick
coupling for the third hydraulic function.
NB! THE SELECTOR VALVE MUST BE IN THE OFF POSITION
WHEN OPERATING WITHOUT ASCOOP (IF THERE IS ONE).
SEE FIGURE 8 .
Connecting the water pump (extra equipment) to the carrier
1. Connect the electric cable on the water pump to the
carrier. The terminal must be secured for at least
12 Volts.
Connecting the scoop (extra equipment) to the sweeper.
1. Connect the three mounting points on the scoop, see
A in figure 7.
2. Connect the hydraulic hoses to the hydraulic
connections on the chassis, see B1 and B2 in figure 7.
Check that the machine is secured.
Itisextremelyimportantthatthehydrauliccouplings
are clean. Allowing dirt into the hydraulic system
would severely impair sweeper functionality.
Never adjust the selector valve without stopping
the oil flow.

Connecting/Disconnecting the brush guard (extra
equipment)
Connect/disconnect the three mounting points on the
scoop, see A in figure 9 on page 15.
Adjusting the height and tilting the machine, sweeper
without support wheels
1. Lift the sweeper.
2. Tilt the sweeper until the tilt indicator’s yellow
markings are in line, see figure 10.
3. Gently lower the sweeper until the collector is 5-
10 cm above the ground, see figure 11.
4. Readjust the tilt where appropriate as per item 2.
Setting the height of the machine and tilting, with scoop
and one support wheel
1. Tilt the sweeper until the tilt indicator's yellow
markings are in line, see figure 10.
2. Lowerthe sweeper gentlyuntil the support wheelis in
contact with the ground, see figure 12.
3. Readjust the tilt if necessary.
Itisextremelyimportantthatthehydrauliccouplings
are clean. Allowing dirt into the hydraulic system
would severely impair sweeper functionality.
The brush guard should be used when there is
a risk of items being expelled.
When running the machine on uneven surfaces it
may be necessary to temporarily lift it to avoid con-
tact between the ground and the refuse collector.

Emptying the refuse collector
NB! WHEN OPERATING WITH ASCOOP, THE SELECTOR
VALVE MUST BE IN THE ON POSITION, SEE FIGURE 13.
1. Pull the control back to the third function. This will
open the scoop, see figure 14.
2. Empty the refuse collector.
3. Move the control forwards to the third function to
close the scoop.
Disconnection from carrier
1. Release the hydraulic quick couplings and any
electrical cables to the water pump (extra
accessories).
2. Release the machine attachment lock pins, and
carefully lower the machine to the ground. This is
important, otherwise the sweeper may be damaged.
3. When the machine reaches the ground, tilt forward
and then back to release the hooks.
Sprinkler system (extra equipment)
The pump must not be run when dry, i.e. once the water
has been used up the pump must be switched off.
The machine is fitted with a water filter to prevent dirt
from entering the system. The filter is on the pump's
suction side. The filter can be flushed clean and reused.
If there is a risk of freezing, empty the water from the
water tank, water pump and attendant hoses. The easiest
method is first to empty the tank, and then to run the
pump empty for approx. 20-30 seconds. When emptying
the tank, release the hose by the tank using a quick
coupling.
Risk of crushing!
Never adjust the selector valve without stopping
the oil flow.
Never leave the machine in the unfolded position.

Maintenance
After operation
• Wash the sweeper. This will increase its service life
and make it easier to detect any leakage or other
faults.
• Inspect the machine and make sure that the hoses,
rubber housings and the machine body are not
damaged. Also check for any oil leakage.
• Top up the lubrication points, see figure 15 and
figure 16.

Removing the roller brush sweeper
1. Release the scoop (extra accessory)
2. Remove the lifting stops on both the right and left
side. See A in figure 17.
3. Release the rear mount on the slewing bracket on the
right-hand side. See B in figure 17.
Please note that only the screws are released from the
outside and that the actual slewing arm can remain on
its clamp plate, see figure 18.
4. Carefully lift up the machine to allow the motor to be
pulled out from the side. See figure 18.
5. Turn out the brush.
Make sure that the brush has stopped moving
before maintenance.
If the machine is lifted too high before the roller
brush has been removed from the motor unit, the
roller may become caught in the hydraulic hoses
and there is a risk that they may be damaged.

Replacing the brush
1. Release the three tension springs and remove the
roller brush’s end ring, see figure 19.
2. Pull off the brush and spacer rings. This is most easily
done by hanging up the roller vertically in an
overhead crane or suchlike.
3. Check the core for damage.
4. Lift up the brush core with the bearing shaft facing
downwards on a pair of wooden blocks or suchlike.
This is to prevent damaging the shaft and slewing
brackets.
5. Insert a brush using the brush ring's "pins" in the
space between the three square sections.
6. Fit a spacer ring.
7. Fit alternating brush rings and spacer rings. Please
note that the brush rings' “carrier pins” must be more
or less evenly divided between the three square
sections. This is so that no single section will be
exposed to all the strain from the brushes.
8. To “cover” the entire core it may be necessary to use
double brushes without spacer ring on the end so that
the right length will be obtained.
9. Refit the end ring using the three tension springs.
See figure 19.
Fitting the roller brush
1. Roll in the roller
2. Push the brush in towards the motor package in the
chassis.
3. Lift up the loose slewing bracket, figure 20 and fit it,
see B in figure 17 on page 18.
4. Lower the machine.
5. Re-attach the slewing bracket top, see A in figure 17
on page 18.
Always use Loctite on the screws.
