of the appliance.

the unit under a tap, always use the Filler Cup (11) provided
Hold the unit vertically and remove the Water Tank
Cap (2) by pulling the top and allowing it to hinge
freely.
Add water using the Filler Cup (11). Do not overfill.
Replace the Water Tank Cap by pushing gently up-
wards until it clicks to lock in place.
Using Your Handy Mop
For your convenience the handy Mop has a unique
pumping system that produces steam two ways:
1. By pressing the Steam Trigger
2. Horizontal movement of the Base Plate.
• Attach the Cleaning Pad (10) to the Base Plate
(7) as described on page 4.
Caution: Always unplug the appliance before
adding or removing the Cleaning Pad.
• Plug the unit into an electrical outlet. The Power
Indicator LED (6) will now illuminate.
• Allow approximately 30-60 seconds for the unit
to reach its operating temperature.
• The Handy Mop is now ready to use.
Note: On initial use some water will come out of
the Steam Exit Nozzle (8). This is normal.
• To produce steam, press the Steam Trigger (5).
Initially this may require 6-10 rapid presses
before steam exits the Nozzle.
• Once steam is produced, it will continue with
the natural vertical or horizontal movement of
the Handy Mop, this is achieved by applying
light pressure to the surface and maintaining
constant movement. If more steam is required
the Steam Trigger can be pressed at any time, by
pressing intermittently you will note a rhythm for
maintaining a continuous flow of steam without
any water leaking or dripping.
