3. Funktionsbeschreibung
In jedem ist ein einmalig vergebener Datencode abgespeichert (Unikat).
Dieser Code wird von der Auswerteeinheit (AWE) über die Sendeeinheit permanent abgefragt
und ausgewertet. Der Code kann nur empfangen werden, solange sich der Sensor innerhalb
der Übertragungsreichweite zur Sendeeinheit befindet.
Verschluss-Sensor
Im Lernmodus speichert die AWE den Code des Sensors dauerhaft ab. (Ein einmal abgespei-
cherter Code bleibt auch im spannungslosen Zustand der AWE erhalten.)
Im Normalbetrieb wird der abgespeicherte mit dem empfangenen Code verglichen. Nur wenn
beide Codes identisch sind, kann eine "Gutmeldung" erfolgen. Deshalb ist es im Normalbetrieb
nicht möglich, den Sensor durch etwas anderes (z.B. durch einen anderen Sensor) zu ersetzen.
Dadurch ist dieses System äußerst manipulationssicher.
Für die Verschlussüberwachung wird der Sensor über eine Adapterschiene am Verschlussbol-
zen der Mehrfachverriegelung befestigt. Dadurch wird er synchron mit dem Griff (Verschluss)
verschoben (verschlossen - offen - gekippt).
Nur wenn das Fenster bzw. die Tür ist, befindet sich der Sensor in der
Übertragungsreichweite zur Sendeeinheit und die AWE kann den Code des Sensors empfan-
gen. D. h. nur in diesem Fall kann eine "Gutmeldung" erfolgen.

4.3 Richtlinien
Überprüfen Sie die folgenden Punkte sorgfältig, bevor Sie den Sensor und die Sendeein-
heit einbauen.

Ist am gedachten Montageort genügend Platz für Sensorteile oder muss auf einen
anderen Bolzen mit besseren Montagemöglichkeiten ausgewichen werden?
Der zur nächsten Sendeeinheit muss betragen.
Der der Gehäuse darf in allen Richtungen nicht überschreiten.
Die Gehäuse der Sendeeinheit und des Sensors müssen zueinander montiert
werden.
Das Anschlusskabel der Sendeeinheit darf gekürzt, aber werden.

4. Montage

Montageort auswählen

Öffnen Sie das Fenster. Bringen Sie im geöffneten Zustand den Verschlussbolzen in die zu
überwachende Position (normalerweise "geschlossen").
Wählen Sie an der Mehrfachverriegelung einen Verschlussbolzen aus.
Prüfen Sie jetzt die folgenden Punkte sorgfältig:
Die Adapterschiene muss sich über diesen Bolzen einhängen und montieren lassen.
Das Spiel zwischen dem Bolzen und der Adapterschiene wird bei der endgültigen
Montage mit dem Fixierblech auf ein Minimum reduziert.
Die Sendeeinheit muss sich so im Rahmen montieren lassen, dass sich die Übertragungs-
markierungen von Sensor und Sendeeinheit im überwachten Zustand gegenüberstehen.

4.5 Montage des Verschluss-Sensors
Achtung!
Bei der Montage ist zu beachten, dass eine "Gutübertragung" erst dann erfolgen
darf, wenn der Verschlussbolzen der Verriegelung mindestens 50% in die Veranke-
rung des Beschlages eingefahren ist.
Deshalb empfehlen wir, , danach die Sendeeinheit einzubauen.
Im folgenden Abschnitt wird der Einbau in einen Fensterbeschlag beschrieben.

Beim Einbau der Sendeeinheit beachten Sie bitte die dazugehörige Montage-
Anschluss-Anleitung.

Vergewissern Sie sich, dass sich Sensor und
Sendeeinheit unter Einhaltung der erforderlichen
Abstände und max. zulässigen Montagetoleran-
zen einbauen lassen:

nach Möglichkeit nicht ausgenutzt werden.
Bei zu großem Abstand kann die Sendeeinheit auf
Abstand montiert werden. Verwenden Sie dazu
den Art.-Nr. 030110 (siehe Kap. 8
"Zubehör").
Falls der zur Verfügung stehende Abstand zu
gering ist, kann die Sendeeinheit bei Holz- oder
Kunststoffkonstruktionen (versenkt)
werden (siehe Anleitung der Sendeeinheit).

Überprüfen Sie, ob die Verschlussfunktion durch die Montage des Sensors nicht behindert
wird (Verfahrweg): Bringen Sie dazu den Bolzen in die geöffnete Position bzw. bei Dreh-
Kippbeschlägen in die mittlere Position. Der Montageort für die Führungsplatte liegt etwa
in der Mitte der Adapterschiene. Halten Sie die Führungsplatte an dieser Stelle fest und
überprüfen Sie, ob sich der Bolzen ungehindert in alle Positionen bewegen läßt.
Falls es sich bei der Abdeckschiene um ein vertieftes Beschlagsprofil handelt,
muss die Vertiefung unter der Führungsplatte durch Unterlagscheiben o.ä. ausgeglichen
werden. Wenn dadurch die Befestigungsschraube zu kurz wird, ist die Senkung in der
Führungsplatte entsprechend zu vertiefen.
Der Montageort ist nur geeignet, wenn Punkte erfüllt sind!

Wenn an der Stelle, an der die Führungsplatte befestigt werden soll,
eine Beschlagschraube vorhanden ist, kann diese zur Befestigung
verwendet werden.
Wenn nicht, wird die Führungsplatte mit der beigefügten
selbstformenden M3-Schraube befestigt. Dafür ist eine Bohrung mit
2,7 mm erforderlich.



-Fixierblech anbringen
Das Fixierblech muss so eingedrückt werden, dass das Spiel zwischen der Adapterschiene und
dem Bolzen so gering wie möglich ist. Je nach Bolzendurchmesser kann dabei die Spitze der
Öffnung nach unten oder oben zeigen (siehe Abb. unten).
Das Fixierblech sollte beim ersten Versuch richtig sitzen (Verformung)!
Jetzt muss sich die Adapterschiene synchron mit dem Verschlussbolzen in alle Positionen unge-
hindert verschieben lassen. Es ist darauf zu achten, dass die Adapterschiene sauber geführt wird
und beim Betätigen des Verschlusses ständig parallel zum Verschlussgestänge geführt wird. Das
ist besonders wichtig bei horizontal angebrachten Adapterschienen.

ACHTUNG!
Übertragen Sie die Übertragungsmarkierung des Sensors auf den
Fensterrahmen.
Zeichnen Sie den seitlichen Abstand an.
Wir empfehlen, zunächst nur die Kabelbohrung anzubringen.
Bringen Sie die Sendeeinheit in die vorgesehene Position und
befestigen Sie diese mit Klebeband.
Führen Sie jetzt einen Funktionstest gemäß Kapitel "Lernmode" in
der Montage-Anschluss-Anleitung der Auswerteeinheit durch.
Falls jetzt noch eine seitliche Korrektur erforderlich sein sollte, kann
dazu das Sensorgehäuse nach links oder rechts verdreht werden.
Lösen Sie die Befestigungsschraube des Sensors leicht, bringen
Sie den Sensor in die richtige Position und ziehen Sie die Schraube
wieder an (nicht zu fest).
Die Sendeeinheit darf erst einen Verschluss melden, wenn der
Verschlussbolzen in die Verankerung des
Beschlages eingefahren ist. Falls dies nicht zutrifft, verändern Sie
bitte die Position der Sendeeinheit, bis diese Forderung erfüllt ist.
(Evtl. muss dazu die Kabelbohrung ausgeweitet werden.)
Bringen Sie die Befestigungsbohrungen für die Sendeeinheit erst
nach einem erfolgreichen Funktionstest an.
(siehe Montage-Anschluss-Anleitung der Sendeeinheit)

5. Lernmode
Da jeder Sensor einen individuellen Datencode besitzt, muss dieser Code der AWE im Lernmode
mitgeteilt werden.
Dies bedeutet, dass nach jeder Neuinstallation oder Sensor-Änderung die Codes der Sensoren
von der AWE im Lernmode neu eingelesen werden müssen.
Eine genaue Beschreibung zur Durchführung des Lernmodes finden Sie in der Montage-
Anschluss-Anleitung der Auswerteeinheit.

Nach einem erfolgreichen Probelauf ist die Montage abgeschlossen.
Wir empfehlen, das Fixierblech und das Sensorgehäuse zusätzlich mit einem geeigneten Kleber zu
sichern.
Abschließend sind die Schraubenöffnungen an der Sendeeinheit und dem Sensor
mit den beigefügten VdS-Plombierklebern abzudecken!

3. Functional description
A uniquely assigned data code (unique code) is stored in each locking sensor.
The evaluation unit (EU) continuously queries and evaluates this code via the transmission unit.
The code can only be received if the sensor is within the transmission range of the transmission
unit.
The evaluation unit stores the code permanently in the teaching mode. (Once the code has
been stored, it will be maintained even when the evaluation unit is disconnected from the
power.)
In normal operation, the saved code is compared to the received code. A "positive signal" is only
given if both codes are identical. Therefore, it is not possible to replace the sensor by another
device (e.g. by another sensor) in the normal operation. Thus, this system is extremely tamper
proof.
For lock monitoring, the sensor must be attached to the locking bolt of the multiple lock via the
adapter plate. Thus, the sensor and the handle (lock) are moved synchronously (closed -
opened - tilted).
The evaluation unit can only receive the code of the sensor if the window or the door is
and the sensor is in the transmission range of the transmission unit. A "positive
signal" can only be given if these conditions are met.

4.3 Instructions
Carefully check the following before installing the sensor and the transmission unit.

whether it is necessary to use another bolt which is easier to mount.

transmission unit.

Selecting the mounting position

Open the window. Move the locking bolt to the position to be monitored (normally "closed")
while the window is open.
Select a locking bolt of the multiple lock.
Check the following carefully:
It must be possible to hang on and mount the adapter plate via this bolt.
The play between the bolt and the adapter plate is reduced to a minimum by means
of the fixing plate during the final mounting.
Install the transmission unit in the frame in such a way that the transmission markings of
the sensor and transmission unit are opposite each other in the monitored state.

4.5 Mounting the locking sensor
Attention!
When mounting the sensor, observe that a "positive signal" may only be given if at
least half (50%) of the locking bolt of the locking system is inserted in the anchorage
of the fittings.
We recommend installing the and then the transmission unit. See the
corresponding mounting and connection instructions for information about the
installation of the transmission unit.
The following section describes the installation in window fittings. The same
procedure applies to the installation in a door.

Move the bolt into the opened position or with turn and tilt fittings into the middle position.

without being impeded.
If the retaining plate has a deepended armature profile, the recess underneath the
guide plate must be compensated for by an plain washer or equivalent. If the fixing screw is
then too short, the recess in the guide plate must be made deeper.

Fastening the sensor
-Fastening the guide plate
If the position to which the guide plate is to be attached is provided
with a screw for fitting, this screw can be used for fastening.
If not, mount the guide plate using the supplied self-forming M3
screw. A bore with a diameter of 2.7 mm is required.




-Attaching the fixing plate
The fixing plate must be inserted so that there is minimum play between the adapter plate and
the bolt. The tip of the opening may point downwards or upwards (see illustration below)
depending on the bolt diameter.
The fixing plate should be in the correct position right from the beginning (deformation)!
It must be possible to freely move the adapter plate and the locking bolt synchronously to all
positions. Make sure that the adapter plate is guided properly and parallel to the locking rod
when actuating the lock. This is especially important in case of horizontally mounted adapter
plates.

Mounting the transmission unit
ATTENTION!
Transfer the transmission marking of the sensor to the window
frame.
Draw the lateral distance.
We recommend making the cable bore first. Move the transmission
unit to the corresponding position and fasten it by means of an
adhesive tape.
Now, carry out a functional test according to the chapter "Teaching
mode" of the mounting and connection instructions of the
evaluation unit.
The sensor housing can be moved to the left or right if it is necessary
to correct the lateral position.
Loosen the fixing screw of the sensor slightly, put the sensor to the
correct position and tighten the screw (not too tight).
Make sure that the transmission unit only signals a closed state if
of the locking bolt of the locking system is
inserted in the anchor of the fittings. If not, change the position of
the transmission unit until the condition is fulfilled. (It might be
necessary to widen the cable bore.)
Make the fixture bores only after having completed the functional
test successfully.

5. Teaching mode
An individual data code is assigned to each sensor which makes it necessary to read this code
in the evaluation unit in the teaching mode.
This means that the codes of the sensors must be read in by the evaluation unit in the teaching
mode after each new installation or sensor modification.
The teaching mode is described in detail in the mounting and connection instructions of the
evaluation unit, chapter "Teaching mode"

Mounting is completed after the test run has been carried out successfully.
We recommend securing the fixing plate and the sensor housing by means of a suitable adhesive.
Finally the screw openings of the transmission unit and the sensor must be
covered by means of the supplied VdS sealing stickers!
