About This Document
This document introduces the HRDV Digital Video Recorder (HRDV16 and HRDV8) and
describes how to install and operate the HRDV16/8.
The information in this document applies to both the HRDV16 and the HRDV8. The
HRDV16 supports 60 fps shared across 16 video channel inputs. The HRDV8 supports 30
fps shared across 8 video channel inputs.
Note The HRDV16 and HRDV8 are referred to as the HRDV16/8 throughout this
guide.

The HRDV Digital Video Recorder (HRDV16 and HRDV8) is the heart of your integrated
security solution. The HRDV16/8 combines the following functions:
• Digital video recorder

HRDV Features

If Timelapse is selected and a Go To performed, you can play back video like one

video from within a single, short video clip.

or remotely
