The Gateway ca be co ected to the i ter et via a hardwire co ectio or wirelessly via the premise’s Wi-Fi®
router. Programmi g is do e via AlarmNet 360™ usi g a Smart (Mobile) Device or a laptop computer.

•A smart device with the AlarmNet 360 App loaded or a laptop (referred to as ‘the set up device’). The App will
be used to co ect the Gateway pa el to the customer’s router o site.
•Setti gs o the customer’s smart device(s) must be set for Wi-Fi operatio (Wi-Fi e abled).
•Access to the customer’s router SSID a d WPA or WPA2 password (typically located o the router’s label)
•Have the customer dow load the MyHome Gateway a d the TotalCo ect® 2.0 apps from the iOS or A droid
App Store, iTu es or Play Store to a y additio al smart devices. The system supports up to eight smart devices.
•If you are ot sig ed up for AlarmNet 360, click o “Dealer Sig up” from the logi scree to gai access to the
Ho eywell web-based programmi g.

1. Create a AlarmNet 360 accou t for the Lyric Gateway.
2. I stall a d power up the Gateway (refer to the Installing the Lyric Gateway sectio )
a. If usi g a Cellular Commu icatio s module, i stall the module before poweri g up the Gateway.
b. Co ect Gateway a d smart devices(s) to the premises router (Wi-Fi or Ether et) if available.
c. The Gateway automatically registers with AlarmNet 360 (i active cha ges to active).
3. Complete the i stallatio a d programmi g; sy c the Gateway a d AlarmNet 360 (if ecessary).
4. Dow load the MyHome Gateway a d TotalCo ect 2.0 apps to the customer’s smart device.

1. If used, co ect the etwork cable to the RJ45 receptacle o the Gateway.
2. Co ect the 110VAC, 60 Hz to 9 VDC, 2.5A Power Supply p/ 300-05763V1 (300-05763V1 –CAN Ca ada) to
the receptacle o the gateway.
3. I stall the rear cover o the Gateway (if required) OR secure the rear cover/mou ti g bracket to a wall surface
a d i stall the Gateway a d secure it with the provided screw.
4. Plug the power supply i to a 24-hour, 110VAC u switched outlet. The Gateway’s Red a d Gree armi g LEDs
will bli k alter ately for approximately 2 mi utes duri g power up.
5. If the Gateway’s RJ45 ether et co ectio is used, at the Gateway touchpad e ter I staller Code + 31 to e ter
AP Mode a d proceed to Step 10.
6. If co ecti g via Wi-Fi proceed to Step 7. Whe power up is complete the Gateway will be i Access Poi t
[AP] mode.

Note: The AP mode will remai active for 30 mi utes. If AP mode time has expired, e ter the Master Code a d 31 o the
Gateway touchpad to ree ter the AP mode.
7. If the customer’s router is WPS-capable, at the Gateway touchpad e ter I staller Code a d 41. If ot, proceed
to Step 10.
8. Press the WPS butto o the customer’s router.

9. Withi approximately 3 mi utes the Gateway will co firm its co ectio to the WiFi etwork.
10. Cha ge the Wi-Fi setti g of the set up device, to the Gateway AP. Select the Gateway SSID, “OPTGW_####”
(#### = Last 4 digits of the Gateway MAC ID#)” from the list of optio s a d select “Co ect”. E ter the
Gateway’s 8-digit, case se sitive, WPA2 password whe prompted a d select Co ect. (The Gateway SSID
a d Password are located o the bottom of the Gateway.)
11. Ope the AlarmNet 360 App o the set up device a d select “Ma age Lyric Gateway”.
12. Whe prompted e ter the I staller Code + “Do e” + “Submit”.
13. The Tra sfer Firmware, Tra sfer Pa el Co figuratio , Co figure Pa el Wi-Fi a d Adva ced, optio s appear:
a. Select “Tra sfer Firmware” to tra sfer the latest firmware to the Gateway.
b. Select “Tra sfer Pa el Co figuratio ” to tra sfer the pa el co figuratio set up i AlarmNet 360 to the
Gateway.
c. Select “Co figure Pa el Wi-Fi” to co ect the Gateway to the customer’s router.
E ter the customer’s SSID a d WPA2 password whe prompted.
d. Select “Adva ced” to access I staller tools. Refer to the Installation and Reference Guide for additio al
i formatio .
14. Select “Fi ish” whe co figuratio is complete.
15. Select “Yes” to exit from the App. The Gateway exits from AP Mode a d reco ects to the Wi-Fi etwork.
16. Select “Proceed to Pa el Co figuratio ”.
17. Log i to AlarmNet 360.
