Honeywell HD6 Series User manual

The HD6 Rugged Dome is a high speed dome tracking system designed for installation
in both indoor and outdoor applications. The dome is dust-tight, weatherproof, and
able to withstand mechanical impact in accordance with industry standard IP549.
The HD6 Rugged Dome features variable manual pan speeds from 0.10° per
second to 400° per second and tilt speeds from 0.10° per second to 200° per
second. The maximum manual pan speed is programmable between 100°, 200°,
and 400° per second. During automatic operations (PreShots and VectorScans),
the HD6 pan and tilt speeds are 400° pan and 200° tilt per second unless otherwise
p rogrammed. PreShot recall is within 0.10° accuracy and PreShot recall speed
is 0.5 second. The Day/Night camera option delivers images in extreme low-light
conditions. The slow speed shutter (selectable down to 1/4 second) provides
low-light colour performance down to 0.15 lux.
Market Opportunities
The flexibility of the HD6 Rugged Dome’s mounting arm allows it to be mounted
quickly and easily on a wall or from a flat or vaulted ceiling. Its strong and tamper
resistant design is perfect for high-risk, quality sensitive environments such as
prisons, airports, train stations, government facilities, educational campuses and
commercial buildings.
