a.If the power-supplycordorplug is damaged.
b.If the camerahasbeenexposed torainorwater.

d.If the cameradoesnot operatenormallybyfollowing the operating

integration. Coming withthe built-inzoomlens, usercan monitorthe

autofocus, autoiris, and opticalzoomfunctionswhichenablesusers
tomonitoraclearscene inanydesired angleofview.
Withthe x25opticalzoomlens, the totalzoomrateis up tox400with
x16 digitalzoomprocessing.
High Resolution &SensitivitySONYCCD
The chassisfeaturesahighlysensitive1/4-inchCCD pickup with
approximately380,000 effectivepixels minimizing residualimage
and geometric distortion. All imagesarereproduced withahigh
horizontalresolution of 520 TVlinesforfine detail.
High SensitivitywithIntegration and removal ofIRfilter
HZC-252N/PSerieshasthe increased light sensitivityto0.001lx
(512 fields, IRCut FilterON)through field(frame)integration
technology.Integration and removalofIRcut filtermakesmoreeffective

DNR(Digital NoiseReduction)
Byusing theiCORE ISPchipapplied totheDNR technology,the

5.1HowtodisplayOperatingOSD
a.Press the MENU keysoftlytoconfirmcurrent Operating OSD.
Itwilldisappearafterabout fivesecondsif thereareno morekeyactions.
b.When it zoom-inoroutbypressing TELE(up)orWIDE(down)key,
all Operating OSD is displayed and then disappears.
When NEAR(+), FAR(-) keyis pressed, onlyupperpart of Operating
OSD (fordisplaying cameramode )is displayed andthendisappeared.
(Itis forchecking current cameramode andzoomposition )
c.Eventhough Operating OSD disappears,
it keepsdisplaying ID inlowerpart of thescreen.
One wayof not displaying ID is bychanging EEPROMdata
of Camera,whilethe otherwayis touseexternalcommunication
throughRS-232C.
d.Byusing RS-232C communication, displayposition ofIDchanges
asfollowing order;
BottomRight -> Top Left-> Top Right -> Non display.
*IfdisplayOperating OSD is not requested byspecialreason, suchas
using externaltext overlayboard,it can be OFF mode at all times
through externalcommunication controlasRS232C.

automatically.
Thisis usefultofocusaccuratelyafterzooming.
(InMANUALmode, whenit is powered nottofocusing, it willbe
returnedtothesetting beforepoweroff.)
ONESHOT
:It is similartoMANUALmode, but somedifferencesdo exist.
Incasethe focusmode is ONESHOT,it is focused whenever
ONESHOT(AUTO/MANUALkey)keyis pushed.Itwillbe returned
toMANUALmode afterseconds(SpecialMenu :O.S. AFTIME)
if best focuscannot befound.Inthis case, press ONESHOT(AUTO/
MANUALkey)keyagaintosettothe bestfocus.

scene becomesslowerthan OFF mode. The largermaxfieldsis
simultaneouslythe noiseofimage is larger. This phenomenon
occursdue to verysmall video output integrated onmanyfields
memory.
Toget moredynamicalimage, adjust maximumintegration fields
and set maximumAGC gainasHIGH,toresult inbetter
standardofdynamic image.
