OMV-VX Series Outdoor Visual Verification Detector - Installation Instructions
General
The OMV-VX series, visual verification outdoor detectors, are
wireless, battery operated, motion activated outdoor camera
designed for use with the Videofied security system.
Models
OMV-VX200 : 868 MHz (Europe, Africa, Asia)
OMV-VX601 : 915 MHz (USA, Canada, South America)
OMV-VX702 : 920 MHz (Australia, South America)

7 Enrolling the Sensor
Refer to the control panel’s programming instructions.
1. Put control panel into
PROGRAMMING/CONFIGURATION mode.
2. Using a programmed alphanumeric keypad, step through
menu options until “ADD A NEW DEVICE” is displayed.
3. Select OK or YES. “PRESS PROGRAM BUTTON OF
DEVICE” is displayed.
4. Press and release program button on the OMV-VX. LED
will flash rapidly.
5. Wait for keypad to display: MOTIONVIEWER (1 - 25)
PROGRAMMED.
a. Press OK/YES, the keypad display: RADIO RANGE
TEST?
b. Press OK/YES again.
The camera LED starts flashing and keypad
displays: “RF TEST”.
6. Place the OMV-VX camera in its intended mounting
location and make sure LED flashes continuously or you
receive a 9/9 indicating good communication with the
control panel.
7. Press OK/YES to end radio range test then press
ESC/NO.
8. The keypad displays:
AREA ALLOCATION :
AREA : 1
9. Press either arrow button repeatedly until a desired area
number appears then press OK/YES. (By default all
devices in Area 1 are automatically delayed.) The
keypad displays: “NAME + LOCATION”.
10. Enter appropriate device name/location (up to 16
characters), then press OK/YES. The keypad displays
the device number and name for your verification.
Adjust PIR Sensitivity
To adjust the PIR sensitivity of the OMV-VX, enter the “$”
symbol and numeric after Detector name in step 10 as
follows:.
(Detector name) $9 : Max sensitivity
(Detector name $8 : Improved sensitivity
(Detector name) : Default sensitivity
(Detector name) $1 : Decreased sensitivity
(Detector name) $2 : Minimal sensitivity
How to enter the symbol “$” (Example)
CMA keypad : Press @ key repeatedly until “$” is
displayed.
XMA/XMB keypad : Press “1” key repeatedly until “$” is
displayed.
11. Press OK/YES. The display shows FUNCTIONAL
DEVICE TEST?
12. Press OK/YES and verify camera operation. The
activation of the LED will determine the detection field.
13. Press OK/YES to end detection verification. The keypad
displays “OPERATION COMPLETED” or “ADD A NEW
DEVICE”.
14. Press YES/OK. Repeat steps 4 - 14 to enroll additional
devices.
15. When finished, exit from configuration mode.

Memory
The OMV-VX memory must be cleared in order to pair the
device with a new control panel. Perform the following to
reset the sensor memory.
1. Remove the batteries from the OMV-VX.
2. Wait around 30 seconds.
3. Reinstall the batteries in the OMV-VX.
4. Enroll the OMV-VX in the control panel. Refer to
“Enrolling the Sensor” section of this document.
