Installation Instructions
Install the Off-wall Tamper Microswitch to a G2 Panel
This pack contains the Off-wall Tamper Microswitch and two connecting wires.
There are two methods of installing and wiring the Off-wall Tamper Microswitch to a G2 panel.
Method 1: Wired directly into a zone.
Method 2: Wired using the Deep Discharge Protection Board.
Method 1 – Wired into a Zone
1. Insert the off-wall tamper microswitch with the two connecting wires from the rear of
the panel and clip into position.
2. Connect the two wires from the Off-wall Tamper Microswitch to an unused zone.
NOTE: The wiring shown is for a Normal Closed configuration. For Double-Balanced
and End-of-Line configurations, use a 1k ohm resistor connected in series with
the connecting wires.

Method 2: Install the Off-wall Tamper Microswitch to a G2 Panel with
Optional Protection Board
1. Insert the off-wall tamper microswitch with the two connecting wires from the rear of the
panel and clip into position.
2. Connect the wires in accordance with the diagram below. Use terminal on Deep Discharge
Protection Board marked SPARE to join the wires.
