1. Sicherheitshinweise
• Die Funksender dürfen nicht direkt mit Feuchtigkeit bzw. Wasser in
Berührung kommen. Das SecuSignal®-System ist nur für trockene
Innenräume geeignet.
• Beim Wechsel von kalter zu warmer Umgebung warten Sie einige
Stunden ab, bevor Sie die Geräte in Betrieb nehmen, um eventuell
auftretende Schäden durch Kondenswasser zu vermeiden.
• Das eigenmächtige Umbauen und/oder Verändern der Geräte ist
nicht gestattet. Die Geräte nicht ö nen, sonst ist die Sicherheit nicht
gegeben, und die Gewährleistung erlischt.
• SecuSignal® d i e n t z u r A n z e i g e d e r Ö  n u n g s z u s t ä n d e h a n d e l s ü b l i c h e r
Dreh-/Kipp-Fenster. Das System meldet die Zustände „Fenster ge -
kippt“, „Fenster geö net“ und „Fenster geschlossen“.

Eine andere Verwendung als oben beschrieben ist nicht bestim-
mungsgemäß und kann Personen- sowie Sachschäden zur Folge
haben.

2. Wie funktioniert SecuSignal®?
SecuSignal® ist eine funkbasierte Zustands-Überwachung der
Fenster und Fenstertüren über den Gri .
Mit SecuSignal® lassen sich die Ö nungszustände „Fenster ge-
kippt“, „Fenster geö net“ und „Fenster geschlossen“ handelsüb-
licher Dreh-/Kipp-Fenster auf einem mit EnOcean®-Technologie
kompatiblen Empfangsgerät anzeigen.
Der SecuSignal®-Funksender arbeitet komplett ohne Verkabelung
oder sonst übliche Batterie. Die Energie wird beim Drehen des
SecuSignal®-Gri s mit Hilfe der patentierten EnOcean®-Technolo-
gie erzeugt. Der SecuSignal®-Funksender ist absolut wartungsfrei!

8. Hinweis zur Reichweite
Für eine hohe Übertragungs-Sicherheit wird das Funksignal bei einer
Fenstergri -Betätigung mehrfach kurz hintereinander gesendet. Die
Reichweite in einem Gebäude beträgt bis zu 30 Meter. Durch die fort-
schrittliche Technik arbeitet SecuSignal® mit geringer Sendeleistung,
was das System unbedenklich bezüglich Elektrosmog macht.
Mitunter können jedoch bauliche Gegebenheiten die Reichweite be-
einträchtigen.
Um Störungen der Funksignale bei SecuSignal® zu vermeiden, kön-
nen spezielle Signalverstärker (Repeater) eingesetzt werden.
Wichtig: In ungünstiger elektromagnetischer Umgebung kann
es zu Störungen bei der Funkübertragung kommen. Weitere Tipps zur

10. Entsorgung
Das Symbol auf dem Produkt weist darauf hin, dass das
Produkt nicht über den normalen Hausmüll entsorgt wer-
den darf. Benutzer sind verpfl ichtet, die Altgeräte an einer

Neben und zuzüglich zu der Mängelhaftung des Ver-
käufers gewähren wir unter den nachstehenden Vor-
aussetzungen und in dem nachfolgend beschriebenen
Umfang eine Haltbarkeitsgarantie. Als Hersteller ga-
rantieren wir die einwandfreie Funktionstüchtigkeit von
sachgemäß gebrauchten Tür- und Fensterbeschlägen von HOPPE.
Diese Funktions-Garantie bezieht sich auf folgende Merkmale:
- Übertragung der Drehbewegung auf das Türschloss oder den
Dreh-/Kipp-Beschlag des Fensters
- Sperrmechanismus (bei Fenstergri en mit den Sonderfunktionen:
abschließbar, selbsttätige Verriegelung oder Secustik®)
Garantie-Ausschluss:
Ausdrücklich ausgenommen von dieser Funktions-Garantie sind alle
auswechselbaren Einzelteile, wie insbesondere Schrauben, Verbin-
dungsstifte usw. Für elektronische Bauteile gilt die gesetzliche Ge-
währleistung von 24 Monaten. Ferner wird keine Haftung übernom-
men für Schäden, die entstanden sind durch:
- ungeeignete und unsachgemäße Verwendung,
- fehlerhafte und nachlässige Behandlung,
- Nichtbeachtung von Einbau- und Pfl egeanweisungen, Änderungen
und Eigenreparaturen,

Das SecuSignal®-System ist mit dem CE-Zeichen ge-
kennzeichnet.
Die HOPPE Holding AG bestätigt hiermit für dieses Pro-
dukt die Übereinstimmung mit den folgenden Richtlinien:
• EU-Richtlinie 1999/5/EG „R&TTE-Direktive“
• EU-Richtlinie 89/336/EG „Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit“
Die Erklärung zur Konformität ist bei der HOPPE Holding AG hinter-
legt.
12. Garantie-Erklärung
- chemische und physikalische, nicht bei sachgemäßem Gebrauch
entstandene Einwirkungen auf die Materialoberfläche, z. B. Be-
schädigungen durch scharfkantige Gegenstände,
- nicht einwandfrei funktionstüchtige Elemente (Tür, Fenster) und/
oder Beschlagteile (z. B. Schloss, Band usw.).
Garantie-Leistungen:
Unsere Garantie-Leistung besteht ausschließlich darin, dass wir im
Falle eines innerhalb der Garantie-Zeit aufgetretenen Mangels in der
Funktionstüchtigkeit nach unserer Wahl die für den Erst-Endgebrau-
cher kostenlose Reparatur des Produkts oder eine kostenfreie Ersatz-
lieferung eines entsprechenden oder gleichartigen und gleichwertigen
Beschlages durchführen. Dem Garantie-Nehmer erwachsene Kosten,
Spesen, Porto und dergleichen, werden nicht ersetzt. Der Garantie-
Anspruch besteht nur gegen Vorlage des Produkts sowie eines
Nachweises, dass der Mangel in der Funktionstüchtigkeit innerhalb
der Garantie-Zeit aufgetreten ist. Dieser Nachweis kann insbesondere
durch Vorlage des Kaufbelegs geführt werden. Es wird daher emp-
fohlen, den Kaufbeleg mindestens bis zum Ablauf der Garantie-Zeit
sorgfältig aufzubewahren.
Garantie-Zeit:
Die Garantie-Zeit beträgt 10 Jahre und beginnt mit dem Tag des Kaufs
durch den Erst-Endgebraucher. Bei Reklamationen wenden Sie sich
bitte unter Vorlage des Produkts und des Kaufbelegs direkt an den
Verkäufer oder den Hersteller.

2. How does SecuSignal® work?
SecuSignal® is a radio-based system that monitors the positions of
windows via the window handle.
SecuSignal® enables the opening states, “window tilted”, “window
open” and “window closed”, of commercially available turn-and-tilt
windows to be displayed on a receiver terminal compatible with
EnOcean® technology.
The SecuSignal® radio transmitter is completely wireless and does
not require batteries. Power is generated by the patented EnOcean®
technology when the SecuSignal® handle is turned. The SecuSignal®
radio transmitter is completely maintenance-free!

The radio transmitters must not come into direct contact with mois-
ture or water. The SecuSignal® System is suitable for use in dry
conditions indoors only.
Wait for a few hours when moving the devices from a cold to
a warm environment before operating them so as to avoid any
potential damage caused by condensed water.
Converting and/or modifying the devices without authorisation is
not permitted. Do not open the devices since this would impair
safety and render claims under warranty null and void.
SecuSignal® indicates the opening states of commercially availa-
ble turn-and-tilt windows. The system displays the following states:
"window tilted", "window open" and "window closed".
The product is not designed to be a security surveillance system.
Any other use than that described above is not in accordance with
the device's design and may result in injury and damage to persons
or property.

Operation
The window handles must be turned to an
exact vertical or horizontal position to func-
tion properly.

8. Information about the radio range
When the window handle is operated, the radio signal is sent several
times in quick succession to ensure that transmission is successful.
Signal range inside a building is up to 30 metres. Thanks to advanced
technology, SecuSignal® operates using low transmission power
which makes the system totally harmless with regard to electric smog.
However, structural factors may occasionally impede the range.
Special signal repeaters can be used in order to avoid signal malfunc-
tions with SecuSignal®.
Important: Adverse electromagnetic conditions may cause
malfunctions in radio signal transmission. More tips on radio range
planning are available at www.hoppe.com.

10. Disposal
The symbol on the product indicates that it must not be
disposed of as normal domestic waste. Users are obliged
to dispose of old devices at collection points for old elec-
trical and electronic devices. Waste sorting and proper
disposal of your old devices will make a contribution to-
wards maintaining natural resources and will ensure that
materials are recycled. In turn, this protects people’s health and the
environment. Information on where you can fi nd collection points for
your old devices is available from your city council, local waste dis-
posal companies or the shop where you purchased the device.

Over and above the seller’s liability for defects, we also
guarantee the durability of the product in accordance
with the requirements stated and within the scope set
forth below. As the manufacturer, we guarantee that
door and window hardware from HOPPE are in perfect
working order if they are properly used. This operational guarantee
applies to the following features:
- The transfer of the rotary motion to the door lock or the window tilt/
turn hardware
- The locking mechanism (on window handles with the following spe-
cial functions: keyed locking, push-to-open or Secustik®)
Warranty exclusion:
All replaceable component parts, particularly screws, connecting
spindles etc., are expressly excluded from this operational warranty.
The statutory warranty of 24 months applies to electronic compo-
nents. Moreover, no liability will be assumed for any damages caused
by the following:
- Inappropriate and improper use
- Incorrect and negligent handling
- Failure to observe installation and care instructions, modifi cations
11. CE conformity
The SecuSignal® System bears the CE mark.
With the use of the CE mark, HOPPE Holding AG confi rms
that this product complies with the following directives:
• EC Directive 1999/5/EC: R&TTE
• EC Directive 89/336/EC: Electromagnetic compatibility
HOPPE Holding AG holds the declaration of conformity.
12. Warranty
and repairs not carried out by us
- Chemical and physical alterations to the product surface when it is
used improperly, e.g. damages caused by objects with sharp edges
- Elements (door, window) and/or hardware (e.g. locks, hinges etc.)
that are not in perfect working order.
Warranty services:
Our warranty service applies exclusively in the event that a defect in
the functional e ciency of the product occurs within the warranty pe-
riod. In this event, we shall decide whether to repair the product used
by the fi rst enduser for free, or to replace it for free with a suitable or
equivalent fi tting. Costs, charges, postage and other similar expenses
borne by the warrantee will not be reimbursed. A claim can only be
made under warranty if the product is presented along with proof that
the functional defect has occurred within the warranty period. Proof of
purchase in particular can be presented as proof of this. We recom-
mend, therefore, that you keep the proof of purchase in a safe place
at least until the warranty period has expired.
Warranty period:
The warranty period is 10 years and begins on the day the product
is purchased by the fi rst enduser. For any complaints, please contact
the seller or the manufacturer directly and present the product along
with the proof of purchase.

2. Come funziona SecuSignal®?

Con SecuSignal® gli stati delle fi nestre a battente o a vasistas «fi ne-
stra ribaltata», «fi nestra aperta» e «fi nestra chiusa» vengono segnala-
ti attraverso una centralina (ricevitore) compatibile con la tecnologia
EnOcean®.
Il rilevatore (trasmettitore radio) SecuSignal® funziona completamente
senza cavi e senza batteria. L’energia necessaria viene generata du-
rante la rotazione della martellina SecuSignal® grazie alla brevettata
tecnologia EnOcean®. Il rilevatore SecuSignal® non necessita di ma-
nutenzione.

Evitare il contatto diretto dei rilevatori (trasmettitori radio) con l’ac-
qua o altri liquidi. Il sistema SecuSignal® è concepito esclusivamen-
te per l’uso in ambienti chiusi e asciutti.
Dopo il passaggio da ambienti freddi ad ambienti caldi, attendere
qualche ora prima di mettere in funzione l’apparecchio, in modo da
evitare possibili danneggiamenti a causa della condensa.
È vietato trasformare e/o modifi care autonomamente i componenti.
Non aprire i componenti! In caso di apertura viene a mancare la
sicurezza di funzionamento e la garanzia decade.
SecuSignal® serve per segnalare gli stati di apertura di fi nestre a
battente o a vasistas. Il sistema segnala gli stati «fi nestra ribaltata»,
«fi nestra aperta» e «fi nestra chiusa».
Il prodotto non è un sistema tecnico di sorveglianza e sicurezza.
Un impiego diverso da quello sopra descritto è da considerarsi
non conforme all’uso previsto e può provocare lesioni personali e/o
danni materiali.

Funzionamento
Per un corretto funzionamento, la martellina
deve sempre essere allineata in posizione
esattamente verticale o orizzontale.

8. Indicazioni sul raggio d’azione
Per garantire la massima sicurezza di trasmissione, il segnale radio
viene inviato per diverse volte consecutivamente ad ogni azionamen-
to della martellina. Il raggio d’azione all’interno degli edifi ci è di circa
30 metri. Grazie all’avanzata tecnologia impiegata, SecuSignal® opera
con una potenza di trasmissione minima ed è quindi assolutamente
sicuro dal punto di vista dell’inquinamento elettromagnetico (elettro-
smog).
Talvolta, le caratteristiche architettoniche potrebbero tuttavia com-
promettere il raggio d’azione. Per evitare disturbi dei segnali radio di
SecuSignal®, possono essere installati speciali amplifi catori di segna-
le (repeater).
Importante: in ambienti caratterizzati da forti campi elettroma-
gnetici possono verifi carsi disturbi o interferenze nella trasmissione
dei segnali radio. Per ulteriori consigli su come pianifi care il raggio

funzionamento delle maniglie HOPPE che siano state
utilizzate correttamente. La garanzia sulla funzione ha
per oggetto i seguenti meccanismi:
- rasmissione del moto rotatorio sulla serratura della porta o sul
meccanismo di rotazione o vasistas della fi nestra,
- meccanismo di chiusura (per maniglie di finestre con le funzioni
particolari: con chiusura, con pulsante, Secustik®)
Esclusione della garanzia:
Sono espressamente escluse dalla presente garanzia le parti sostitui-
bili, quali ad esempio viti, spine di connessione ecc. Per i componenti
elettronici si applica la garanzia legale di 24 mesi. Inoltre non si assu-
me alcuna responsabilità per danni verifi cati a seguito di:
- utilizzo improprio e/o inadeguato
- trattamento errato e/o negligente
- inosservanza delle istruzioni di montaggio e di manutenzione, modi-
fi che e riparazioni improprie
- reazioni chimiche e fi siche sulla superfi cie dovuti a un uso inade-
guato, ad esempio danneggiamenti causati da oggetti taglienti

Prestazione di garanzia:
La prestazione di garanzia prevede, esclusivamente, l’esecuzione a
favore del primo utente fi nale, a nostra scelta, della riparazione o della
sostituzione gratuita del prodotto rilevatosi difettoso entro il periodo
di garanzia. Non sono rimborsabili costi, spese e spese postali. La
prestazione di garanzia è eseguita solo dietro presentazione del pro-
dotto e presuppone la prova che il vizio si sia manifestato entro il
periodo di garanzia, p. es. a mezzo dello scontrino. Si consiglia, per-
tanto, di conservare lo scontrino almeno fi no allo scadere il periodo
di garanzia.
Periodo di garanzia:

2. Comment fonctionne SecuSignal®
SecuSignal® est un système de surveillance par ondes radio de
l’état des fenêtres et portes-fenêtres qui communique par le biais
de la poignée.
Grâce à SecuSignal®, le récepteur compatible avec la technologie
EnOcean® peut afficher les états “fenêtre basculée”, “fenêtre ou-
verte” et “fenêtre fermée” de fenêtres à ouverture oscillo-battante ou
à la française.
L’émetteur radio SecuSignal® fonctionne sans aucun câblage ni
batterie. L’énergie nécessaire est produite lors de la rotation de la
poignée de fenêtre grâce au système breveté EnOcean®. L’é m e t-
teur radio SecuSignal® ne nécessite absolument aucun entretien.

Les émetteurs radio ne doivent pas être en contact direct avec
l’humidité ou l’eau. Le système SecuSignal® est uniquement
approprié pour une utilisation dans des locaux secs.
En cas de changement d’emplacement, d’un environnement froid
à un environnement chaud, attendre quelques heures avant de re-
mettre les appareils en service afi n d’éviter tout risque de dégâts
suite à la formation de condensation.
Il est interdit de transformer et/ou de modifi er les appareils de son
propre gré. Ne pas ouvrir les appareils, à défaut de quoi ceux-ci ne
seraient plus sûrs et la garantie ne serait plus valable.
Le système SecuSignal® est destiné à a cher des informations sur
la position de fenêtres oscillo-battantes ou à ouverture à la fran-
çaise. Le système indique les états “fenêtre basculée”, “fenêtre ou-
verte” et “fenêtre fermée”.
Le produit n’est pas conçu pour une surveillance à des fi ns de
sécurité.
Toute autre utilisation que celle décrite ci-dessus est considérée
comme non conforme et risquerait de provoquer des blessures
physiques ainsi que des dégâts matériels.

8. Consignes relatives à la portée
Afi n de s’assurer que le signal radio est bien transmis, ce dernier est
émis brièvement plusieurs fois de suite lors de l’actionnement de la
poignée de fenêtre. La portée du signal dans un bâtiment s’étend
jusqu’à 30mètres. Grâce à la technologie perfectionnée dont le sys-
tème est équipé, la puissance d’émission de SecuSignal® est faible, et
son impact est donc négligeable sur le brouillard électromagnétique.
Toutefois, certaines confi gurations de bâtiment peuvent parfois en-
traver la portée.
Important: la transmission peut être perturbée dans des envi-
ronnements où les conditions électromagnétiques sont défavorables.

Au-delà de la responsabilité légale du vendeur pour
défaut de qualité, nous garantissons en tant que
fabricant, sous les conditions préalables ci-dessous,
la durabilité irréprochable des poignées HOPPE qui
auront été manipulées de façon convenable.
La garantie s’étend au fonctionnement des poignées de portes et
fenêtres et couvre tous les vices imputables, preuve à l’appui, à des
défauts de fabrication ou de matériau. La garantie de fonctionnement
porte sur les aspects suivants:
- transfert du mouvement de rotation sur la serrure de la porte ou
sur la crémone de la fenêtre
- mécanisme de verrouillage (pour les poignées de fenêtre avec
fonctions spéciales: condamnable à clé, verrouillage
automatique ou Secustik®)
Exclusion de garantie:
Sont explicitement exclues de cette garantie sur le fonctionnement
toutes les pièces détachées démontables, telles que les vis, les
carrés, etc. Les composants électroniques sont couverts par une
garantie légale de 24mois. En outre, aucune garantie n’est prise pour
des dommages survenus à la suite:
- d’un usage impropre et incorrect,

des ferrures (par exemple serrure ou charnière).
Étendue de la garantie:
Si un défaut entravant le fonctionnement du produit survient pendant
la période de garantie, notre garantie consiste, exclusivement et à
notre convenance, en la réparation du produit sans frais pour le
premier acquéreur ou l’acquéreur fi nal ou en le remplacement sans
frais par une garniture correspondante ou de même type et
équivalente. Les coûts généraux, frais de port et autres frais
similaires subis par le bénéficiaire de la garantie ne sont pas
pris en charge. Le recours à la garantie n’est possible que sur pré-
sentation du produit concerné ainsi que d’un justifi catif prouvant
que le défaut est survenu lors de la période de garantie Le ticket
de caisse, notamment, peut faire office de justificatif. Il est donc
conseillé de conserver soigneusement le ticket de caisse jusqu’à
expiration de la validité de garantie.
Validité de la garantie:
La garantie est de 10 ans et prend e et au jour de l’achat par le
premier acquéreur ou par l’acquéreur fi nal. En cas de réclamation,
veuillez vous munir du produit et du justifi catif d’achat et vous
adresser directement soit au distributeur.

Con SecuSignal® se pueden visualizar en un receptor compatible con
la tecnología EnOcean® los estados de apertura “ventana abatida”,
“ventana abierta” y “ventana cerrada” de ventanas oscilabatientes
habituales en el mercado.
El radiotransmisor SecuSignal® funciona completamente sin cablea-
do ni ningún tipo de batería. La energía se genera girando la manilla
SecuSignal®, con ayuda de la tecnología patentada EnOcean®. ¡El ra-
diotransmisor SecuSignal® no requiere ningún tipo de mantenimiento!

Los radiotransmisores no deben entrar en contacto directo con
humedad o agua. El sistema SecuSignal® solo es adecuado para
espacios interiores secos.
Al cambiar de un entorno frío a uno caliente, espere unos segundos
antes de poner en funcionamiento los aparatos con el fi n de evitar
posibles daños debido al agua de condensación.
No está permitido remodelar y/o cambiar por cuenta propia los
aparatos. No abrir los aparatos, de lo contrario dejan de ser segu-
ros y se anula la garantía.
SecuSignal® sirve para visualizar los estados de apertura de ven-
tanas oscilabatientes habituales en el mercado. El sistema comu-
nica los estados “ventana abatida”, “ventana abierta” y “ventana
cerrada”.
El producto no está pensado para un control técnico de seguridad.
Un uso diferente al descrito se considera un uso no previsto y como
consecuencia puede provocar daños personales y materiales.
